"Ellena left the house with her mother," Albert whispered doubtfully and with a heavy heart.

"W-what?" Lucas jumped at the news.

"Ow!"

Instantly his head felt dizzy again, making him groan. The news from his father seemed to bring his health condition back down. Lucas held his head while groaning in pain.

Of course, Lucas' parents panicked and immediately shouted for a doctor. Not long after, Doctor Hadi and one of the female nurses reappeared in the room and immediately took care of Lucas.

"Mr. Lucas, calm down, I'll check on you." The doctor said as he grabbed Lucas' hand which was still holding his head very tightly, as if the pain in his head was so severe.

Lucas tried to calm himself, after the doctor started giving him treatment.

"Mr. Lucas should just rest and don't think too much," said Doctor Hadi, who had just finished examining Lucas, as if he knew very well what had made Lucas like that.

Yes, in fact stress can be one of the triggers for a person's health condition to decline. Moreover, Lucas, who has not yet recovered. He had just woken up from a coma. Of course it will be very vulnerable for him, when faced with problems that will clearly disturb his mind.

Because there was nothing serious about Lucas' condition, the doctor and nurse immediately left after conveying a message to Lucas and his parents.

"Mommy, Daddy, tell me what really happened? Tell me that it's not true! Ellena can't leave me, especially when I'm sick like this." Lucas attacked, throwing a few questions that had been bothering him from the start.

If his head didn't hurt, he might have asked his parents about it a long time ago.

"Lucas, didn't you hear what the Doctor said? You should rest and don't think too much." Albert said while wearing a pitiful expression, he couldn't bear to see Lucas's expression, which looked panicked after hearing the news of Ellena's departure from the house.

It was clear from the look on Lucas' face that he was very sad to hear the news. It's like a dream to him. Was all of this really the effect of being in too much of a coma, so he felt like he was dreaming.

Inwardly, he wanted so badly to believe the news and thought everything he heard was just a dream. However, he wasn't actually sleeping. He even realized that he had just woken up from a coma.

"No, Dad!" Lucas shook his head with tears in his eyes, as if he couldn't accept the fact that Ellena was gone in his life. He didn't even know what he had done wrong, until Ellena just left him.

"I won't be able to calm down, until I meet Ellena. Please, call her here. I really want to see her!" Lucas pleaded.

"Lucas, you calm down. I will soon find out where Ellena is now." Albert seemed to be holding Lucas's shoulder, trying to calm him down. He didn't want Lucas' health to be disturbed again because of this problem.

He looked at Lucas sad face now. The man was still trying to hold back his sadness, by not spilling the clear liquid that had filled the corners of his eyes.

Even so, Albert could read how much pain Lucas was feeling right now. Seeing this, of course Albert felt hurt. This was the first time he had seen his son so safe. Didn't think that Ellena's departure would have a tremendous impact on Lucas.

"Please, find Ellena. I love her very much and don't want to part with her." Lucas begged again and suddenly made Veronica put on an angry expression, as well as pity.

Veronica was sad to see Lucas who was hit like that because of Ellena. However, he was also angry and didn't like Lucas who seemed to glorify the bitch.

"Lucas, never mind! What you need to think about now is your health, not other things that are obviously not important." Veronica said while stroking the top of Lucas' head.

"What, Mom? Not important?" Lucas rolled his eyes, showing an expression of disbelief in front of Veronica. "She's my wife, Mom. How can you say she's not important to me?" growled Lucas.

Lucas had a look of disappointment on his face. Can't understand the mother's attitude that it's easy to say that.

"Yes, I know. But at least you think about your health. Don't you know how we've been worried about you so much these days? Waiting for you to come out of your coma."

Lucas watched Veronica's expression as if she wasn't worried about Ellena at all. In fact, it seemed that the woman did not care about Ellena's departure. This was evident from Veronica's attitude, which actually looked relaxed and seemed as if she didn't want to discuss Ellena in front of Lucas.

