MMORPG: Crowd Control

Chapter 169 Cecile

Once the commotion was clear and the security guards bid their farewell to Tang Qiaolian.

She proceeded to stare at Cecile, blocking her view of what was inside the room.

"Anyway, what kind of pleasure do I have to cause the Vice Leader of the Aries Guild to come all the way here to see me?" Tang Qiaolian sneered coldly.

Cecile twitched her mouth.

She had an expression that showed 'bitch, can't you tell what I'm trying to do?' look at her face.

Nevertheless, she didn't wish to break the facade too early so she smiled brightly at her.

"Well, I just wanted to come here to congratulate you for obtaining the first clear achievement." She said with much suppression of her emotion.

It was clear that she was still angry and jealous about the first clear achievement being snatched by her.

Of course, Tang Qiaolian also knew this so she would not miss this beautiful opportunity to gloat at her.

"Why thank you, Cecile. You know, it was actually kind of easy getting the first clear. My guildmates were all dumbfounded by how easy it was." Tang Qiaolian smiled widely.

'Calm your emotions, Cecile. This bitch isn't worth it to be angry.' Cecile exclaimed inwardly.

Keeping a smile on her face, Cecile asked, "I'm glad you have amazing guildmates. So are you going to let me stay outside here or are you going to invite me in?"

And she continued, "Or could it be you're afraid that I might witness something else?"

Since her initial plan of sneaking in was voided thanks to the security guard system here, then she might as well reveal everything. In the end, no matter the response of Tang Qiaolian, she would have achieved her goal.

If she refused to let her in, then her thoughts were correct. There was indeed some under-the-table deal between Miracle Wing and the Cancer Guild.

And if she does let her in, then she could see who was so important that Tang Qiaolian would come all the way here to celebrate instead of focusing on Magnolia.

In either scenario, she would still get to know the answer that she wanted.

Meanwhile, Tang Qiaolian sighed softly as she stepped aside for a moment.

"I didn't know you were such a busybody, but since you came all the way here. Then I can't possibly be a terrible host, right?" Tang Qiaolian smiled when she noticed Liu Lingxin coming from afar.

Cecile also noticed Liu Lingxin and she became even more suspicious. 'Two of them are here at the same time… just who the hell could make them both arrive here to meet?'

"Sorry, did I make you wait long?" Liu Lingxin seemed to be out of breath as she showed an apologetic expression.

However, her expression changed when she noticed Cecile was also present.

"What's this bitch doing here?" She said it aloud even though it was meant to be on her mind.

"..."

Instantly, the atmosphere became quite awkward after the comments of Liu Lingxin.

"Ahem, since we have an unexpected guest that seemed to be eager to join us, why don't we all head inside first?" Tang Qiaolian faked a cough and swiftly changed the conversation.

"Agreed, I'm quite hungry right now," Cecile followed along, pretending that she didn't hear Liu Lingxin's comment.

All of them knew how they referred to each other in private, but there wasn't a need to say it in public, lest it would ruin their images.

pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ Although Liu Lingxin was a bit displeased to have an outsider join them for dinner, she decided to keep it to herself.

As they headed inside, Cecile smiled slightly at Liu Lingxin. "I didn't expect to see you dress up so nicely and put on some makeup, Liu Lingxin."

"None of your business," Liu Lingxin ignored her comment since she knew she was most likely trying to pry for information.

Being a vice leader for Miracle Wing in Magnolia wasn't easy. Without some brains, it would be hard to manage the other guild members, much less a rival.

Ignoring her question outright, Liu Lingxin quickly greeted the lone man that was sitting at the table calmly.

"Lei Zhen, we meet again," Liu Lingxin smiled brightly as she waved her hand.

Ever since she realized the man that patched up her injuries was someone that Tang Qiaolian constantly talked about and that his identity was the son of Lei Tuoming, her admiration for him had increased gradually.

Despite the fact that Lei Zhen was revealed to be a foster son and wasn't blood-related to Lei Tuoming, that doesn't mean he wasn't taught by the legend, Lei Tuoming himself.

"Oh, so the mysterious person was you, Liu Lingxin." Lei Zhen swiftly recalled her facial appearance and greeted her back.

For games, his memories might not be good, but for other stuff, he remembered it clearly.

"Hehe, I still haven't thanked you properly for last time." Liu Lingxin said and sat on the chair next to him.

"Although you charged me last time, I doubt that was enough to show my gratitude." She added.

"You're Tang Qiaolian's friend, so there's no need for that. I already owe her too much." Lei Zhen chuckled and shook his head.

His eyes then focused on Cecile, who had been staring at him like some eagle, preying on its food.

"And this is?" Lei Zhen asked. It was his first time meeting Cecile, so he had no recollection of her.

"Hello, my name is Cecile, and you might know me more as the vice leader of the Aries Guild." Cecile introduced herself, and her eyes remained fixated on Lei Zhen.

'So this is the famous abandoned young master that was ousted by the Lei Enterprise huh. Doesn't seem to be very special.' She exclaimed inwardly.

Lei Zhen might not be a mind reader, but he could subtly understand the gaze and expression on her face.

"Oh, so it's the vice leader of the Aries Guild. It's an honor to meet with you." Lei Zhen smiled, extending his hand out for a handshake.
