Hearing Qiao Yingzi confirm the identity of the motorbike rider, Huang Zhitao turned her curious gaze toward Su Bai.

At her words, the crowd dispersed swiftly.
Li Meng turned her attention to Su Bai, who stood out starkly in the group.
“Su Bai, you’re not off the hook either. Come with me to the office. Riding a motorbike is dangerous for a high school student. I’ll need to contact your guardian.”

“No, I’m here because of Su Bai,” Song Qian replied, though mentioning his name involuntarily brought back memories of the previous night.
“Su Bai? You mean the boy staying with you?”
“Yes. Teacher Li Meng said he rode a motorbike worth over 2 million yuan to school. It’s too dangerous,” Song Qian explained with a sigh.
“Two million?” Tong Wenjie was astonished.
“Yes. His parents spoil him too much.”
Curious about this motorbike-riding student, Tong Wenjie wondered how someone with such an affluent background would adjust academically after returning from overseas.
Her own son’s grades were already giving her enough headaches—Do I really have the energy to worry about someone else?
By the time Song Qian and Tong Wenjie reached the office, Ji Yangyang’s mother, Liu Jing, had also arrived.

Su Bai’s issue, however, was straightforward: he needed to stop riding his motorbike to school—at least until after the college entrance exams.
“Ms. Song, since Su Bai is living with you, please keep a closer eye on him. A senior riding such an expensive motorbike to school isn’t appropriate, not to mention it’s quite dangerous,” Li Meng said.
Song Qian, once a teacher at Spring Breeze High herself, was well-acquainted with Li Meng.
“Don’t worry, Teacher Li. I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again. He won’t be riding the motorbike anymore,” Song Qian assured her.
“Thank you, Ms. Song. Please accompany him while he takes the motorbike back home—just in case,” Li Meng added.
“No problem,” Song Qian agreed. She then turned to Su Bai. “Xiao Bai, let’s go. We’ll take the motorbike back.”
Su Bai nodded without complaint. Since Song Qian had been summoned to the school, he had no choice but to comply. Given the proximity of Song Qian’s home to the school, walking to class in the future would suffice.
On the way home, Song Qian asked, “When did you get that motorbike? How did your parents even agree to buy you something so expensive? It’s incredibly dangerous. You’re still so young—you shouldn’t be riding something like that.”
Knowing Song Qian’s resolute personality, Su Bai realised that if she disapproved, the motorbike would likely be relegated to a collector’s item.
“Aunt Song Qian, I’m already an adult. Didn’t you realise that last night?” Su Bai retorted with a sly grin.
