Chapter 61 Reward From The God Of Light
All of a sudden, another thought struck Jake.
He immediately took a look at his inventory. In there, was a map.
Taking a look at the map, his eyes shone with a brilliance that was comparable to the God of Light himself.
That was because on this map, there were two cross marks. Two places where treasure could be found, apparently.
And these two cross marks were in places that no player could go right now. That was because these two places were in the sea. The terrifying sea which was dominated by sea monsters that could eat players alive without any problem.
Only Tier Four players and above could even try to enter that place. The monsters would be leveled a little lower than the players, but they had the advantage of domain. In the sea, only aquatic based classes were dominant.
A land based class like Jake's could not thrive. That meant that if he ever wanted to get these two parts of Posiden's trident and merge the parts together, he would need an army, or a group of experienced aquatic class players.
Both were unlikely right now.
"I should put this aside. But dropping something like this is too risky. I should put it in a bank or something." Jake thought to himself as he looked around.
It didn't take him long to find an actual bank. Walking in, he smiled at the registrar.
"I am here to open an account and a safe deposit box." Jake smiled.
"Sure sir. That will be a total of-"
"I am going to deposit more than a thousand gold coins here. Do you think that I am going to pay you a fee for the deposit box?" Jake suddenly interrupted the man behind the counter and said coldly.
"You are going to deposit a huge amount? Oh! Forgive me, Baron. I had eyes but could not see. Please forgive my tardiness." the man looked at Jake and he immediately changed his tone.
"Please come with me. I will take you to the VIP rooms." the man said as he jumped out of his corner and led Jake elsewhere.
They walked through the busy bank floor to a hallway that had multiple doors within.
After walking further in, the man stopped in front of a door and they went in. The room was tidy, and all it had was a table and two couches on either side.
Once both parties took a seat, the man took a deep breath.
"How much do you wish to deposit, Baron?" the man asked again.
"Six thousand gold coins. Right now. How much interest will the bank provide me? I also need an inter-kingdom deposit box. I want to be able to check my deposits wherever I am." Jake said.
"As you wish, Baron. The Reich Bank has only one motto. Money is king. We have the best services in the entire world, and we will be honored to have you open an account with us. Out policy is twelve and a half percent interest per year. I presume that you also wish to take a card for easy transactions?" the man asked.
"Yes. Form the account and put this in the deposit box." Jake put the trident arm on the table as well as the six thousand gold coins that he had.
[Bank Account formed in Riech Bank.]
[Account Number - ****************]
Jake smiled. The gold and the trident arm disappeared, and the only thing that remained was a card. He grabbed the card and nodded.

Jake nodded and he pocketed the card, turning around to leave.
"We thank you for doing business with us. Hope you visit us again." the man nodded and he bowed down toward Jake, but Jake was already gone.
"Damn it. I am stretching the clock a little too thin. Just ten minutes left and I have to get to the corner of the city? Looks like I will have to run this time." Jake thought to himself as he started briskly walking.
He was caught up in doing all of this that he didn't realise that time had passed significantly. Now, there was only ten minutes left for him to get to the Guild Meeting. And if he got there just on time, it still wouldn't look good.
He was the guild leader! He had to be there at the very beginning! Not when everyone else arrived!
Ping!
[Where the hell are you? I have hundreds of guild members, half of whom I have never seen before. What is with this blacksmith division?] a message came in from Myriad Arrows.
Jake shook his head as he started running at this point.
Ping!
[I am here. I can't see you here, only a lot of people. Where are you?] a message came from Kierch this time.
Ping!
[Sir, we are all here, and we are waiting for your arrival.]
Message after message poured in, and Jake was not having it.
[I am almost here. I was caught up with something.] Jake replied to all three of them.
[You are kidding me right? You called the entire guild here and you had something else to do? Please don't tell me… you didn't go to Phoenix and tried to court her or something, did you?.] Myriad Arrows messaged.
"That guy is getting a little out of hand. What the hell is he talking about?" Jake shook his head as he brushed that thought away.
The city gates were in sight now. He started running in full speed, and appeared in front of the gates immediately.
Stopping, he took a few seconds to catch a breath. He didn't want everyone to see his pitiful state.
And then, straightening his attire, he took a deep breath.
"Alright. Showtime."
