Chapter 175: Florida Man Invents a Method to Restore Women’s “Purity” with His Personal Rock
"How could this happen?!"
A middle-aged man with a thick mustache and two sons in colorful frilly clothes ran with all their might, escaping from the chaos without looking back.
Everything so far went according to their plans, except today.
Before the cursed moon eclipse incident, they had stolen mysterious weapons, "metal pipes", from the Turo House's turf. Upon returning home, they consulted with an adventurer who had become famous in town for having a harem of female slaves and a giant mansion. He was also the one who purchased the Swan House's mansion and became the patron of the noble house.
The person accepted a quest from the Swan House and inspected the mysterious metal pipes. He identified them as incomplete firearms, inferior to his products. He then agreed to sell "muskets" to Brag Swan in exchange for information about the weapon's origins.
Their trade went well. With the new weapons, they rapidly expanded their slave trade businesses and got in contact with spies from Crimson Desert tribes. They quickly exchanged information and formed a trade agreement.
Just before the cursed moon eclipse incident, they planned to export slaves to the desert in exchange for mana crystals and a rare resource, "Hell Fire Liquid", which the gunsmith had requested.
But the cursed moon eclipse occurred, interrupting their businesses. The Swan House and their troops escaped the city with their top mages, leaving the Eleanor Church to fend off the mutated civilians alone. Some of their members also transformed into monsters as they looked at the moon, but they managed to minimize the damage due to assistance from the Crimson Desert allies.
After the cursed moon calamity had passed, they returned to the city, overthrew the Eleanor Church's authority, and enslaved every survivor they found. Brag Swan and his men were deadset on migrating to another city while they enjoyed the wealth, gained from selling his civilians and priestesses from the Eleanor Church.
Unfortunately, they caught wind of the reinforcement from the church and heard about Cornelia, Elder Zen, and the Paladin's main forces. He and his surviving family members escaped the city as usual, leaving everything to the mysterious firearm merchant and his soldiers.
But then, this happened. Another mysterious man came out of nowhere and ruined their sweet retirement plan.
Brag Swan finally looked behind him, but he didn't see any movement or sense of a pursuer. He intentionally lay prone on the ground and stopped moving.
His sons didn't stop, and they failed to notice their parent's actions. As the tall grasses blocked their vision, they kept running in a different direction.
*RUMBLE*
A second later, the loud noise of a jetpack hummed and something flew over Brag Swan's location. He could feel the wind and the heat, but he didn't dare to look up. Hiding with all his might, he covered his head with both hands, trying to become as small and unnoticeable as he could.
The noise passed by, heading toward another direction.
Yet, Brag Swan didn't move. He kept laying low, holding his breath, and facing the dirty ground.
*BANG*
A gunshot sound scared Brag Swan. Fearing for the worse, he looked for anything to cover his body.
Fortunately, a shrub bush was nearby. He crawled toward the bush and used it as a cover. Hiding inside the bush, Brag Swan started praying.
*BANG*
Another gunshot resounded. Brag Swan's bladder trembled as his urine almost broke the floodgate. As he needed to release so badly, he crouched and pulled out the thing, taking a leak in the bush.
As yellow water escaped him, Brag Swan felt a little better and lighter. He felt like a mountain had escaped from his chest even though he was in a life-and-death situation.
But while he was in the middle of relieving, the loud hum of the jetpack returned. It hovered above his position.
Brag Swan came back to his senses. He looked through the gaps of the bush leaves and found a mysterious man in tattered clothes. He seemed to be looking around, but his attention was elsewhere.
Fearing of getting exposed, Brag Swan tried to stop the activity. However, his bladders refused to close the floodgate. As a result, the quiet sound of water hitting the soil continued for a few seconds.
Brag Swan shut his eyes, blaming his weak bladders for failing him. He was ready to stand up and surrender in case the mysterious jetpack man found him.
As Brag Swan looked up, his heart sank. The man looked down and stared straight at the bush that he was using as a cover. Their eyes met.
Then, the mysterious metal thing in the jetpack man's arms pointed toward him.
*BANG*
That was the last noise that Brag Swan had heard. His consciousness turned black instantly while his body collapsed on the wet soil, soaked by his own urine.
…
Felix let out a heavy sigh after finishing off the runaway red-dot entities, displayed in his system radar map. He flew back to the caravan to finish off the remaining soldiers of Swan House or the Crimson Desert.
Upon returning, Felix found the remaining people of Swan House in casual clothes climbing out of their horse carts and wagons. They all abandoned their belongings and weapons, running toward the port.
Felix raised his gun, planning to finish off everybody. But when he thought of the precious mana-piercing rounds, he decided not to use them on fleeing soldiers. Putting his gun back in his inventory, Felix landed on the ground to check on the rescued people.
He pulled a blanket from the second-largest wagon and found eight teenage priestesses inside. Their weary wet eyes, gagged mouths, tied arms, and torn clothes said a lot about the traumas that they had been through.
Felix cut the ropes, removed the gags, and consoled them.
"It's okay. You're safe. Help has arrived."
Hearing Felix's kind words, three of them smiled. As they had endured the hardship for so long, they fainted from exhaustion. However, the other five looked lifeless. Their dull eyes, bruises on their bodies, and traces of abuse indicated that their minds had given up on themselves.
"God dammit," Felix swore through his teeth, regretting that he didn't kill the escapees or torture them enough. He should have crushed their balls or burned them alive for what they had done to these poor maidens.
Seeing their conditions, Felix thought of the spells that he had learned so far. He wondered if he could at least heal their mental wounds or ignite their will to continue living.
According to Singtowl's instructions and lecture, he could use water magic. One of many useful water spells was holy water creation, which could be used for healing small wounds, removing weak poisons, cleansing curses, and relieving one's mind.
Planning to try the spell for the first time, Felix looked around for a container. He rushed to the burning wagon and picked a metal chest full of gold. He poured the gold out and brought the chest over to the rescued priestesses.
Upon getting back, Felix started circulating his essence to his fingertip. Thinking of transparent and sparkling holy water in the myths and legends, Felix tried creating it.
A drop of glowing liquid emerged from his fingertip and dropped at the bottom of the chest. However, it was not enough for consumption.
*DING*
<You have created a drop of Holy Water. You have consumed 10,000 points of energy.>
It was not an easy task. However, Felix had a way to cheat the system. He brought out one of the Dim Philosopher Stones from his inventory. He then looked at the teenagers and the holy water.

He suddenly got inspired
Could he restore their purity with this stone instead of soothing their mind and heal them? Shouldn't that be a better option?
…

…
Felix changed his mind. Instead of multiplying the holy water, he decided to use the philosopher to heal them instead. He had two of them at the moment, and he could buy more. Therefore, spending a few charges on these poor girls was affordable.
"Listen. I can restore your purity! Don't give up yet!" Felix tried to cheer them up.
Hearing Felix's words, a light flickered in their eyes. They looked up and dully stared at Felix. However, the corners of their mouths curved down as they didn't believe him.
One of them managed to gather enough physical and mental strength to speak.
"Mister… we can't… use magic… anymore… our faith… destroyed, ruined."
Felix put puzzle pieces together. It seemed that their magic required them to protect their chastity or something related. Not giving up on them, Felix decided to show them.
"I have a Philosopher's Stone. I'm not sure it can erase your bad memory, but here's what I do know… It can restore everything you've lost. It can bring someone back from the dead and regenerate entire limbs. Don't you think it could easily restore a bit of flesh and patch it all back together?"
The girls still stared at Felix blankly, confused.
Seeing how confused they were, Felix decided to show them. He spent eight charges of the stone to heal everybody.
