Chapter 66 A Cyclops Appears

Jake's face was ashen. He did not expect a mythical creature like the Cyclops to suddenly appear in a low level raid like this.

This was a tactic that was used a lot of times, and he did not expect there to be a sudden bonus creature in the Cyclops.

He had the Priest's necklace equipped as he looked at all of the guild members behind him.

"Tanks in the front. Two rows. Once each tank gets hit, they will go back and the second row will absorb the second hit!" Jake shouted, as he reorganised the array just a little more.

Suddenly, the trees next to the cyclops suddenly flew into the air. The Cyclops was holding them, and he roared with a deafening voice as he threw the trees toward the hundred players in front of him.

"Hold!" Jake shouted as the trees shot toward them.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, a sound came from Myriad Arrows. It was the sound of a twang, and the release of an arrow.

Boom!

The trees suddenly exploded in the air, and became multiple bits, all of which could do no damage to these players.

"Good work. Kierch, you and me, now." Jake said as he went forward, his sword shining.

"Despairing Strike!" his sword slashed the feet of the Cyclops, who roared with pain as it moved its right leg back, stumbling a little.

The face was visible a little clearer because of the trees that were taken out.

"He is a big target. Mages and Archers! Do not give him a chance to rest!" Jake shouted as his sword shone again.

"Slash of Hunger!"

The attack did visible damage, and golden blood started flowing out of the Cyclop's foot.

[Critical Hit! -12000 HP]

"Now I have to wait a few minutes before I can use it again." Jake thought to himself.

On the other foot, Kierch was working his magic. Kierch used dual swords and both of his swords moved like a blur as they kept hitting the foot of the cyclops.

[-100 HP]

[-100 HP]

Although this was but a small scratch on the huge HP bar that was visible on top of the Cyclops, the speed at which Kierch attacked made even these small scratches a visible dent.

The mages and the archers were also working their magic, and the Cyclops fumbled a few meters back.

But it was still a Mythical Creature, and it had skills of its own.

Roar!

[Paralyse: You cannot move for five seconds]

All of a sudden, every single player skidded to a stop as they looked at the Cyclops' large fist looming forward. As it approached them, even the sun was blocked, and a huge shadow covered them.

"... two, one!" Jake suddenly moved just as the fist was about to reach them.

He moved right in front of the trajectory of the fist, jumping to be the first one to receive this gigantic attack.

"Reflect!"

The fist hit Jake, but Jake did not blast into the ground like everyone would expect. Instead, the cyclops suddenly fell back and a huge chunk of the cyclops' HP vanished.

"The attacks are slow, and we can easily move to avoid them. That paralysing attack will definitely have a cool down. Take care of the Cyclops before it can use it! It is still dazed by the attack! Use this opportunity! Barrage it with attacks!" Jake shouted.

His sword cut forward and tried to tear apart the entire foot. Every attack landed at the same small wound, trying to do more and more damage. With so many attacks, there was a visible difference in the right foot! It was like a lumberjack trying to cut down a tree.

Here, Jake was trying to cut down an entire Cyclops. If a Cyclops couldn't move, if it couldn't stand, then it wouldn't be able to attack.

"Swordsmen! Use your best attacks on this one foot. You too Kierch! This foot seems to have enough damage. There is a point on this foot that has zero defense." Jake looked at Kierch.

Kierch's foot was full of small golden scratches, but no matter how much he did, he could not pierce through the tough hide of the Cyclops. And yet, in the same time, not only did his Guild leader do exactly that, but also take a full blown attack from the Cyclops and come out unscathed?

He was just speechless.

"What are you waiting for? You have the best attack power here. I can't do this without you." Jake shouted.

Kierch nodded and he flew to the side, barely missing a stomp from this dizzy Cyclops as he flew toward Jake's foot. It was wide enough for all of them to start attacking it. While Kierch started hacking at it from the opposite side, multiple guild members were attacking the same spot that Jake brought out.

"Keep it going for another few minutes!" Jake shouted as he looked at the tanks.

"You will have to take the next two blows. If all of you take the blow at once, the attack will be distributed, and maybe you won't die. Don't worry about death. You can get the levels back. But we can't afford to lose a big monster like this. We have to defeat it." Jake said.

"Yes, Guild Leader!" the tanks readied themselves for the next attack that the Cyclops was about to land.

"Scatter! Let the tanks take this one!" Jake shouted.

All the warriors, Jake and Kierch included, jumped sideways, some falling on trees, and some on bushes.

The Cyclops' right foot raised as it kicked forward. That single kick was strong enough to decimate all of the warriors in one blow, that was for sure.

But because they were not there, the kick went forward to the tanks, who all stood there, taking in the ten feet wide foot straight to their shields.

[Critical Hit!]

[Critical Hit]

Their HP bars all slid into the reds as they fell back. But miraculously, all of them were alive.

"Mages who have healing spells! Use them right now! The second row of tanks! Step forward!" Jake shouted as he moved as quick as he could.

The foot that the Cyclops had raised was the foot that they were attacking till now. And with that attack, the Cyclops also did some damage to itself.

The foot was half dangling, with the cuts going deep into to foot. A few more attacks, and the cyclops wouldn't have a right foot to stand on.
