NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 274: The Plan Is Ready

Chapter 274: The Plan Is Ready

"Damn," Bloom exclaimed in fake shock, "this is really a blessing! If I can get myself such a deal, I might pay whatever you want."

"Hahaha, I'd love to have such a deal but it's really impossible, at least for me," Godar shook his head in regret, "the main item responsible for this is locked away in the deepest vault under the mayor's mansion. No one can get a piece of it, or even lay an eye over it."

"That's a real regret," Bloom controlled his emotions perfectly before adding, "I'll entrust you with this little one here. If you gave me a good price then I'd auction more like it next time."

"I won't disappoint your trust, rest assured my esteemed lord."

Bloom wasn't bluffing as the price he would get from here exceeded the total value of any gear he got from that stingy mayor by folds. Even his Pandora box paled in front of such a good price.

"So the evidence is locked in the vault," once he exited the auction house he gazed upon the distant mayor's mansion. "But the question is how to get in there?"

He started to take a walk around the mansion, slowly studying it. "The security here is so tight," he sighed as he found at least two hundred stationed guards at all times inside the big garden of the mansion coupled with many smaller groups of patrols around the palace.

"I need just the right excuse to enter," he took out the ticket he received as he thought to go there and befriend some high ups. "Oh," yet when he read the content of this invitation his eyes shimmered with bright light.

"This is much better indeed," he found that this privilege auction would be held in the mansion of the mayor. Even the auction itself was sponsored by the mayor, making Bloom sneer.

"So I'll come to you tonight, and that item will be mine."

He turned around and went towards the nearest hotel before changing his outer form to another shape. The one he took was the shape of Dockrey himself, and named himself Dockrey the fool.

Bloom then didn't rush to go out to the mansion. The time of the auction was set at night, precisely at nine o'clock. "I need to see if I can find anything that can help."

It was such a long time for him to explore the auction house of the light and dark camp. The light camp auction didn't bring anything out of value in reality.

"Most of these items are directed to limit the power of any dark monster, player, or NPC hmm with my title what's there to be afraid of?"

He closed the auction interface before opening that of the dark camp.

"This is more interesting," he muttered the moment he spotted some really useful and sinister items being sold there.

"Powder of illusion: special dark item. Needs one hundred thousand dark points to be used. an invisible powder that can be released silently by a single click and will prevail over a limited area. The maximum area to cover can't exceed the level of the player using the powder multiplied by ten. Anyone inside this place with a level not exceeding ten levels of player will be subjected to an illusion. Duration: Ten minutes. Player using this powder is immune to the effect of it but can't control or dispel it."

"Horn of deafness: special dark item. Needs one hundred thousand dark points to be activated. The horn has to be blown by the player and each horn blow will create a deafening roar that even exceeds dragon roars. Anyone hearing the roar will be stunned for one minute. Can affect anyone with level difference with player no more than twenty level."

"Carpet of gravity: special item. Needs one hundred thousand dark points or five hundred gold coins to be activated. The player can preside over the carpet and activate it with a single click. Everything in the radius of player level multiplied by ten will have a reversed gravity effect. The carpet can fly with the player and at most an equal number to the player's level with speed that's half his normal speed. Anywhere the player moves to will be affected by this effect. There is no limit to the level of players, NPCs, or monsters to be affected by this gear, yet it's only active indoors and not outdoors. Duration: each five minutes will consume one hundred thousand dark points or five hundred thousand gold coins to be keep it running."

"Amazing indeed amazing," Bloom was too much excited by these three gears and wasn't even fazed by their astronomical prices. "The powder of illusion is auctioned for five million dark points, the horn of deafness is auctioned at four million, and the carpet of gravity is auctioned at seven million not too shady for such rare and very handy items."

He hurriedly checked his dark points. Until now he didn't consume much of these points, and during that time he kept gaining passive points from his quests.

"Fifty million hahaha, I'm really a tycoon," he couldn't help but laugh, "who said money isn't power? C'mon, let me spank and slap you for that," he laughed for a couple of minutes before starting to bid.

"Ten million for each reasonable bid," he didn't play with cold feet here and instantly raised the price to hit the wall of ten million dark points each. He knew he could get an item or even two with a slightly lower price, but he didn't care.

All he wanted was to gain them and then be reassured about his next mission.

"Got them!" he jumped in the air while cheering for his luck, "damn those dark auction house quests they are making me unstoppable, hahaha."

He glanced at the three items and was itching to try them. "Not now," yet he stored them away, "I didn't want to cause anything that might attract unneeded suspicion."
