I looked up to see my Inugami maid standing beside me at attention with a slight tilt of her head.

Right now I was in the gardens enjoying my afternoon tea while reading the Eromancy book that I obtained from the Dungeon.

"It's a book about Eromancy. Have you heard of it before?"

She shook her head, "I'm afraid I have not, Mistress. Is it a new kind of magic?"

"I'm not sure… This was the reward I received from Hiandoca after helping her with one of her tasks."

Katsuki paused for a moment, "If this was given to Mistress by Goddess Hiandoca herself, then it could very well be a unique magic that is given only to you, Mistress."

I tilted my head at her, "That can't be right… I mean… Can't I just let you read this book as well and you'll also learn it?"

To prove my point, I pushed the book over towards her to let her read it.

She leaned over to look at the page I showed her before turning back to me, "Mistress… I can't read it."

I frowned a little, looking back at the book to make sure that it was right side up until I realised that she was standing beside me which meant that it wasn't even upside down to begin with.

"Sorry… What do you mean by 'you can't read it'?"

"The words on the pages are all gibberish to me, Mistress."

Ok, I thought it might have been written in my old native language back in my old World but that wasn't the case here. The text here was still written in the native language of this World so it wasn't the case of her being unable to read it because of that…

Katsuki then spoke up again, "Mistress. I believe the book has been enchanted so that only you are able to read it. If anyone else were to try and read it, they would see gibberish like me."

If she tried to lower her hands or her stance faltered, Odeta and Delmare, who were both watching her with displeased expressions, would be quick to correct her.

Despite Katsuki maintaining a neutral face, I could tell that she was actually feeling quite happy from seeing Lisa being punished by how her tail was wagging.

"That is not up to me to decide, Mistress."

"Straighten those arms!" Odeta yelled, prompting Lisa to push her arms up higher while she sobbed a little.

To be fair… I did warn her ahead of time that this might happen and she said it would be worth it.

Not sure if she still has the same sentiments after being subjected to such a punishment… Oh what am I talking about, she definitely still does.

I called out to them, "I think that's enough already girls… I'm sure she has already learned her lesson, right?"

Odeta turned to me, "You're too soft on her, Sister Aster! If she doesn't hold it for at least another hour, she won't learn her lesson!"

Really? You've made her stand there for more than an hour already… She's not like you or me who has high strength or endurance stats, you know? I'm already impressed she could hold that position for an hour.

On the other hand, Delmare seemed to agree with me and tugged at Odeta's arm from where she sat on the ground.

"I think that's enough already, Odeta… Like what Aster said, I believe she already learned her lesson so why don't we just let her off with this much?"

Odeta made a face, "Hmph. Since both Sister Aster and Delmare said so, then I suppose we can stop here. Have you learned your lesson yet, Lisa?"

"Do you promise not to kidnap Sister Aster away to go hunt monsters without telling us?"

Odeta crossed her arms, "Hey!"

Delmare tugged at Odeta again, "I agree with her… The issue is just the fact that we planned to go together but she ran off without us…"

"Fine, fine. Do you promise not to kidnap Sister Aster and run off on your own after we already agreed to go together?"

"Meh, good enough."

Lisa dropped the bucket on the ground and let its contents splash out onto the grass before she fell on her haunches in exhaustion.
