Chapter 25: Stolen Inventory

Chapter 25: Stolen Inventory

"!"

Sakim's eyes widened in astonishment as he couldn't help but let out a joyous smile. The joy in his heart was just growing stronger and stronger. He even thought that it really was good to be a youth! If it was before, in his past life, Sakim would never feel such excitement in his old and dull body. But now that he was in his youth, his emotion was simply overwhelming for him. Especially when he found out that there was actually a Stolen Inventory in the System.

But what made him excited was not the Stolen Inventory itself or the HP he had stolen from the Cave Rats earlier, but the first thing he had stolen, the 'Wrath of Heaven!'

In his Stolen Inventory, many slots were displayed. 6 by 9. Below the inventory's graphical representation, the next and previous buttons were displayed signifying that there were more slots available on the next page. But the buttons were currently grey in color as if saying, "I'm not yet available."

But Sakim couldn't care much of it. On the many slots of the inventory, three icons were displayed filling the first three slots. The last two items had an icon of a small ball of blood. There was also a small number indicator on the right bottom of the icons. The second item had 1 number indicator whilst the third item had 2.

When Sakim intended to see their information, a window would pop out. To his little surprise, the second item was actually the 1 HP he had stolen from the Hidden Boss!

[Devil Tree HP]

Restore 1 HP.

Sakim shook his head with a slightly bitter smile. He still remembered his encounter with the dying Hidden Boss. Just by thinking how he thought that he would die at the hands of the Hidden Boss at that moment, could only make Sakim laugh at himself. This 1 HP was really memorable to him. That being said, Sakim had decided to not use this 1 HP no matter what even if it occupied a slot in his Stolen Inventory.

After a moment of remembering the past, Sakim intended to see the last item with the same icon as the second item. Then a new window popped up together with its information.

[Cave Rat HP]

Restore 100 HP.

Seeing the information, Sakim nodded in realization. There was a 2 number indicator below the icon so it only meant that he could use this item twice. But with only 100 HP? Sakim felt that it had no big use for him. It had to be known that he had a few [Healing Leaves] in his inventory. With this, he could restore 1,000 HP. That was 10 greater than this [Cave Rat HP].

In any case, those two items were only for him to subside the excitement he felt right now. Seeing the first item, the item with an icon of blue lightning, Sakim couldn't help but grin. With just a glance, he was more than sure that it was the first thing he had stolen, the [Wrath of Heaven].

He almost died because of this. If not for his passive skill, then who knew what kind of next life he might be in right now. But now that he had stolen it, and it actually turned into an item waiting to be used, Sakim really wanted to try it now. But of course, he wouldn't be so stupid enough just to try this item to kill mere monsters. He should be trying this to boss-type monsters! Or perhaps, he could use this item in life and death battle as the last resort. He should at least have a trump card, right?

Sakim then intended to see what was the description of the item as a new window popped out.

[Wrath of Heaven]

Attack: 10,000.

Electrified: 50% chance, 50% effect, lasts 30 seconds.

Stun: 20% chance, lasts 10 seconds.

"T-that's all?" Sakim frowned slightly. With what he was seeing, his excitement had indeed subsided a bit. Only stats? Was the System too lazy to write a description for his stolen items? He thought that the System would at least write his glorious encounter to Heaven's Wrath. How disappointing.

But thinking about it now, this item was really a good one. It could even deal with massive damage of 10,000. Even with his current HP, he would surely die in a single move from this within a second. He really wondered how did he not die instantly when this Wrath of Heaven embraced him when they first met.

Not only that, but two status effects were also added, Electrified and Stun! According to what he knew, the Electrified status effect could decrease one's attack speed while on the other hand, Stun could leave anyone stunned for a certain amount of time.

In any case, the status effect of these Stun and Electrified were pretty strong. 50% chance and 50% effect that meant to decrease 50% attack speed that could last 30 seconds? This Electrified was really good for a status effect. There was also a 20% Stun chance that could last 10 seconds. This effect was really befitting for the Wrath of Heaven.

It was just a pity for Sakim that he could only use such an item one time. At that moment, he really wished to anger the Heavens multiple times so that he could steal a precious item.

Sigh. Sakim shook his head slowly with a long sigh. Although he wanted to anger the Heavens, he wouldn't dare to try it anymore. Who knew if the Heavens would send out a bolt of much stronger lightning? He might even die before he could even do anything.

With that in mind, Sakim dismissed the System. He then shifted his gaze towards the hidden dungeon with a narrowed eyes and brows knitting together. It was obvious that he wanted to enter the dungeon but was hesitant since it was too dark.

Sakim then walked a bit more closely to the hidden dungeon entrance as he heard low screeches that as if telling him to come if you dare. It appeared that these rats didn't plan to come out anymore.

Sakim frowned. Should he enter? No way! It was too dark. So what if he entered? He might even get killed on the spot without knowing it the moment he stepped foot in that passageway.

Sakim pondered for a moment. But when he thought that leaving the area was the only option and just go to the Beginner's Village instead, he suddenly thought of something wonderful. He couldn't help but smile a bit.

What if it was too dark inside? What if there were so many rats inside? And what if there might be a trap inside?

If he couldn't enter, then why should he bother himself entering?

With a wide grin, Sakim raised his both hands. And with both of his hands resonating to that of a gun, he pointed it against the entrance of the hidden dungeon. Sakim could feel it. The terrified rats inside the cave. Silence had even triumphed inside the hidden dungeon as he could even hear the heartbeat of the rats accompanied by bated breaths and the sound of a gulp of saliva echoing from time to time. It was as if music to Sakim's ears though.

"You don't want to come out huh." Sakim muttered with his grin remaining on his lips as he added, "Then meet your guest!"

Go Die!

Droplets of blood continuously came out from both of the tips of Sakim's forefinger as it rained down in the passageway. Cries of agonies then soon followed accompanied by a flurried steps that didn't know where to go.

Sakim didn't stop using his skill. He didn't even care if he would hit a rat or not. All he did was fire all over the place as if he was using a Gatling Gun!

Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta!