Lucas briefly recalled the change in his mother's attitude towards Ellena a few weeks ago. The thing that made the wife complain because she was afraid and worried about the attitude of his mother who seemed to have suspected him marriage to Ellena at that time.

Now suspicion began to dominate his mind. Is it possible that Ellena's departure from home has something to do with her mother? Could it be that Veronica already knew about the agreement, as well as about Ellena's real family background? Is it possible that Veronica kicked Ellena out of the house just because of that trivial matter? Ah no! Lucas wouldn't just let that happen, if that was the case.

"Mom, do you know anything about Ellena leaving the house?" Lucas asked, looking at him curiously.

"W-what do you mean, Lucas?" Veronica looked nervous in response to her son's question.

The expression on the woman's face certainly convinced Lucas that Veronica did know something about Ellena. Until this moment he still wasn't sure if Ellena left him for no reason. There must be something forcing his wife to do that. He already knew very well how Elena was.

"Tell me the truth!" Lucas demanded emphatically and managed to make Veronica jump.

"Lucas, what did you tell your mother?" asked Albert who still didn't understand his son's attitude towards his wife who suddenly turned sour.

"Dadd, I'm sure that Mami knows something about Ellena." Lucas retorted trying to complain.

"What do you mean, Lucas? What secret is your mother hiding?" Alber knitted his brows as if he was surprised and still couldn't believe what Lucas said so easily accusing his mother.

"Mom, what do you know about Ellena?" Albert looked at Veronica questioningly, just wanting to confirm the truth of what Lucas said.

"I-I don't know anything, Dadd." Veronica replied, still trying to dodge, shaking her head.

"Do not lie!" Lucas said still in disbelief. Now he was already throwing this gaze at Veronica.

Only this time Lucas looked that angry towards his mother. He even dared to yell, which clearly hurt Veronica's feelings.

"What a lie, Lucas? I really don't know anything about Ellena," said Veronica, who still didn't want to reveal her own secret.

"Then why do you have to be so nervous?" Lucas' question managed to make Veronica stunned that she couldn't answer.

'Because of that woman, my son became like this. This was the first time Lucas was angry with me like that and it was all because of Ellena. Just watch out, Elle. I will not forgive you!' Veronica muttered to herself, unable to stop cursing anymore.

"Mommy doesn't really know anything, Lucas. Trust me!" Veronica replied still trying to lie to Lucas.

"Lucas, why are you so sure that your mother knows something about Ellena. Since your accident, your mother has been very busy looking after you in the hospital, but why are you accusing your mother of that now?" asked Albert who did not understand the meaning behind the debate between a mother and daughter.

"Aren't you suspicious of Mom's attitude, Dad! My heart says that Mommy knows something behind Ellena's departure from the house." Lucas replied.

"Never mind, maybe it's just your feelings, Lucas. I'm sure that your mother can't keep something from us," said Albert trying to break up the argument between Lucas and Veronica.

"Just watch out if that happens, I won't forgive you, Mom!" Lucas insisted, forced to end the debate, before he knew the answer.

That threat certainly doesn't necessarily dampen Veronica's current concerns. Veronica worries what if one day Lucas really finds out her biggest secret? Can't imagine how angry Lucas will be when he finds out about all that.

Veronica did not respond to Lucas's words and chose to remain silent. It seems that is the best way than fighting each other trying to win the debate.

"Now you rest," Albert asked Lucas.

"I want to be alone. Please leave me!"

"Okay," Albert replied and immediately led Veronica out of the room, leaving Lucas to rest alone in the room.

Meanwhile, Lucas seemed to contemplate his fate. Of course it's not easy for him, if he has to live without Ellena. However, Ellena has become a part of his life. He couldn't just let her go.

What he had to do now was to quickly mobilize his men to find out where Ellena was. Right now, Ellena was the most important in her life. That's why he always put her first.

"Elle, where are you now? I really miss you.. Hurry up and go home," Lucas whispered with teary eyes again, staring sadly in any direction.
