Chapter 176: Florida Man Liberates Local City from Feudal Lord's Tyranny in the Name of Democracy and Harem of Muscular Female Paladins
The wounds were sealed. All scars and bruises vanished. A certain part of disconnected flesh returned while foreign substances within them dissipated into nothingness.
The girls sensed it too. Mana from the environment flocked around them, gathering within their hearts. Moreover, mysterious energy returned and accumulated within their naval, where they were once soiled.
Sensing the return of their most important power, the priestesses widened their eyes in disbelief. The girls who had fainted earlier regained consciousness and felt their power surged.
"M-My blessing… is back!"
"Me, too!"
"The blessing of Eleanor is back!"
The girls shed tears of joy. They completely forgot the nightmarish torture that they had been through.
Felix smiled, happy for them. He turned around and searched the other cargo and wagons. Pulling the sheet of another wagon, Felix found more priestesses, who were bound together. Again, he removed the restraints.
But as Felix disliked explaining everything multiple times, he decided to gather all the victims in one place. He rushed back to the previous group, asking for their help.
"Girlies, I know it's tiring, but I need a hand. Can you help me gather everybody to one place so that I can heal them the same way I did to you?"
The eight priestesses stopped crying. Their expression turned solemn as they nodded.
"Leave it to us, benefactor!"
The girls adjusted their clothes. Those without a garment ripped the sheets and made makeshift clothes to cover themselves. Jumping down from the wagon with enthusiasm, they sprinted toward their friends.
With their help, the group managed to gather 192 maidens and 50 injured paladins in one place. Half of the youngsters were in a similar condition to the rescued group. On the other hand, all paladins were mature women who were over 35 years old. Some lost their limbs and carried over multiple scars on their bodies, and new flesh wounds hadn't healed yet.
The injured paladins warily stared at Felix, ready to strike if Felix were to show signs of lustful behavior. Fortunately, such a scenario didn't happen.
Felix felt bad for the women. After extinguishing burning clothes and fire on his body, Felix used the philosopher stone again, healing everybody at once. Gold light shone upon them as a miracle took place in the middle of the road.
Those without arms or legs got their limbs back. Scars of wars vanished, and some paladins recovered their youthful attractive appearance. Smooth skin returned to those who had suffered from burned scars. Maidens who had lost the precious thing got their power back.
However, there was an interesting side effect. Many maidens clenched their belly and expelled blood from their lower orifice, removing unwanted flesh from their body. Their faces flushed in embarrassment, but they brightly smiled, happy that the marks of shame had been removed.
The women hugged each other and wailed, letting out their pending stress and mental fatigue. Finally, they had woken up from the bad dreams.
Felix let out a heavy sigh. With this, the Eleanor Church owed him a big favor. He started thinking about taking in these poor priestesses to his flying island to fill the population quest.
He probed them while many girls were crying, "Girls, I have a favor to ask you."
As soon as Felix opened his mouth to speak, a few crying priestesses stopped to listen. The paladins all stood up, ignoring their shameful appearance.
One of them saluted, "Ask away, benefactor! The Eleanor Church is in your debt! Whatever you want me to do, I'll do anything!"
Felix nodded. Part of him was glad that the paladins somewhat acted like a decent human being. Had it been those nasty Lamias, they would have spread a certain part of their body and seduced him instead.
"Ahem," Felix removed the dirty thought as if he were upholding the sacred NNN ritual. He tested the group, "I'm a new landlord, and my land is quite empty at the moment. I was wondering if I could ask the Church of Eleanor to dispatch people to help me erect a church on my land." Continue reading at m|v-l'e -NovelBin.net
The girls looked at each other because this matter was related to the higher-ups. Some were disappointed as they couldn't help Felix or voice their opinions.
Seeing the response, Felix had a feeling that he might be beating around the bushes. He decided to get to the point.
"Actually, forget it. I want to invite you girls to move to my new land. Please come and live in my territory."
"…Eh?" The girls were stunned.
"I have my reasons, okay?" Felix tried to come up with excuses, "You see. If you continue staying in that city, you might be reminded of the… incidents… and it's kinda traumatizing, right? If you move to my territory, you can forget everything and start a new life there. You can build your new church, cathedral, or grand palace if you want to! Can you…?"
