Noah now had the possibility of evolving.

Something that he had not expected at all.

Although he quickly wondered if there were some side effects to the process of evolving.

He thought that, if the system itself asked him if he wanted or not, it meant that it most likely had some kind of process that might take time.

However, before starting such evolution, he decided to ask his subordinates if they had been given any evolution option.

"Evolution…? Not that I remember…" said Iris.

"I don't have anything like that either… could it be a power related to your Blood Core, Noah?" asked Arthur.

"It could be that I don't really feel like 'evolving' or anything of the sorts…" said Timassa.

"Me neither…" said Jon.

Adamantine remained silent as she waved her head.

"Then it is simply another ability of my Blood Core… I should simply evolve straight away, all of you protect me as I underwent this transformation," said Noah, as his subordinates nodded and stood around him.

Noah rested on his bed as he decided to select 'YES' in the Evolution Option.

Ding!

[Initializing Evolution into [Level II: Vampire Noble]!]

Suddenly a flash of crimson light emerged from within Noah's Blood Core, engulfing his entire body!

Flash!

"NNnghh…!"

Noah felt a sharp pain rush through his entire body, sharper than having his own flesh torn apart, something that not even the several times he used his body in abnormal and grotesque ways could prepare him for!

His bones started to crack and repair themselves continuously, his muscles were torn into pieces and regenerated back, his organs exploded and came back, even his heart exploded, and when he felt his brain going through the same thing, he lost consciousness.

When Noah opened his eyes again, he felt like his body had been renewed.

It was as if he had become something more than before, even more.

He glanced at his appearance, he seemed to look the same as before…

Except that his ears were not sharp, his fangs had grown larger, and his overall physical strength had been enhanced.

His muscles felt more flexible yet sturdy, and the same was for his very soul as well.

His senses were sharper than before as if he was able to see through his environment without even putting his eyes in that certain direction.

"Noah-sama, you're awake!" said Iris.

"It really took you a while now…" said Arthur.

"This is the second time you fall unconscious this day, master…" said Timassa.

"How long did I sleep?" asked Noah.

"Around three hours…" said Jon.

"Three hours?! So it's… what time is it?" asked Noah.

"Hmm, around 11 in the night," said Iris.

"Sigh… Well, that was a long time wasted, let's make up for it by hunting on an E-Rank Dungeon, and then we can spend the rest of the night in Arthur's manor," said Noah.

"Sounds good to me!" said Arthur, who seemed excited to finally show his parents his friends.

"Oh?! Three Skills awakened… into B-Rank Skills!" thought Noah in surprise, this evolution had brought him even more power than he expected!

Noah quickly tried to check his Attribute Panel, seeking more changes that he could not easily notice.

Noah not only awakened new Skills, but even managed to acquire ten points in each Attribute Value as a bonus for evolving, this was showcased clearly by how stronger his muscles, bones, and skin felt!

Alongside that, he acquired bonus proficiency in all of his Skills, making them even stronger!

As the Progenitor of his Vampiric Family, he needed to be strong after all, so this was fitting for someone like him!

However… this was not enough.

No, even with all of this, he was still an E-Rank Hunter.

Ten more Attribute Values did not make much of a difference compared to those at higher Ranks, if he were to fight one at D-Rank or above, he might end up getting killed before he could even reach the pinnacle of his potential!

This was why he did not want to let his newly found strength get into his head!

Noah desired more, more power, this was not enough, not enough at all, not near as enough!

"This… You're already a Vampire Noble… damned brat…" groaned the Blood Progenitor.

The Blood Progenitor seemed annoyed at Noah, the stronger he grew, the harder it would be for him to even take over his mind one day… and such hope was already being shattered into pieces, while each piece was being turned into pure dust with a giant hammer.

Noah's incredibly fast progression had left the Blood Progenitor in surprise, something that not even him has reached in the past so easily and fast!

Noah was indeed being helped by all the strength he had accumulated this time, which was unrightfully stole from him!

But what could the Blood Progenitor even do about this? He was being forced to serve Noah, as a mere second mind, which was simply inferior to him and could not even take over him forcefully!

Most of his power was stolen, he had no choice but to lament his powerlessness and hope for Noah to one day have some kind of brain tumor and be left in a vegetative state, so he could take over him.

But even while Noah slept, it was impossible to him…

So perhaps, he should just give up already…

"Noah-sama, your strength, and aura… it all feels way higher, way more… venerable!" said Iris.

"This is really weird… But it does indeed feels like that as if I were being dragged into… adoring you like an idol… So this is the effect of a progenitor over his converted vampires…" said Arthur.

"Indeed, Noah-sama feels way more venerable…" said Timassa.

"Master…" said Jon, kneeling over Noah immediately.

"So glorious…" said Adamantine.

"So this is the effect of becoming a Vampire Noble as well? I become more… admirable or whatever?" said Noah.

"This just shows that you were still rather weak on your authority over your converted slaves! It would be a good chance to convert more into your creed, and completely control them as your slaves!" said the Blood Progenitor.

"Hmph, that might be a good plan… But not now," said Noah to the Blood Progenitor.

"Fear not, although my influence in you has increased, I will not force you to do stupid things nor ridiculous things. …And I am talking to you as well, Iris, stop looking at me as if I were some kind of appetizer…" sighed Noah, as he glanced at Iris almost drooling by admiring Noah's 'beauty'.

"Haahh… It's just… Your splendor makes so… so excited…" said Iris.

Noah sighed once more.
