419.5 The definitely not April Fools chapter
Alright. Another day means more packs for me to open. Still in search of my Rainbow Dragon and Vennominaga.
Those were my thoughts when I woke up, but little did I know, this day wasn’t going to be like that, as when I opened up Pack Opener, something strange was waiting for me.

I naturally just went for the Open Packs tab, but that is when things went wrong.

“... umm, what?” I muttered aloud. “What the frick is that?”
I then quickly hit the Retry button, but again, same error.
I tried again and again for what must have been 50 times, before finally something happened.

“... wow. Almost makes me want to not open any packs at all. … but at the same time, this does kind of feel like a massive lottery. Not only hoping for a good card, but also for a good set.”
So with those thoughts, I hit the button.
… Yeah … That isn’t normal at all. The F is going on? These are Pokemon card. Why did I get Pokemon cards?
I mean, I suppose my skill is called ‘Pack Opener’ and not ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! Pack Opener’, but still. It has always just been Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
… Well, whatever. I have a Pikachu, so let’s summon it.
I got the card out of the Collection and quickly summoned out my new Pokemon.
After playing with my Pikachu a bit, I decided to give my corrupted Pack Opener another go, because honestly speaking, I don’t mind getting a few Pokemon cards. Maybe I can even get a Charizard.
… okay. I’m not sure if Magic: The Gathering is better or worse than Pokemon. I mean, some of this cards honestly seem super useful.
Just think about it. Install Flight for instant access to the Mana Flight skill. Install Island for water affinity. Stream of Life for healing, Weakness for weakening opponents. I could even destroy all islands with Tsunami.
But still. This is random as anything. First Pokemon, then MTG. What is next? Vanguard Cardfight?
Nope. Digimon this time. But I do like what I got. I mean, Imperialdramon and Rosemon are both Ultimate level. … or I guess Mega level if you happen to live in America, but I refuse the acknowledge the US dub of Digimon, because it is a joke.
… But honestly, I think I’ll just stop here. Pack Opener seems to be completely broken and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if all these non-Yugioh cards will get deleted when it gets its act together. So I think I’ll head outside, play with my Pikachu, ride my Imperialdramon and maybe have a spar with Gray Ogre before these cards disappear.
