Chapter 139 Guild Progress
"Interesting. So you guys continued the same raid until you could finish it within thirty minutes?" Jake chuckled.
"We could only finish under thirty minutes once. A lot of things came together for that to happen, but for now, the top five spots the raid are all of Bright Horizon." Faceless Darkness said.
At the moment, Jake, Faceless Darkness, and Myriad Arrows were all in the top floor of the store. Everyone was seated as Jake looked at the reports that Faceless Darkness had laid bare for him.
"And the loot, looking good. Everything is progressing quite smoothly. And we haven't faced any backlash from Aries?" Jake asked.
"About that, it seems like everyone forgot about it. Many seem to think that the post of you putting a bounty on that man was a joke and nothing more. So there hasn't been any blowback." Faceless Darkness shook his head.
"Interesting. I was preparing for so many ways to confront what was going to happen, but to think that denial was the way to go." Jake chuckled.
"So what do you want us to do now? We are all in level twenty three on average. The raid stopped providing us enough experience to level up, so it is just gathering items now. And even the items aren't falling as frequently as they used to." Faceless Darkness said.
"Of course they won't fall as frequently. If they did, then just about anyone would get their hands on thousands of rare grade items and everyone would be rich. That wouldn't make any sense, would it?" Jake said.
"For now, we need to do two things. Get everyone to level thirty, and after that, get them to finish the Tier Upgrade Quest. Everyone who upgrades to Tier two will be officially upgraded to a level two Guild Member."
"For now, Myriad Arrows, make sure that all of the Epic Items that we got are displayed in the center of the store. Everyone who is Tier two or higher will qualify for the guild points system. If they have incentive, they will try to get stronger as fast as possible." Jake said.
"You want all of them to get to Tier Two? Even we aren't at tier two yet." Myriad Arrows said.
"Yeah. I don't expect any of them to get to Tier two in the next two weeks. This is not something that just happens in one day." Jake said.
"But at least it will ensue that progress will occur. I will give all of the guild members access to the best grinding fields. The best monster hunting spots, and so on. After two weeks, I want to see a lot of Tier two players." Jake said.
"Got it." Faceless Darkness nodded as he got up. He knew that this was his cue to leave.
"Oh, and one last thing. Tell them all that the first five to get to Tier two will get bonus guild contribution points. Each Epic item is worth about a thousand points, so let us say that the first five will get five hundred points." Jake said.
"Half way to an Epic Item?" Faceless Darkness exclaimed with shock.
"You really want everyone to get stronger, don't you." Myriad Arrows shook his head.
"I created an alliance with the promise that our guild will become the front line to the expeditions. We can't let the alliance just fizz out, can we?" Jake smiled.
As Faceless Darkness left, Jake stopped Myriad Arrows.
"Where are you going? Let us do a few things before you go and work on the guild contribution system." Jake said.
"What do you want to do?" He asked.
"Well, this place seems to be a little crowded, doesn't it? Don't you remember a piece of paper among the things that I handed to you to carry?" Jake asked.
"You shoved a room full of stuff and ran. I had to collect everything and run the other way. Do you think that I had the time to inventory what you gave me?" Myriad Arrows said.
"So you don't know what it is. Well, don't worry. You didnt lose anything. We are going to use that piece of paper to upgrade this place a little." Jake said.
"This place? You want to make a bigger store?" Myriad Arrows asked.
"No. Don't be silly. Why would I want to do that?" Jake shook his head.
"I seriously underestimated how long it would take for the expeditions to take place. And at that time, we might as well stay in Diffast. The capital will make things a little difficult to operate out of. So we can create a nice guild headquarters here." Jake said.
"Guild headquarters? Why? This place works for no! Why would we get a guild headquarters?" Myriad Arrows asked.
"Because without a designated headquarters, we cannot have the stables." Jake said.
Myriad Arrows froze for a moment.
"We are going to work on getting the eggs hatched?" Myriad Arrows asked, his eyes sparkling.
"We struggled way too much to not do this immediately, didn't we? Are you not curious to see what will come out of the dinosaur eggs?" Jake asked.
Unknowingly, they already started walking. Their pace was frightening as they started walking toward the city hall.
"Wait. Did I hear you right? Did you say that the guild growth has been slow for you?" Myriad Arrows suddenly started processing what had happened before.
"Yes. With all that I have done, I expected things to happen a little faster. But I was too hasty and didn't account for a lot of things. Forget what I said. We will have to redo so many time tables to get things in order." Jake said, shaking his head.
"You are someone with unnaturally high expectations." Myriad Arrows shook his head.
"I have perfect reason for that." Jake laughed.
