Chapter 203 - Sure Enough
The slap came out of nowhere, stunning the crazed woman into silence.
“Manager Huang, you…”
“Smack!”
With a face red with fury, Manager Huang didn't hesitate to deliver another slap to the woman, barking at her.
“That's for you!”
“And you, get out! You too!”
His finger jabbed in the direction of Xu Tianhong, who was on the receiving end of his wrath.
Xu Tianhong stood there, slack-jawed and bewildered.
It made no sense to him, and in a flash, his stubborn streak kicked in.
“Manager Huang, I haven't broken any rules. Why are you telling me to scram?”
Manager Huang gave him a chilly glance and said nothing.
But when he faced Soong Wan, his demeanor shifted dramatically. He mustered up an expression of deep regret and spoke with deference.
“Miss Soong, I apologize for the fright!”
“Please be assured, Miss Soong, I will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.”
This abrupt change in the situation left everyone around them baffled.
The bystanders, witnessing Manager Huang's deferential treatment of Soong Wan, began to speculate with excitement.
“Could she really be the daughter of some high-powered figure?”
“It seems likely!”

Pausing her phone call, Soong Wan addressed Manager Huang's sudden politeness.
“Do you know who I am?”
Manager Huang, eager to please, quickly flashed a servile smile and replied.
“I had the honor of attending a banquet with Chairman Miao, hosted by your esteemed father. It's a pleasure to meet you.”
“You are the daughter of Tianhee City's Jade King, Mr. Soong Wanzhong. Of course, I recognize you!”
Manager Huang revealed Soong Wan's identity, and instantly, Xu Tianhong, who had been defiantly waiting for an explanation, along with the crazy woman beside him, went ashen.
The crowd around them erupted into a buzz of shock and chatter.
“Wow, she's actually the daughter of the Jade King, Soong Wanzhong?”
“No way, I didn't see that coming!”
“Looks like these two have really stepped in it now!”

Ignoring the schadenfreude of the onlookers, Manager Huang turned back to Xu Tianhong and the woman still clutching her face.
“Now do you understand why I'm firing you?”
“The lady you've been talking about is the Jade King's daughter, and our Chairman Miao is a close friend of Mr. Soong!”
“Miss Soong wasn't lying—her family really does own several Long Teng Guo Sheng vehicles!”
“Just recently, for Miss Soong's birthday, Chairman Miao gifted her a Long Teng Guo Sheng!”
Manager Huang's revelation left Xu Tianhong utterly disheartened.
The crowd, upon hearing this, gasped in amazement.
“It's true what they say: poverty really does limit our imagination.”
Xu Tianhong was seething with bitterness.
“This is all that madwoman's fault! If not for her, I could have sold this Soaring Dragon and might even have had the chance to meet the Jade King's daughter!”
The more Xu Tianhong dwelled on it, the angrier he got. He glared at the distraught woman and, in a fit of rage, slapped her across the face.
“Smack!”
“This is all because of you!”
He looked up only to meet Manager Huang's icy stare.
Realizing that apologies would be futile, he turned on his heel and stormed off.
The slap seemed to snap the crazed woman back to reality.
She stared at Soong Wan, her mind unraveling.
“This can't be happening! It just can't!”
“You're all lying to me, lying!”
Manager Huang's brow furrowed at the scene, and he signaled to the nearby security guard.
The guard caught on immediately and stepped in, escorting the woman out without delay.
Manager Huang then turned to Soong Wan and quickly asked,
“Are you satisfied with how I handled the situation?”
Soong Wan glanced at Manager Huang and then noticed Jiang Hao, who had been spectating. She swiftly pulled him over.
“You owe an apology to this gentleman, not to me!”
“Besides, he's the one interested in buying a car today, not me. I'm merely here with him.”