The paladins' eyes brightened as they understood Felix's intention. They were also worried about their juniors, who might still be traumatized because of the recent events.
"Good idea! Let's move there together!" One of them tried to convince the priestesses.
However, the priestesses looked reluctant. They exchanged looks with each other. One voiced her concerns, "But relocating require our mentor's consent. If the bishops don't agree, we can't relocate."
The paladin earlier rebuked, "If they, one day, ask you to sell your body or kill yourself, will you do as you're told?!"
"…But that's…" The priestesses began to sweat, unable to counter that argument.
"Listen, we don't usually travel a lot because our branches are far apart. Traveling a long distance is a lot of hurdles. We need to hire mercenaries as guards for protection against bandits. There's also a risk factor of migrating monsters and wild beasts. Every time we travel, one or two of us always get injured. But this is different."
The paladin gazed at Felix, gesturing for him to explain his reason.
Felix nodded and clarified, "I know you have your own laws and customs, but your church's guidelines are there to ensure your safety, not to become a prison and restrain your freedom. How about this? If you move to my land, and your church punishes you because of it, I'll take responsibility for everything. If you're excommunicated, I'll establish a new freaking church or a religion for you!"
One of the paladins smirked and teased Felix, "You'll take responsibility for everything? I mean, anything?"
"Well, if that really happens, yes. What do you want me to do, then?"
The paladins looked at each other and burst into laughter. They then revealed a custom, which they never disclosed to outsiders.
"Benefactor, do you know that paladins were once priestesses?"
"No. So, your junior will one day become like you?"
"Depends. In our cases, we decide not to get married and remain single. But if you really wish to take responsibility, what would you do if some of us decided to find a marriage partner but they couldn't find a soulmate? Could you take responsibility by accepting us as your wives? Can you really handle everybody here?"
"…"
Felix's expression was frozen. He sensed a deja vu.
The maidens all stared at Felix with glittering eyes. He had a handsome face, and his refined muscles looked different from flabby-lazy-looking men in town. For the maidens, who had never experienced love, they found Felix attractive and desirable.
The paladin pushed for it, "If you swear that you will marry all of us in case we are expelled from the church, we will move to your territory."
Felix facepalmed. He cursed this world and himself for attracting the wrong women. He wondered why the local females were so daring and aggressive.
Felix had no choice. He promised them even though he didn't want to, "Alright, alright. I'll talk to your church's leader, the pope, or whoever is responsible for your location assignment. I'll make sure none of you get expelled or excommunicated!"
"But if that happens?"
"Fine! Whatever you desire, I'll take responsibility."
The girls brightly smiled. Five mature paladins giggled, hugged him, and kissed his cheeks and neck, showing affection.
Felix quickly broke free from the women and strapped his jetpack. After escaping from the cougars, he ordered them, "First thing's first! Help me bring all these wagons and treasures back since some might have been looted from your church or the town. I'll go back and check on the others!"
Without waiting for their response, Felix leaped into the sky and flew back to the city.
The paladins and priestesses watched him disappear to the sky. They all smiled. Some secretly prayed for Felix while the innocent ones blushed, discovering their first love.
The kingdom of Felix had taken a strange turn that he didn't wish for.

5 PM of the same day, the south gate of Balicano was opened. A horsewoman rushed out and traveled straight toward Cornelia's paladin camp.
An hour later, Cornelia and Zen were still discussing their tactics in the command tent, finalizing their attack plans. While taking notes about the coordinated attacks, one of the paladins rushed into the tent.
"Commander! Urgent news! Our messenger from the Balicano City arrives!"
Zen and Cornelia stopped what they were doing and looked at the person, "Call her in!"
A minute later, an exhausted but happy paladin arrived. The skin under her eyes was dark, and the bandages on her arms and shoulders were still flesh. She knelt and looked up, reporting the good news.
"Commander, the Balicano City has fallen. A brave man has liberated the city for us! Brag Swan's men were all dead!"
"WHAT?!"
