You're My Only Star

As Song Xing Xing went into the changing room with the shop attendant, Celine walked over to Lu Xun and stared at him for a long time. 

Lu Xun let out a dry cough. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"I'm just surprised, that's all." Celine flashed him a smile. She had seen Lu Xun's interaction with his girlfriend. From the look at it, it seemed that the two of them were serious. 

Lu Xun did not have to ask to know what was in Celine's mind. In truth, he was as surprised as Celine. Previously, he was still worried about getting into a new relationship. He did not think that Song Xing Xing and he would get together very well. Lu Xun was glad that he had decided to give himself a chance.

"You are serious about Miss Song, are you?"

"Mhm… She's a good girl."

"It's good that you are moving on. Lu Xun, it's good to see that you are happier now." Celine fiddled with her phone and spoke, "Right. Do you mind if I post on my moments that you come here to visit?"

"Go ahead. But don't mention anything about my girlfriend. She's a shy girl."

"Un. I know. I won't say a word." Celine made a gesture to zip her lips. "Let's just take a selfie. It's rare for President Lu Xun to show up at my place. I have to use this opportunity to promote my shop."

Lu Xun laughed.

Celine raised her phone, took a selfie with Lu Xu together, and started to compose something on her phone. A few seconds after she hit the post button, the people in her circle started to like and comment on their pictures together.

After looking at a few comments, her expression began to change. Her fingers moved towards the name and clicked the delete friend button. She did not have any interaction with Anna for years. Celine had forgotten that Anna was still in her circle of friends.

"What's wrong?"

Celine snapped out of her thoughts and placed her phone on the desk. "Nothing." She hesitated for a while and spoke, "Lu Xun, can I ask you something?"

Seeing her hesitation, Lu Xun could almost guess what she was going to ask about. "Go ahead."

"I know that you are not active in our group chat," Celine spoke. "I was just wondering if you are aware of what Anna had said about you."

"I've heard. Yu Han had told me about it previously."

Celine let out a breath of relief. "It's good that you are aware of it." She was worried that Lu Xun would be unaware of what Anna had spoken about him to their circle of friends. 

Years ago, they were all close. Celine and Shi An Na were good friends. However, the moment Shi An Na had done something so cruel, almost everyone chose to side with Lu Xun. Only a few would still stay by Shi An Na's side.

They had thought that their story had ended after the breakup. Who would have thought that Shi An Na had returned and would not stop pestering Lu Xun ever since? 

These days, Celine had heard that Anna was accusing Lu Xun of causing her to lose her job. 

They have all know Lu Xun for years. After he had broken up with Anna, Lu Xun only wished that he would never have any sort of entanglement with her. No matter how angry he was at her, Lu Xun would never do something as causing Anna to lose her job. In fact, he should be happy that she had moved to T Country. At least, they would never bump into each other again.

The two friends continued to chat about a lot of things. After a while, Song Xing Xing came out from the changing room and walked over to Lu Xun.

"Is everything alright?" Lu Xun watched his girlfriend nodded and turned to Celine. "When can it be done?"

"Don't worry. Your girlfriend had a clear idea about what she wanted in her dress. It should not be too hard to work on it," Celine said. "I will call you when it's done. Then, you can bring your girlfriend to try on the dress."

"Mmm… I know." 

After exchanging a few more words, the couple finally left. The sky has already turned dark when they stepped out of the store. After putting on her seat belt, Song Xing Xing turned to Lu Xun and asked, "Where are we going next?"

"Let's go and have dinner together," Lu Xun said. "Just now, Celine had recommended a good place. Do you want to go and try?"

"What kind of place is it?"

"A Japanese restaurant."

Song Xing Xing thought about the privacy they would have at the restaurant and the variety of food that she could try. Her eyes brightened up. "Alright." She quickly agreed. Anyway, it was already late. She would be too lazy to return home and cook.

Lu Xun chuckled, knowing well that his girlfriend should be thinking about food.

The place that Celine had recommended was not too far from her store. After five minutes of driving, Lu Xun finally pulled over at a parking spot.

They walked over to the restaurant and were greeted by the waiter at the door. Fortunately, the private room was still available. The two of them sat down at the table and ordered a few foods. Of course, Song Xing Xing could not stop but ordered her favorite seafood items.

Their food arrived a while later. Song Xing Xing saw the fried prawn on the table and clipped it with her chopsticks. 

Seeing that someone was eating her favorite food happily, Lu Xun helped her to pull the plate closer. He had never thought that watching someone eating happily was also a form of happiness.

After eating until her stomach was full, the two of them left the restaurant and decided to have a walk together. Afraid that they might be recognized as they walked on the street, Lu Xun could only wear a face mask to hide. They walked along the riverside near the place and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.

The two of them stopped after a while. In a slight dark corner, the couple watched as a group of people was busking on the sidewalk. 

As there were many people around, Lu Xun held Song Xing Xing tightly. He stood behind her with his arms wrapped her waist tightly and his chin rested on her shoulder. With this position where no one could see his face, Lu Xun pulled his mask under his chin. 

The two of them continued to discuss the performance just like this. 

After a while, a mischievous thought came to his mind. 

When Song Xing Xing turned around to say something, Lu Xun moved his face closer and caught her lips in a kiss.

Her eyes went wide at his sudden move. Before Song Xing Xing could respond, Lu Xun had already pulled away.. A smile curled on his lips as he watched her dazed expression.
