Chapter 80 Blue Star Alliance
Everyone was lost in thought. They reported to their seniors already, and were waiting for an answer.
Sure, they could also start searching for good raids, but it wasn't that easy. To test the difficulty of a raid, one needed to enter the raid.
Even then, there could be hidden dangers that no one could see. Something like the cyclops that suddenly appeared on the first raid.
Seeing that he did not get any distress messages already, he had no doubt that the guild was doing fine, and that they were being able to complete the raid.
Looking back at the people in front of him, he leaned back on his chair as he provocatively looked at them. He was waiting for an answer right now.
"As long as Bright Horizon will share a few secrets with us, Gemini is willing to join this alliance. Seeing that Venur has already joined and that Horace has also shown particular interest, Gemini is sure that as long as we band together as one, we will be able to dominate the Loviel Empire and beyond." a bald man with glasses nodded.
"Good. Please, do sign this agreement. Or if you do not have enough authority, I can send the agreement to someone that does matter." Jake asked.
"I will be sufficient. I am still a legal representative to Gemini, and should be able to represent it in deals that do not have significant assets moving around." the bald man nodded.
Once the agreement was signed virtually, he nodded toward Jake and turned around to leave.
With that, now there were seven. The man with the rat like face from Sengu had already left, gone to discuss with his higherups.
But the fact that two companies had signed, and another was on standby was enough to push some people to the brink.
They were typing non stop. Which company didn't want to suddenly jump on the hype train before it left the station? If a power was growing this fast, and had such backing from so many companies, then it would surely be able to dominate the part of the world that it was in.
"I will sign, but I wish to know, which company do you represent? You said that you had access to the core list. All of us do. But that is because we are part of few of the biggest corporations in the world. It was an expensive group to join. What do you bring to the table?" a black haired man in the back, clearly the youngest among them all, since Phoenix had left, asked.
"The company that I represent... well that doesn't need to be revealed right? I am not putting my company as the guarantee. The guild is the guarantee. You are not signing on because you believe in the company that I am a part of." Jake said.
"Then all that you will bring is information? Information that we can buy elsewhere? We are not easy to fool unlike the ones before. This is a major deal that you are talking, and if such a group of powers congregate because of you, then surely you will demand to be the leader of this alliance."
Jake nodded.
"Without a doubt, because the alliance exists because of us, the alliance head will be Bright Horizon." he said.
"What else does Bright Horizon bring to the alliance other than the information that you have? We have the resources to grow tens of thousands of people each. Together, we can create armies. What can you do?" he asked bluntly.
"Haha! Sure. You can create armies. But do you think that I cannot?" he suddenly opened his window and tapped on something, showing everyone a panel of information.
"Look at the number. Look at the crowd below. Do you think that all of them are here because this is a joke? I have three thousand people signed in as temperorary members. Three thousand people willing to take the risk of joining a guild without pay and being below everyone else, even though they are all leveled higher than level fifteen. Let me ask you, how many players do you have in your guild that are leveled higher than level fifteen." Jake reposed the question toward the black haired man.
The black haired man stuttered. Now, he had no way to respond. He did not expect this sudden influx of players interested in the guild to actually convert into numbers.
This was just hype. How much of it would actually be converted. But to think that this madman would start recruiting immediately.
Which guild could handle such an influx of new members? They would need a proper infrastructure in place, something that many didn't have yet.
This was still a new game, and there was still time for guilds to adjust.
The corporations had an easy time handling the thousands of members that they had because they were employees! There were already communication standards in place.
For Jake, it was going to be different, and so much harder.
"Fine then. I will take my chances and wait. I do not trust a new guild with so many new members. I guarantee you that your guild will collapse for taking in so many people.
Sometimes, before trying to build such a huge building, you will need to have a foundation deep enough. You do not have that." the black haired man said as he turned around to leave.
Jake smiled and nodded, turning to the remaining people.
"Are you all of the same opinion? If so, then how about this. One week later when we start going on our expeditions, and show our true power, I will obviously allow more into the alliance. But at that time, you will no longer be a part of the core. This is a chance for you to earn big without earning much." Jake said.
"This looks interesting. But we want a guarantee. And do not worry, we are not asking for a stake." the eldest looking among the remaining group of representatives finally spoke.
