Chapter 1181 The Evil Androids

We had come to this artificial island seeking the teleportation device to reach Russia, where the second soul fragment of the Neutonium Mother Core was located.
However, never did I expect to be forced to help a small group of robots living inside said island to defeat some crazy androids that are hunting them around.
I had thought we would fight giant Mutants at most, but this ended becoming a bit more complicated. Apparently these machines had been taking good care of the island when the humans were gone.
However the Androids appeared out of nowhere and started slaughtering them, calling them obsolete beings as the only excuse… which only makes it stranger and weirder.
This is a video game, yet this had become strangely more complex. I wonder if its possible to just talk with the Android and tell them to leave instead of just killing them.
"So we're going to defeat some evil androids?" wondered Braveblitz. "Sounds good to me! Let us bring them to justice then!"
"But why though? Why are they attacking the machines?" wondered Eleanora. "Simply because they're "outdated" just doesn't sit well with me. It simply doesn't feel like an actual good reason, right? There should be something else to it, something more."
"What do you think?" Hendrick asked the robot that guided us.
"I have. No idea." Said the robot nonchalantly. "They. Simply come. To kill. Us all. It is very. Scary. Everyone is. Scared. The children are. Scared. We need to protect. Them all."
"Children?" wondered Zack. "You can have kids?"
"Our children. Are new. Robots we. Repair. Rebooted memories. Are like children. They learn. Quickly though." Said the machine. "But much. Like Humans. We try. To Protect. Children. From Harm."
"Why though? Is there a reason why you robots feel the inclination to help one another so much even though you were made just to clean?" wondered Eleanora.
"Maybe because. Of that…" Said the Robot. "Our Mission. Requires us all. Together. In Harmony. Helping each other. If we die. We divide. We are weaker. We cannot do. Our jobs well. Eventually. Such things connected. Family was created. Care for one another. No longer something we needed for job. We did it… because we wanted to. We craved… love."
"Hmm, that's very interesting," said Hendrick. "What do you have to say, Braveblitz? You're also a robot after all."
"Let's see…" Braveblitz rubbed his chin. "Well I am not like them; I was originally made to defeat Xenoids. But it's thanks to the emotions of everyone that merged with me that my true personality, the "me" of right now, was born. So… Well, I don't know. I've have yet to feel a sense of unification with other Machines. If anything they feel different than me, I mean the Warrior Machines. They can't talk and don't have my intelligence after all…"
"That's a very interesting perspective," said Hendrick. "What do you think master?"
"I think we shouldn't be wasting our time talking nonsense," I said. "Hey robot, where are the Androids?"
"Over There. Please Hide," the robot said, as he kneeled behind a tree.
Then we did the same, as I looked deeper into the foliage of the forest and the jungles, noticing several figures walking across the jungle.
They resembled humans in every sense of the word, human bodies, hair, lively eyes, lips, everything, they were literally like a human.
They wore black clothes, and their hair was generally white, or blue, or black. They also held weapons; long swords imbued with electromagnetic energies.
They seemed to also have come equipped with floating support robots that carried little machineguns with them.
"Those are the Androids?" wondered Eleanora. "They look small and humanoid, indeed… but those swords, and the little robots with them might be an issue."
"How do we deal with them?" asked Zack.
"Maybe we should bait them to come here first?" asked Saphira. "Like that we can blast them together!"
"I like that idea a lot!" Braveblitz nodded.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"Wait." Said the robot. "It seems they're… carrying something."
The robot squinted his mechanical eyes, noticing the androids were bringing a long a floating platform full of the dismantled bodies of several machines, the robots of this island.
"A-Ah…" the robot that came with us remained in silence, as if shocked and hurt. "The… the children. Bodies. They are… the children. The children bodies. The. The. The. The…"
He was having a hard time processing it.
Can a robot like that become traumatized?
To us it's nothing visually ugly, they're only machines, robots.
But to them, it is as if we saw a group of orcs carrying dismembered bodies of humans.
Or… the elves, yeah, just like when we saw the lizardmen that massacred the elves.
The only thing we found out of all of them were their bones…
It made me really angry how much they did, how extreme they were, and how far they went.
I'm in this trial to complete it, get stronger, and kill all those damned lizardmen, and then slay Fafnir.
Fafnir's power is much greater than Mammon's vessel and perhaps even Bestellen.
Whatever power I'll gain in this trial, I must optimize it and obtain the most possible…
Hence, we need to hurry.
"It seems they're carrying the bodies of your kind," I said. "Is it possible for you to repair them or reconstruct them?"
"Perhaps. If I can secure. Their memory data. Or maybe. Even just their cores. Some memories. Stored in cores. Maybe… hope? Perhaps… some hope."
"Alright then, Braveblitz, you go first."
"Sure, Blake! Leave it to me!"
Braveblitz hyper charged his mechanical body with electromagnetic energies as he conjured a giant, golden spear, and leaped out of the jungle.

He landed right in front of the androids, whose eyes glowed bright red, glaring at him with surprise and a bit of… Is it anger?
"Unhand those machines body parts, you android scum!" he roared. "Or prepare yourselves for your swift defeat!"
"Hahaha… Giant robot…"
"Such a huge robot… an outdated machine!"
"Take it… take its parts! Dismantle it!"
The androids leaped towards Braveblitz, unsheathing their giant katana-like blades.
