Chapter 121 Epic Loot
Jake's eyes were wide open. Until now, he was able to take the fact that he got his hands on quite the wealth in such little time.
And what he had in front of him was not worth the first haul of thirty thousand gold that he got in the SSS ranked quest.
But the both were different. Because he saw, in the edge of his eyes, a small purple crystal. He picked it up and scanned it, his eyes shining brighter.
This was not worth money. It was priceless. There would be no mad man in the world who would sell something like this.
[Epic Class Change: Dino Swordsman
Type: Swordsman]
And it wasn't alone. There were a few items that complemented this item.
[Dinosaur Sword
Grade: Epic
Requirement: Class: Dino Swordsman
Special Skills:
Dinosaur Bite]
A class specific item was always overpowered. And in that, the item was of the epic grade, and it was a main weapon. The combination of the two was just way too good.
And he had a perfect idea on who he had to give this to.
It wasn't someone in his guild though. There was no one in his guild that deserved an epic class yet, and the moment that they did, he had a few lined up for them.
But this one that came unexpectedly, was something that he wanted to save for people that he needed to get as strong as possible. And one middle aged man appeared in his mind.
"With this, dad can actually have a good character." Jake thought to himself as he put these back inside.
Myriad Arrows didn't say anything though. They were here because of Jake telling them where the secret realm was, and the plan of baiting and planning all of this was done by Jake.
"Now then. The armor. Epic Grade. Yours." Jake said.
"A good armor? These go for a lot right? Why don't you replace your armor? It looks pretty bad." Myriad Arrows asked.
"Haha! You will never had to worry about what my equipment is. Don't worry about that. I will always have better equipment than you will. That is not arrogance. That is just the plain truth. You should take this. You worked hard enough to deserve it." Jake smiled.
"Fine. Whatever you say." Myriad Arrows said, but his face revealed his true emotions.
He was just overjoyed. An epic grade armor just for him. Who wouldn't want that?
He quickly equipped the armor, and it replaced the rare one that he was currently donning. With an epic bow and an epic grade pair of gloves that helped him enough already, he was definitely one of the better outfitted people among so many others.
And with this armor, he was going to be an unstoppable force along with the epic class that he had.
"Good then. Now, there are two more epic items that we have. Who do you think should get them in the guild?" Jake looked at Myriad Arrows.
"What are you asking me for? I don't know. No one has proven themselves well enough to earn a whole epic item." Myriad Arrows said.
"Exactly. But we CAN incite them to get this." Jake smiled as he looked at the epic grade ring and the sword. Both had no use in Jake's arsenal, or Myriad Arrows'. But they were precious, and Jake didn't want to sell them right now.
He wanted to strengthen his guild.
"It is too bad. I need to wait till the secret realm closes before we can do anything with this. The moment we leave, I am putting all of this in the bank." Jake said.
"What about the eggs? How is that going to work? How are you going to raise a dinosaur? That is going to take so much effort!" Myriad Arrows asked.
"There is a building that not many people can afford. It is called the guild stables. It is only available for level three guilds." Jake said.
"Level three guilds? But aren't we in level one?" Myriad Arrows said.
"Yes. I never said that we leveled up. No one did. The only way to level up is completing raids, but more importantly, it will be through the expeditions that we will be going on soon enough."
"And once we are able to complete a few expeditions and explore new lands, we will be able to get this guild stables so that we can raise our own powerhouses." Jake said, smiling.
"All of this for the long run. Who will be able to stop our guild if all of this actually happens?" Myriad Arrows asked.
"You are thinking too little. My goal isn't becoming the strongest guild." Jake shook his head as he looked to the depths of the cave.
"I want to become the strongest in the game. I want Bright Horizon to become the strongest force ever. Becoming a kingdom's main guild is just the first step. After that, we will be trying to get that kingdom to the status of an empire." Jake said.
Myriad Arrows looked at him with raised eyebrows. These were lofty goals. Who would dare claim that they could achieve something like that? But Jake could! Because he had the chance to raise not one, but five monsters that were as strong as the two dinosaurs that were in Tier five!
Five powerhouse of that level!
For players to get that strong, it would easily take a few years, if not more time! Leveling up would take time, and no one got to the thirtieth level yet, except for the two people here, and a few hidden gems that didn't disclose their levels.
But even then, Jake knew that not a single person completed the Tier Upgrade quest, because it was that unpredictable. Even he wasn't prepared.
"Alright. We got some good stuff. But now, we have to do the more important thing. We have to stay alive and try to find the exit as fast as we can. Because if we don't, after seven days, we will die and then exit. We will lose at least a few things in our inventory." Jake said.
