Chapter 111 - Bite Mark Or Hickey?
The serious conversation that began as a way to deal with the loss of a loved one and create a new bond with an estranged uncle ended as a drunken emotional breakdown that wasn't supposed to happen.
Huishe Yue was serious about teaching his nephew his roots but the moment alcohol was involved well, it turned into something entirely different. A serious educational class about Huishe's physiology was massacred by these two.
Huishe Yue expressed in fifty paragraphs how it felt going through his coupling session with his bride in the past. The details were described with censored elements and this so-called cub was so attentive as though he was making notes.
His face was flushed from the alcohol but he didn't appear drunk. He was silently listening to the Huishe's customs while occasionally nodding his head. By the end of this conversation, he had his own preconceptions of what he and Ji Yao would do on their coupling night. Saucy, right?
Rui Fei strode back to where he left Ji Yao and as expected his two siblings were still waiting for him but they didn't expect he would be this flushed when he came back.
It was obvious he had had one too many which was out of character for Rui Fei. Rui Yewan was about to ask him what happened when Rui Fei slipped under the covers where Ji Yao was sleeping and cuddled his waist before passing out.
Rui Yewan, "WTF!"
His reaction could be deemed as normal but Rui Li's wasn't normal in the slightest. Screw reading novels, this right here was real live action. She would subscribe to premium membership for stuff like this.
Without Rui Yewan noticing Rui Li grabbed a stool, carried it all the way to where Rui Yewan was standing and sat down with a beaming smile you would think she won a year's worth of free ice cream.
It was then Rui Yewan noticed her sitting there with her fists propping up her chin with a look on her face like she was enjoying a great show. "Oh my gosh, are you serious right now?" he said giving her the stink eye.
Rui Li didn't turn her gaze away responding, "What? Can't I admire two handsome people cuddling. It's not a crime," with that smile still plastered on her face.
Rui Yewan almost rolled his eyes at her before dragging her out of there. At least this time she cooperated though she snuck in a few more glances to engrave the lovely scene in her mind. Rui Li was right. This scene was precious and special to most of us.
It's just that things got a little more interesting after that. If she had known she would have put in just a little more effort in refusing to leave. Ji Yao was lying flat on his back facing the ceiling completely knocked out and Rui Fei was lying next to him with his thigh over Ji Yao and his arm wrapped around Ji Yao's chest.
He was dead drunk at this juncture otherwise he wouldn't be this brazen. The first person on his mind when he left his uncle passed out by the fish pond was this person. In this state, he wouldn't be able to tell the difference between left and right but he most certainly knew where Ji Yao was in this unfamiliar place.
His nose nuzzled into Ji Yao's neck. He took a deep inhale of the man's scent like he had been drowning and was in desperate need of air. Once he grasped it he inhaled deeply holding that lovely scent like it was his lifeline.
A smile crept up his face as he fell into a lovely dream. They were sleeping like this in the lovely field of canola flowers. But this time they were adorned in bright red dragon and phoenix robes lying on the soft ground. The smile on Rui Fei got even bigger. This was exactly what he had been imagining earlier and it finally came true.
The fluffy bed of flowers they were lying on suddenly transformed into a lavishly decorated bridal chamber with red wedding paper cutouts such as pairs of mandarin ducks, dragon and phoenix all over the place.
They now lay on a canopy bed with a red lace curtain blocking the rest of the world from what was transpiring inside. Rui Fei got up in half sleeping position propping his body with his elbow and looked down at the sleeping Ji Yao. He reached out and caressed his cheeks with a sweet innocent smile cherishing this lovely dream.
Just then, Ji Yao moved mumbling something while dragging him back down on the bed. His exact words were, "Where are you going?" in a whisper that made it very difficult for one to hear what he said but Rui Fei heard it.
He obediently lay down in Ji Yao's embrace staring at his face that was inches away from him. The two of them were so close that he could feel Ji Yao's breath brushing against his skin. His gaze lingered on those sweet intoxicating lips that were calling him for a taste.
Rui Fei gulped as he clutched Ji Yao's robe to control himself. He might have been able to control himself and not kiss his sleeping bride but he was thoroughly defeated by the sudden urge to bite and do the so-called censored things his uncle told him about.
Since this was a dream he could use this as practice, right? His gaze shifted to the exposed reddened skin on Ji Yao's neck. From underneath the skin, he could see fine lines of purplish-blue veins pulsing. Rui Fei found himself licking his lips desperate for a taste.
He leaned over and licked the area with the tip of his tongue. The sleeping Ji Yao let out a throaty chuckle but two seconds later his brows were creased together before they relaxed.
Rui Fei had no idea that this was no dream. He actually bit Ji Yao in his sleep. It's a good thing that when his uncle was explaining he was talking about the Huishe clan which was entirely different from the Qilin clan. So his so-called coupling was like leaving an obvious hickey and nothing more.
The next morning he woke up as a result of his body being kicked off the bed by someone. With a loud thud, his body landed on the floor. Having hit his head on the floor he massaged it while lazily opening his eyes.
When he opened them he found Ji Yao sitting by the bed with his feet up as he pointed at his neck. "So you are into biting now? That's just fuckin great," said Ji Yao before vanishing from the bed.
