Since the evolution of all spirit beasts was completed, Beck thought they could start planning for tomorrow's fight with the evil spirit beasts.

"Not yet."

Lucas shook his head as he took out a black coloured crystal from his inventory and said, "I have a beast evolution crystal with me. Let's select a spirit beast which needs this crystal the most and at the same time, that spirit beast should be able to help us out tomorrow after its evolution."

Actually, Lucas wanted to double evolve the Bleeding Slayer Lynx; however, he was satisfied with the current battle prowess of that spirit beast. So, he wanted to evolve another spirit beast for tomorrow's fight.

"What? Young master has a beast evolution crystal?"

Beck was shocked only for a moment before remembering that her system gave a beast evolution crystal for finishing the evolution of her first spirit beast.

Similarly, Lucas also finished the evolution of his spirit beasts three times already. So, of course, she felt there was nothing to be shocked about.

"Yes."

Lucas nodded his head as he started thinking of which spirit beast he had to evolve next.

"Let's not evolve the lynxes for now as we could always collect the ingredients for their evolution; instead, think of other spirit beasts."

Lucas didn't think much before eliminating all lynx type spirit beasts because he didn't want to waste a beast evolution crystal on them when he could always evolve them using the ingredients.

Moreover, there were other spirit beasts in the town. So, Lucas asked Beck to think about the advantages and disadvantages of giving it to the spirit beasts other than lynx type spirit beasts.

"Young master, I think Phantom Eagle will be the right choice."

After thinking for a moment, Beck suggested Phantom eagle and explained, "If it becomes a rank 5 spirit beast, it can easily assassinate the rank 5 evil spirit beasts. With that, we can easily clear the remaining evil spirit beasts."

"I thought the same but Phantom eagle has evolved just a month back. That's why I am hesitating a little because the chances of failure are high if I try to evolve a spirit beast once again with such a short duration."

Phantom eagle, is currently a high-level rank 4 spirit beast and excels in stealth and assassination of its target. Even Lucas thought of evolving it; however, the system strongly warned him not to evolve it again for some time.

That's another reason why he didn't want to evolve the Bleeding slayer lynx once again.

"Shadow Dragon is the same as it evolved from shadow wyvern recently. Moreover, Shadow dragon has already became a top-level spirit beast and the chances of failure will be high for it."

Lucas looked at the shadow dragon that was eating the corpses of rank 4 spirit beasts and said his thoughts to Beck.

When Lucas mentioned the shadow dragon, it hoped Lucas would give the beast evolution crystal; however, he became a little disappointed but it didn't stop eating the corpses.

"Even though Blackie is a rank 4 spirit beast, I am not confident whether its evolution path will move towards attack type spirit beast or mount type spirit beast."

Next, he thought about the blackwind panther which was a mid-level rank 4 spirit beast that excels in speed and could be used as a good mount; however, Lucas was hesitating whether he should take a risk.

Unlike the lynx type spirit beasts, Lucas was unable to see the evolution paths for the regular spirit beasts, making him hesitate in choosing the spirit beast.

"The three haunting ethereals are only strong when they are in a group. So, using one beast evolution crystal on one of them would not change their battle prowess a lot."

"Baby winged tiger is already a high-level spirit beast…wait a second."

All of a sudden, Lucas thought which spirit beast would be best in using his beast evolution crystal on.

"Young master, are you planning to use the beast evolution crystal on the baby tiger?"

Since Lucas stopped his words when he spoke about the bay white tiger, Beck thought Lucas changed his mind and wanted to upgrade to it.

"No, it is already a top-level spirit beast and using the beast evolution crystal on it, is a waste of great resources like an evolution crystal."

Lucas shook his head and as he continued saying, "What do you think about his mother?"

"Normal white tiger?"

Beck raised her brows for a moment before nodding her head, "I think it might evolve into a winged white tiger just like its baby."

The reason behind their thinking was since the white tiger was able to give birth to a winged white tiger, its chances of evolving into a winged white tiger are high.

Moreover, it didn't undergo any evolution until now which could be easily said because the white tiger is the basic form just like how elemental lynx was a basic form for the lynxes.

"Can you go and bring her into the guardian lair?"

Lucas ordered Beck to bring the mother white tiger, who nodded her head to go out of the guardian lair.

"Until she comes back, I will upgrade one of my skills."

Since he had just received a level 2 skill enhancement crystal, Lucas decided to use it until she came back with the white tiger.

'I have two skills in my mind that I want to upgrade.'

Lucas was having a troubled time selecting one level 2 skill because he felt the two skills could help him a lot for tomorrow's fight.

'Combo strike…if I upgrade it to level 3, I am confident in killing mid-level rank 5 spirit beasts. Of course, I had to escape and increase the number of combo strikes.' 

'As for the second skill, it will be [Lynx master]. The level 2 [Lynx master] already increases the strength of all the lynxes under my care by a single minor rank.'

'Both are good, but this [Lynx master] skill seems better.'

After thinking for a moment, he chose the skill to upgrade.
