Chapter 410 – Lovers’ Reunion

The feeling of emptiness from time to time is a part of the human condition. It is a void of loneliness that is at times described as a feeling of incompleteness like something is missing. When this feeling persists it develops into something much more serious like anxiety and depression.

For the past few years, this feeling had hung over Ji Yao's head like a gloomy cloud refusing to leave him alone. But the moment he was swept up into the sky that gloomy cloud dispersed immediately and he let go of all his suppressed emotions.

The trace of the tear that flowed down his cheek had long evaporated blown by the wind but his eyes were still so red as he stared blankly into the distance. Biting his lower lip hard he wasn't certain if he was dreaming.

As the sharp pain of his teeth sinking into his lips coursed through his nerve endings his eyes stung realizing that this wasn't a dream. His baby was really back and he was currently embracing him from behind with his face buried into Ji Yao's neck.

Sensing Ji Yao's uneasiness Rui Fei tightened his hold on Ji Yao's waist while nuzzling the man's hair greedily taking in his sweet scent. His warm lips stopped by Ji Yao's ear and he spoke in earnestness. "Yao-ge, I missed you so much," he whispered into the man's ear making the man in his arms tremble.

For a moment Ji Yao didn't respond. He had dreamt of this exact moment countless times and imagined what he would do, what he would say. But when it finally happened everything he had thought of and planned vanished leaving his mind blank.

He just did what came to him naturally. That is turning around and slowly placing his hand behind Rui Fei's neck before gently pulling him down. With his head tilted to the side, he drew Rui Fei closer and planted a light kiss on those soft lips that he had dreamt countless times of kissing.

An explosive cocktail of emotions swept through Rui Fei's body. Just like the first time they kissed he felt his heart racing, nervousness and happiness all mixed in as his hands fumbled due to lack of experience. When Ji Yao withdrew he opened his eyes and met his lover's amorous gaze.

Ji Yao was breathing hurriedly as he tightened his grip on Rui Fei's arm. The surroundings were completely still but something fervent and passionate was igniting as they stared at each other intently.

Unable to take it anymore Rui Fei lowered his head as he drew Ji Yao closer by pulling his waist. Gripping the side of Ji Yao's waist tightly he pressed their lips together with his warm breath brushing against Ji Yao's face.

Ji Yao's face heated up exponentially as the urge to swallow this cub whole grew stronger and stronger. His hand pressed against the back of Rui Fei's neck a little harder. His actions were subconscious but Rui Fei felt an inexplicable wave of excitement that he pressed their bodies hard against each other deepening the kiss.

Ji Yao's breathing became heavier and heavier brushing against Rui Fei's face. His heart thumping against his chest he gently licked Rui Fei's lip making the taller man groan involuntarily as his fingers curled digging into Ji Yao's waist.

It was then that Ji Yao retreated shifting his head away but he remained in Rui Fei's arms. Ji Yao felt his entire face and ears grow hotter as he averted his gaze his hand now resting on Rui Fei's chest.

Rui Fei who had been so engrossed in this passionate kiss was a little disgruntled but for a long time, he didn't say anything. He just stared at Ji Yao with a deep gaze brimming with love and affection. He had finally seen the person he had been dreaming of night and day and this time he wouldn't let him go no matter what.

It was for this reason that he was so patient. He intended to spend the rest of his life with this man so he could afford to wait as long as Ji Yao stayed by his side.

After calming down Ji Yao cleared his throat and asked, "How… how are you here?"

Rui Fei's lips quirked up as he leaned his head down a little to look at Ji Yao's face but because of the angle, he could only see Ji Yao's side profile. "After so many years that's what you choose to say to me first?" replied Rui Fei still trying to get Ji Yao to look at him.

But he was pushed away instead and the person in his arms escaped just like that. Ji Yao walked towards Rui Fei's little set-up. He felt weak at the knees and just wanted to sit down before proceeding with this conversation.

Rui Fei caught up with him and silently followed behind Ji Yao his hand subconsciously reaching out to pinch the hem of Ji Yao's sleeve as though afraid this person would disappear right before his eyes again.

Ji Yao felt his clothes getting tugged despite how gentle it was. His steps paused for a moment but he didn't open his mouth to say anything. Instead, his lips slightly quirked up in a repressed smile before he moved forward.

He could clearly feel the twines of love protruding from Rui Fei's body penetrating straight into his heart. This feeling made their years apart worth it.

As he walked on the beautiful open deck Ji Yao asked, "When did you do this?" At a glance, Ji Yao could tell the amount of work and time that went into this. What he didn't know was that Rui Fei literally carried his entire room from Niuq in the space ring his grandfather got for him.

The bed was softer, the fabric gentle and the furniture exquisite. He wanted to give Ji Yao the finest of things and these things were one of the most precious things he had.

Rui Fei even raided his grandmother's entire kitchen grabbing every sweet pastry he could find in that place just to give to his lover. He had planned to have a romantic dinner with Ji Yao away from outside disturbances then lay in his arms all night under the stars.

But seeing that figure pacing the deck looking around he realised he had underestimated his desire for him. That kiss earlier had ignited a fiery passion he hadn't felt ever since they left the floating island years ago.

This burning desire had only gotten worse as his gaze slowly caressed Ji Yao's body from his soft hair grazing his back down to that accentuated waist and that ass that he dreamt of squeezing a dozen times.

His breath caught in his chest he subconsciously walked over like a fly drawn to a lamp. It knows that it might get killed but it can't help being drawn in by that tempting ray of light.

Ji Yao turned his head wondering why Rui Fei hadn't answered him yet when he was met by that powerful lustful gaze.. He suddenly felt like one wrong move and he would be eaten.
