Greatest Streamer System

Exiting his VR Capsule, Max was greeted by Lily holding a towel for him.

"Good work."

Taking the towel from her, he smiled brightly, "Thanks."

It was nice having someone taking care of you without asking them to. He wiped his sweat as Lily kept looking at him with a slightly flushed face. She averted her gaze every now and then.

It was a bit awkward, so he decided to start a conversation.

"Have you finished your song? You planned to create 5 or 6 for your album, right? Is it going well?"

"Hmn…" Lily shook her head, "I haven't yet. When you live-streamed earlier, I got a call from my brother. He told me about the family party date and location."

"Oh, finally?" Max raised his eyebrows.

He would finally meet with Lily's family. He didn't know how they would see him, considering he was just an orphan that rose from streaming. However, he would make the best impression if possible.

"When is it?"

"It's on Saturday night, June 20th." She answered, "The location is Lime Grand Hotel. This city is my family's hometown, that's why the party is always held at the same place."

'5 days after my extra quest finished. I wonder if it's a coincidence or if the system knows something more. After knowing this, I can somehow guess what I will get from the mysterious reward. Maybe a set of branded suits or something that will get me accepted by her family.'

"We have to get you a suit soon. The party will be held in less than 2 weeks."

After Max finished showering, both sat on the bed and talked about the party plan. Following that, Lily made an appointment at the boutique she frequented for tomorrow. They had to measure their sizes and choose the perfect fabric for their clothes.

The next day, Max and Lily took a taxi to the boutique located in the shopping district near the mall. This district was filled with luxurious stores that not many often frequent. The price was so extraordinary that not many people could afford it with a month's pay.

Max didn't mind spending 10K today just to get his suits and Lily's dress. It was also an investment in case he was invited to a party with a sponsor in the future.

Not that he had a sponsor now, but Michael told him they would arrive sooner than later. He was unsure if that was truly the case, but he trusted his manager.

Arriving at the boutique, Max looked at the entrance. Various samples were displayed, and all of them were of high quality. The price tag on the left chest showed the range from $1,500 to $5,000.

His poor soul told him not to come into the store. Save your money! It wasn't worth it. There were ready-made suits that cost only $100 to $500 and were already good enough to attend parties in the future!

'No, this is needed. I need this one.' He convinced himself and looked at Lily.

"Shall we enter?"

"Un." Lily nodded and both of them entered.

The bell installed on the door rang when they entered. The employee, ready to serve, immediately answered them.

"Welcome to Miracle Boutique!" She greeted them with a great business smile, which only deepened when she saw Lily.

"Ah, Miss Spencer. We've been waiting for your arrival. Our team is ready to take your order in the VIP room. And I believe you're Mr. Charles? It's nice to meet you.

My name is Georgina Gill. It's a pleasure for us to help you find your perfect suit."

The greeting was so professional that Max couldn't help but smile back.

"I am counting on you. This is my first suit, so I want it to be perfect."

"Naturally! We will do our best to meet your expectations." Georgina clapped her hands in front of her chest before gesturing them to enter. "Now, now… The gentleman please head to the left while Young Miss to the right. We will measure you first and hear your opinion about the suit and dress you prefer."

They followed Georgina's instructions and entered their respective VIP rooms. Max didn't know whether he deserved this treatment. However, knowing he came with Lily, he had to get used to this. The Spencer Family was too big and famous not to be recognized by luxury stores.

When he entered the room, he was greeted by a man who immediately took his measure. He was asked a few questions regarding the suit he wanted to make, from the material and how it looked.

Everything took him around 30 minutes to finish. The man said the suit would be done in around 3 days to a week and cost him $3,500. A really expensive suit, as some materials were made with genuine leather instead of a synthetic one.

When he was out, he noticed that Lily was still inside her own room, taking her time. He decided to wait in the area specially prepared for it and enjoyed the free beverage for the customer.

Meanwhile, Lily was taking this seriously. She asked various things to the designer, who was also excited to follow her request. They only finished an hour later, and the designer looked pretty happy with it.

"Wow, Young Miss. This is great. A bit bolder than usual, but still pretty casual and elegant for a family party. I believe your boyfriend will fall for you again if you wear this dress! It will be $22,500 with the accessories ordered. Is that okay for you?"

Hearing the designer's assurance, Lily blushed slightly. Her cheek turned red as she nodded.

"Un. Please do your best."

"I will!" The designer exclaimed.

Lily exited the room and met up with Max after, and he proceeded to pay for both of them, not knowing how much Lily's dress cost, even though Lily said she would pay for herself.

It was only when he heard how much Lily's dress cost did his brain short-circuit for a while. However, as he already promised to pay for her, he still proceeded with the payment.

'22 grand for a dress… What kind of dress is it? Is it made from human skin?' He wondered as they left the boutique. 'Thankfully, I just got my pay at the start of June so I can pay it. I have to work harder from now on. Maybe also investing in business to get more money.'

Just as they said, having a girlfriend made one change. And Max also changed since he dated Lily. He became greedier and wanted more money to make their life comfortable.
