The two middle-aged men were none other than Reece and Harper whom Lucas saved in the Myriad primordial forest and later swore their allegiance to the Hellmore family.

"Sir Lucas."

Seeing Lucas, Reece and Harper bowed down respectfully.

"You are finally here."

Lucas nodded his head as he asked, "So, did you settle all your things?"

"No...master."

After some hesitation, Harper shook his head with a bitter look on their face.

Lucas sensed that something was definitely wrong. So, he asked about it.

Reece was also bitter as he replied to Lucas.

Harper hurriedly tried to calm Lucas.

Lucas was not surprised by the mission; however, what surprised him was the reward and of course, it tempted him. So, he started listening to the entire story that Josua was saying.

After learning everything about their problem, Lucas looked at the crying young man and said, "Why don't you take others into the manor and get some rest? I will bring back your friend."

Even though Joshua didn't know exactly how powerful Lucas was, according to his Uncle Reece and Uncle Haper, Lucas was powerful and rich. So, he thanked Lucas before bringing the the young ones with him.

"Porter, protect them while they sacrifice the spirit beasts."

"Beck, you do what you said you will be doing today."

Soon, Lucas gave the orders to Porter and Beck before looking at Harper and Reece.

"Let's go. We will go to the Grayeye family."

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas didn't wait for anyone to speak as turned around and started walking in the Grayeye family's direction.

"Sir Lucas, you don't have to do that for us. As long as we join them, we can repay our debt in a month or so."

While walking behind Lucas, both Harper and Reece tried to stop Lucas.

"Let me ask you one thing. Did you lie to me when he swore that you will become my followers?"

Lucas stopped in his tracks as he asked them with a serious look on his face.

"No. We didn't lie, Master Lucas."

Both Reece and Harper hurriedly shook their heads.

"Good. So, as long as I repay your debt, you will have no problem in joining my family, right?"

After some hesitation, Reece and Harper, both nodded their heads.

"Then, don't talk about anything more. I hope you will not make me regret my decision to invest money in you."

After saying these words, Lucas walked straight to the Grayeye family.

"We will give our lives for the Hellmore family."

Reece and Harper's eyes were filled with tears as they replied to Lucas.

Soon, Lucas got two system notifications, making him nod his head as he didn't stop walking until he reached the Grayeye family.

Within no time, Lucas and others reached the Grayeye family's manor.

"Hey, look. Aren't they the leaders of the Lightning squad?"

"Yes. Why do you think they were here? Did they already decide to become the Grayeye family's slaves?"

The two guards looked at Reece and Harper and conversed with each other.

"I am Hellmore family's family head and I am here to meet the Grayeye's family head."

Lucas nonchalantly informed the guards who had a bright look in their eyes when they heard Lucas' words.

"Sir Lucas, our master said you will be allowed to enter the grayeye family whenever you want."

The two guards were respectful while looking at Lucas as they hurriedly led them into the manor.

Lucas was family from the time he came out of the dungeon and later news about him training in the Myriad primordial forest along with some slaves were circulated, making him popular.

Of course, the grayeye family also had an eye on the Hellmore family and wanted to take it under their wing.

So, the family head had given orders to everyone in the family to not mess with Lucas.

However, what he didn't know was that his second son had already commissioned an assassination on Lucas.
