Once he had a meal, Lu Lijun contacted Noah and instructed him, "I will be working from office here. You have to take care of matters there."

Noah, being an obedient assistant, agreed and heard Lu Lijun again, "I will make sure to send Jake to you."

Noah frowned, "I appreciate your kindness, but if you want me to pay attention to the work, I would rather you throw your kindness out of the window."

Lu LIjun chuckled, "Isn't your ass missing him?"

Noah frowned, "Just because your starving cock finally got what it was dying for, you don't have to worry about my ass."

"If your ass starve for long because I am overloading you with work, and you turn crazy, it would be unproductive for our work," Lu Lijun countered, suppressing his laugh, "As your boss and your best friend, I shall care about your needs as well. I would be a good boss and send your human medicine to you."

"Then don't blame me for not finishing the work on time," Noah spat out, "It's on you for sending that horny prince to me."

"Sure." Lu Lijun hung up the call, a wide smile painting his lips. "You sure talk dirty, not just with me but with your friends as well." He heard Jiang Yuyan, who was now ready in a fresh set of clothes after resting for a while.

"This is how we talk, no shame," Lu Lijun replied, "And it's fun to tease them."

"Yeah, I can see that. How open you three friends are that you can even kiss your partner in front of them and they won't even bat an eye." She shook her head, "Bunch shameless men."

"When it comes to showing affection to you, I mind no one, not even our family," he circled his hands around her, "I am heading to the office. There is still important work to take care of."

"Thank god you finally remembered you have work to do," she held him as well, her expressions turned softer, "Don't be late."

"I won't. "What would you do at home?" he asked. "Sister Qin Xiu would be delivering a baby soon so I will help mother and aunt Su Hui to make preparations and be with them in case we have to take her to the hospital in the coming week or so?" She infomed. "It's already that month?" he asked in surprise, "Days passed by so soon."

"You were busy working so you didn't realize."

"No wonder brother Lu Han is stuck in the home like glue and works from home."

"And you realized it now," she offered a displeased gaze. "To make up for it, I won't go anywhere outside the city and welcome the baby together with the entire family."

She smiled at him, "It's going to be the first baby of the new generation of the Lu family. Everyone is already so excited."

"They will be excited for when we will be having our baby," he commented, his hand moving to her belly. A light blush covered her cheek, only to hear him again, "Who knows I have just made one inside here."

She slapped his hand, feeling embarrassed at his words, "It's already noon. Don't be late anymore for office," and attempted to push him out of the room. Both of them came downstairs where Lu Han and Qin Xiu had entered the drawing room after strolling in the garden for a while. Qin Xiu, having a huge belly, walked slower while Lu Han helped her holding her hand, supporting her to walk. Seeing Lu Lijun, Qin Xiu smiled, "Finally you are back, Lijun? I thought my baby won't even get to experience a shadow of his uncle till he/she comes out. I want my baby to be as smart as his uncle."

"Every member of the Lu family is smart. I am sure this little one would be the same," Lu Lijun replied. "That's true," she agreed as she sat on the sofa with her husband's help, she exhaled out of her mouth. "I am staying here until the baby is delivered," Lu Lijun told Qin Xiu to which she offered a smile and he turned to Jiang Yuyan, "See you in the evening," and pecked on her lips. She offered him a warning glare but he smiled and left. Qin Xiu giggled, "He is still so handful, isn't he?"

Jiang Yuyan could only nod, "Stubborn just like any other men in the Lu family," she passed her gaze at Lu Han, as if she was referring to him as well. "If we were not stubborn, how would we be able to get such amazing women for us? The persistence works," Lu Han said with pride. "And shameless as well," Jiang Yuyan commented to which Qin Xiu agreed. —-

In the office, in absence of Noah, Xiao Min took his place and worked along with Lu Lijun. "What's the situation here?" Lu Lijun asked, sitting in his chair after so long.

"Our sudden actions and changes in plans have left everyone stunned and I am sure Magnus' and their supporters are not having it easy now," Xiao Min informed. "And I feel they are unusually quiet with their actions now."

"Maybe trying to figure out a new way," Lu Lijun replied and resumed his work, "He won't be getting any way out."

Xiao Min entirely trusted Lu Lijun's words as in the past month he had successfully got rid of the threats and secured the company's position despite many threats around.

"Tell San Zemin to tighten the security around every family member," Lu Lijun instructed. "He is already doing it, but I would instruct him anyways."

Meanwhile at Jared Magnus' office.

"Mr. Magnus I don't think we can keep this partnership going. Our company won't be signing a new project with you," a man, among the groups of few sitting in front of him, said. "Lu Corporations truly left us no way out and that the major business companies like Mings, Wens and few others are already on their side along with the major foreign investors. Mountbattens are one of the major investors and we can't get them to break ties with Lu Corporations," someone else added. "The son from Mountbatten's is Lu Lijun's friend and seeing how they are going, along with Mings and Wens, it is difficult to even sway them."

"Lu Lijun even has stronger connections in westerner countries which he established during his university days. Seems like he was planning his future while still having his baby teeth. I wonder what kind of skills he has even acquired."

"We have not expected Lu Lijun to not be threatened by our actions but instead become bolder and take all those risky decisions which he turned into his achievements."

"Seems like there is no way we can stand against them now, or we would be facing bigger troubles. We can't afford it anymore."

All of them continued to talk about Lu Lijun, Lu corporation and how they all had failed terribly while Jared Magnus could only listen to them quietly, having no regrets. Once everyone left, his assistant spoke, "Mr Magnus, what now? I don't think we can even affect Lu Corporation now."

"My intention was never to affect Lu corporation but Lu Family," Jared spoke, "If I could not affect them by troubling them in business, I have to go the other way which I was trying to keep for the end, but it seems like we can't wait any longer."

The assistant seemed to have understood. "You mean?" n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Time to visit Lu family," Jared spoke, an evil smirk painting his lips, "I can't wait to see that woman broken entirely and feel the pain of loss all over again."
