Chapter 54: Top Brass of GAA
Skytree City, Global Adventurer Association headquarters.
The main building was a huge cone-shaped structure, and other buildings connected to it all around.

It was the biggest and most advanced structure on the Earth, located in the largest city—Skytree City.
At the top of the headquarters building, in the restricted area, a person emerged from the secret elevator.
He was 6’5 feet tall with a black beard and mustache, paired with short black hair and a muscled figure. Although he was seventy years old, his build, aura, and look gave off a youthful vigorous, and powerful vibe.
Grand Admiral Rudra, a frontline adventurer. He wasn’t listed on the Global Adventurers Leaderboard as he never participated in competitions, but there was no denying that he was one of the most powerful adventurers with unknown depths.
What most people didn’t know was that he was also one of the few who had attained supernatural disposition even before the Grimworld’s tutorial descended on Earth.
He already had all of his Chakra points opened, and he even had opened one of his hidden chakra points unknowingly because of his daily meditation and training.
He was always at the frontline and the highest contributor to clearing the Labyrinths. He became GAA’s Grand Admiral to oversee the new military might of GAA and nurture upcoming Adventurers.
…
Grand Admiral Rudra arrived in front of a door that projected a robotic face, the leading AI of GAA.
"Welcome, Grand Admiral. Please give me a sample of your Mana to confirm your identity."
Grand Admiral Rudra infused a bit of Mana on a tablet stuck on the door, which lit up slightly and a second later, the AI spoke, "Confirmed. Welcome back, Grand Admiral Rudra."
He entered the hall with multiple screens lit up all around, and a man looking in his forties with mixed black and red hair was already sitting there, eating a pizza and drinking while watching the screens.
"Hey, pops, you’re back? Come here, I found someone interesting."
Grand Admiral Rudra vanished from his spot and appeared right behind the man, his palm in a slapping motion as it squarely landed on the man’s head.
"Damn, that hurts, old man! But I took it, so let’s rest the case. I’m sorry for not going to clear that dungeon."
The man turned to look at the old man while rubbing his head. He had purple-blue eyes with intensity of lightning and a lean-muscled build with a height of 6’1.
Aryan Deva, the son of Grand Admiral Rudra Deva—the 3rd rank holder in the Global Leaderboard and the strongest Adventurer of GAA…at least based on the Global Leaderboard rank.
"Aryan, this is the last time. If you fucking ignore my orders again, we are going to have a serious duel."
Aryan felt a chill as he got up and fawningly smiled, "Come on, Dad. Wasn’t that dungeon cleared just fine? There was no need for me to go there."
"Anyway, sit here. I want you to look at someone."
Rudra snorted and sat down on the main chair before leaning back and looking at the front screen.
However, in just a few seconds, his pupils shrank.
Aryan saw his father becoming still and grinned, "Told ya, pops. I found someone interesting. Those top guilds have top-notch young blood talents, the so-called Super Rookies. It’s time we also have someone like that, you know?"
On the screen was none other than Almond, going past groups of monsters while leaving behind cut-off bodies of humanoid monsters—Corrupted Priests and Priestesses who were over two meters tall with darkness and death attribute skills.
Almond soon stopped and absorbed some monsters’ spirits, increasing his stats before he continued moving.
"By the way, this is his footage of three hours ago. I just arrived an hour ago and asked Astra about the killings of Adventurers by other Adventurers and saw him. He is in the inner circle of the Labyrinth right now, where we don’t have any Arcane Eyes, so we can’t observe him."
Hearing that, Rudra frowned, "He killed others?"
"Yes, but…it’s better for you to see it. Astra, show the target’s earliest footage," Aryan commanded the A.I Astra.
Upon getting Aryan’s command, the front screen changed as it showed Almond cornered at the pillar in the starting area’s stone chambers by three young men.
Rudra’s brows furrowed more. "We have to improve the Arcane Eyes further. We need to hear the sounds, too. How’s it going in that regard?"
"We already got the Arcane Eyes with sound capture enchantment in development. We’ll deploy some tomorrow."
Rudra nodded. Although he couldn’t hear anything, the clarity of the video was ultra high definition and from all angles due to the nature of how Arcane Eyes worked.
He could see their lips and could interpret what they were talking about.
"Who is that brat’s father?" Rudra asked when he ’heard’ what Jacob said about learning from his father not to leave any trouble and ordered Seyung to kill Almond.
When he saw Seyung slitting Almond’s throat, Rudra coldly snorted.
"His father is Draven. You know him," Aryan grinned. "That fellow is hanging at the top 90s in the Global leaderboard and seeking to grow his guild."
"Frostar city?" Rudra raised his eyebrows. "That’s where Dagon is, right?"
"Yeah," Aryan said, his smile widening. "Well, this young guy and Dagon have quite the connection as well. Astra, fast-forward a bit."
"Dagon’s daughter is going to Firefly. I wish we could get her here," Rudra sighed and continued to watch. "We need some more young, talented blood."
Rudra saw Almond suddenly floating with mysterious energy oozing out of him, surprised. "He triggered a special condition. That makes him the 6th one to do this that entered our radar."
"True. I’m pretty sure there are more people who triggered special conditions and acquired better classes," Aryan nodded. "The ones we know have gotten A-rank class, S-rank class, and even one SS-rank class. This young lad’s new class is no less than S-rank, I’m sure of it."
As Aryan finished speaking, he commanded the AI, "Astra, fast-forward and show us some fights and the instances where he takes out the unique items," Aryan commanded after
"Unique items?" Rudra raised an eyebrow, "Is it related to his class?"
"Indeed. If I have to guess, his class is pretty powerful. Maybe S or SS-rank. It could even be SSS-rank. From what I’ve gathered, he can create explosions anywhere at any point of space within ten meters of himself, which increased later to twenty meters. The explosions can be quite unique too, and I’ve inferred it’s related to monsters he had killed."
"He can also create some unique items, which are frankly quite powerful from what I observed. And lastly, he can summon."
Rudra soon saw Alfred and was surprised, "A humanoid summon. Interesting."
Aryan told Astra to fast-forward more, but Rudra interrupted him with a snort, "Stop it, Aryan. Astra, listen to me. Set the motion speed to three times and show me everything you’ve captured about this person."
"Understood."
"Well then, I am going out, Pops. You enjoy the show."
"If you even think about stepping onto the first floor of the Labyrinth to see him, I’ll skin you alive."
Aryan stopped at the exit door and released a hollow laugh, "Come on, Dad. I’m not going to do that. I’m quite scared of him to meet him there. He is practically invincible on the first floor right now. Anyway, the second cycle of Labyrinth started two hours ago, so I am going to the 10th Floor."
"Good."
Aryan left.
Meanwhile, Grand Admiral Rudra ordered Astra while watching Almond’s adventure, "Astra, get some rice and dal-tadka for me."
"Also, call President Lincoln and put him on my call," he added.
"Understood."
