Chapter 676 Arise Humanity!

676 Arise Humanity!

"Lalalala~" Asmodeus skipped through the empty hallways of Zeus' palace. There were bloodstains on the walls and floors, almost as if they were part of the wallpaper.

"Open sesame!" He kicked open a large pair of doors and entered Zeus' master bedroom. It was covered with gold-inlaid walls, ceilings, columns, and chandeliers. It looked fancy, like it was made for an emperor.

"Phew, they sure have money to waste." Asmodeus whistled and jumped onto the large bed with a gold-colored blanket and a soft mattress. His body bounced up and down like he was inside a bouncy castle.

"A little bit too bouncy for my taste, but it will do." He kicked his shoes off and placed his arms under his head. He looked like he was on vacation.

"Lord Asmodeus!"

Asmodeus' eyes opened with irritation. "WHAT!"

The door was opened by a pale-faced demon soldier. "U-Umm..."

"WHAT!" Asmodeus sat down while shouting. His words caused the demon soldier to pass out.

"WAKE UP!" This time, his shout woke up the demon soldier. "You dare to sleep when you ruined my sleep?"

'But you knocked me out!' The demon soldier cried invisible tears while thinking how unreasonable Asmodeus was.

"I-I am sorry, Lord Asmodeus, but we have a situation."

"Then deal with it. Jeez, fucking useless." Asmodeus lay back down and tried to close his eyes.

"B-But, we have received reports of humans appearing in the lower realms!"

"And?" Asmodeus asked, not thinking it was a serious problem.

"T-They are attacking us and we are currently losing!"

"It's not my fault that you all are useless." Asmodeus waved his hand and said, "Leave or I will make you suck my cock."

The demon soldier paled and ran away as quickly as he could.

...

Arthur tore his gaze away from the monitor and said, "Around a hundred players have entered the White Online. That's 10% of every Chain Breaker."

Aether nodded and looked at the rest of the Primordial Gods. They looked solemn since it was impossible to conquer the World of White back with only a hundred players. However, there was another way.

"Gaia, I think its time for the final phase."

"What?!" Gaia looked at Aether with her beautiful eyes shining. They expected the final phase to happen if they were losing. But, they were in a very good position, especially after Satan's death.

'If Aether is telling to do this, he means he is going all-out to push demons into a corner.' Gaia calmed her heartbeat and turned to Arthur with a calm smile. "May you help me with the announcement?"

"Oh, alright." Arthur nodded and left Gaia in his office. In there, he put the camera ready and entered the Legacy Company's servers. He was soon only one button away from starting the broadcast.

Gaia lifted her dress and sat on the chair. She gazed at the camera with a sweet smile and nodded at Arthur.

Arthur pressed a button, and soon, each TV in the Four Seasons opened, showing Gaia's otherworldly face. The citizens were stunned and thought they were staring at a painting.

But, to everyone's surprise, Gaia's mouth opened and she started speaking.

Everyone listened, almost like they were hypnotized by the sweet voice.

This was the first time Gaia spoke publicly, and she immediately revealed a bomb of a news. She revealed who was attacking them and didn't keep anything hidden.

After ten minutes of breath-stopping announcement, she spoke about everyone who want to volunteer, to enter White Online to exterminate all the demons. It was tempting to many since they couldn't help in any way because they weren't Chain Breakers.

But, Gaia poured cold water on them to say that it could still be extremely dangerous. It was already proven that there were people who could injure people's avatars and also kill people through them.

The demons were also monsters who could torture them mentally before finally finishing them off. They might not recover from it ever.

After fifteen minutes, Gaia finished with a smile. "The choice is yours. For humanity, and for future, there is only one option to choose from. But, I don't mind if you choose to save your life instead. You all are my children and I will do everything to keep you safe."

With those following words, the TV screens shut down.

...

Stab!

A sword went through a demon's body, killing another demonic creature.

"There are too many!" A female chain breaker shouted while evading demons in a tightly packed streets. She was with three other chain breakers who have Ordinary and Special Legacies.

The demons reached to the ends of the streets, and it looked like there were hundreds of them. This was a street in Stronglord.

The group of chain breakers backed up to an alleyway with a dead-end. They didn't have any other choice than to fight!

They desperately fended off the demons, gulped down healing potions, and used their skills till the cooldown dawned.

However, they were quickly overwhelmed and soon their backs touched the wall at the dead end. The demons found their chance and hurled themselves forward with massive grins.

TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP!

The ground suddenly started rumbling as loud footsteps echoed in the distance. The demons turned around and were suddenly stabbed, shot at, and hit by hundreds of screaming players!

Flashes of white light appeared in every street of Stronglord and suddenly thousands of players appeared, screaming while attacking demons!

There were weak players, who couldn't penetrate through demon skins, but there were also strong players who shredded through the demonic creatures with thundering roars.

The bloodshed ensuded and the demons tried desperately to fight again. However, more and more players started to appear and started overwhelming the demons!

The same scene happened in each town and city in Summer, Spring and Autumn Realm!

Thousands... tens of thousands... hundreds of thousands... millions of players appeared from the flash of light!

The chain breakers only watched with wide-open mouths as the demons, who had overwhelmed them only moments ago, were stomped down by screaming and crying players. They were still terrified and frightened, but their desire to protect their homes overcame their fears.

It was time for humanity's counter-attack.

On the roof of a church, Isaac watched the scene like a god looking over at mortals. His lips slowly curled into a smile.

"Arise, humanity."
