'Before the vampire bats go any deeper into the Viscount grounds, I need to find it.'

Lucas used his new movement technique to search for a spirit beast.

To be specific, he was searching for a spirit beast with thunder or lightning attributes.

'Swoosh'

Since he was in the Viscount grounds and it was getting dark, Lucas was able to find a spirit beast he was searching for.

'Hiss'

A thunder python has just had its delicious meal as Lucas could see a huge bulge in the middle of its body.

Currently, it was lazily sleeping on the ground just in front of its hole and because of the bulge, it was unable to enter the hole

'Even though it was a rank 2 spirit beast, I think it will do just fine for my plan.'

With an evil smile on his face, Lucas jumped onto the thunder python and caught its head before tightening his grip.

"If you dare to use any skills, I will cut off your head."

Lucas emitted the killing intent at the thunder python, making it freeze in fear.

Even though Lucas knew it could not understand his words, he knew that the killing intent emitted by him would be sufficient to momentarily freeze the python.

'Now, it is time to kill a vampire bat.'

Soon, Lucas rushed towards the colony of vampire bats as it was not a hard thing for him to find.

'O...lightning elements in nature….'

Soon, Lucas chanted the 'Thunder bullet' spell and materialized it in front of him.

'Let's kill the last one.'

Even though it would not make much difference in killing a vampire bat, Lucas still chose a vampire bat that was on the very corner of the colony.

Without much surprise, the thunder bullet pierced through the vampire bat he aimed at as it fell to the ground.

          The host has successfully assassinated a rank 3 vampire bat and gained 10 sovereign points.

          Note:- Vampire bats are weak. So, the host is rewarded with fewer sovereign points.

'Step 2 done and now it's time for the final step.'

Lucas didn't waste any time as he rushed towards the vampire bat he killed before chanting another spell.

'Kree keee'

As for the vampire bats in the sky, when they noticed that someone killed one of them, they started going crazy while letting out sharp sounds in all directions.

Because they were unable to find where the attack had come from. So, they tried to land on the ground where their comrade had fallen.

'It is time.'

Lucas, who was expecting that, was ready to execute the final step of his plan.

'Now, go.'

'Swoosh'

Without wasting any time, he threw the thunder python in his hand towards the dead vampire bat with his full strength.

The thunder python flew over the dead vampire bat as it continued flying for another one kilometer.

'Invisibility.'

As soon as he sent the thunder python away, Lucas hid behind a tree before using the intermediate spell to disappear completely from everyone's view.

'Thud'

'Hiss'

The thunder python fell to the ground and felt relieved as Lucas threw it away without killing it.

'Keee kree'

'Kree keee'

However, just as it was feeling relieved, the thunder python saw a colony of vampire bats rushing towards it.

The entire colony of the vampire bats thought that it was the thunder python who killed their friend. So, they started going after it.

'Swoosh'

Without any hesitation, the thunder python didn't hesitate to use its skills to run away from that place.

'Phew...looks like the plan is working.'

Looking at the entire colony of the vampire bats that were more than one kilometer away from Lucas, he heaved a sigh of relief.

'Anyway, I have to complete extracting the skill before its essence is gone. Also, they might come back after they killed the thunder python. I have to find it.'

Lucas knew that the thunder python could not escape the colony of the vampire bats. So, he wanted to finish his main thing before they came back for their friend.

Just as he came out of his hiding and went near the corpse, Lucas received the system notifications.

Of course, Lucas was waiting to complete the process to become a lesser assassin. So, he nodded his head.

        Extracting the vampire bat's skills and modifying them into assassin skills for that host to choose from. Please wait.

Just like when he received skills from sacrificing the thunder behemoth and spring basilisk, the same process repeated; however, here, the skills were modified into Assassin skills instead of Knight skills.

'Ding,

        Modified assassin skills of the vampire bat:-

        1) Bat sense has been modified into Assassin's sense (Passive skill)

        2) Vampire bite has remained the same.

        3) 'My prey' has remained the same.

'Ding,

        Please pick one of the three skills from the above screen.

It didn't take the system much time for the system to analyze and modify the skills.

Unlike Lucas' previous two sacrifices which had five skills each, the vampire bat only has three skills.

'Other than the first skill, I don't have a single clue about the effects of the other two skills.'

Lucas raised his brows because choosing a skill from a set of skills without knowing their true effect is torture.

'Since my senses as an assassin are good and it will only improve with time. So, I will skip the first skill.'

As he already guessed the effects of the first skill, Lucas focused only on the second and third skills.

'I think, for 'vampire bite', I have to bite my target and the last skill….wait a second. The vampire bat will hunt down their prey no matter where they hide or how far they run once they see their prey. Is it because of this skill?'

Soon, Lucas got a rough idea about the last skill and revealed a slight smile on his face.
