In the command tower, the teachers and deans were all excited. The final battle was finally coming.
Li Hao smiled. “We’re going to find out how calm and determined the students are.”
“That’s right!” Zhong Li stroked his beard and said, “It remains to be seen whether they will pee their pants or fight the enemy when they are faced with the army of prisoners.”
“Sometimes, courage is more important than talent,” said Li Hao solemnly.
“That’s why valiance and bloodthirstiness are also tested in this match.” Zhong Li laughed and looked at Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan, who were leading the army of students.
He truly did not see it coming that it would be two girls who led the students to fight the army of prisoners.
But it didn’t matter. Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan would be his students anyway. They were not going anywhere.
“Dean Li Hao, should we ask some doctors to go to the nearest safe area?” asked one of the teachers worriedly. Teleportation wristbands did not guarantee absolute safety.
According to statistics, a hundred students had been killed, and ten times more were heavily wounded, since the test started.
If a group fight began, the number of casualties would definitely soar.
After all, what the students were faced with was a bunch of unforgivable prisoners who had been sentenced to death.
Besides, the prisoners were enraged and unafraid of death. Even though they were outnumbered, their combat ability was still much greater than the students’.
Li Hao nodded and said, “Inform the medics to go to this safe area and treat the students who do not have time to use their teleportation wristbands.”
Soon, Li Hao’s order was passed on, and a bunch of medical staff gathered in the safe area.
Suddenly, Zhong Li noticed Wang Hao, who just left his room, on the monitor. He had felt that Wang Hao was not satisfied yet and wanted more points.
But up until now, Wang Hao made no other moves, which puzzled Zhong Li. Did Wang Hao feel that he had enough?
“That’s not right. This little fox can’t be giving up so easily.” Zhong Li shook his head.
“Dean Zhong, aren’t you too sensitive?” Li Hao frowned and said, “Wang Hao is by himself anyway. Also, he has been training in seclusion the past two days. What can he do?”
Zhong Li scratched his chin. “If you think he won’t do anything, why did he give Xi Rongxuan the drug?”
“Well...” Li Hao was lost for words. He said uncertainly, “Does Wang Hao intend to poison the students so that Xi Rongxuan can escape?”
“He has too many tricks up his sleeve. You never know what he’s thinking until the last moment.” Zhong Li sighed helplessly. They had no idea what Wang Hao was capable of at all.
Wang Hao was like an enigma. Whenever they thought that they understood him, he would always demonstrate more unimaginable skills.
For example, back on Earth, a high school student couldn’t have used a Natural technique at all, but Wang Hao proved that he could.
Also, who could’ve believed that a high school student was a level-three Medical Grandmaster?
...
The army of students encountered the army of prisoners.
Xia Weiwei stood before the students like a magnificent general. Opposing her were prisoners led by Xi Rongxuan.
“Prisoners over there, listen up! Hand over your points obediently, and you can live a few more days, but if you refuse... Humph!” Xia Weiwei smashed her giant sword into the ground, leaving cracks everywhere.
Xi Rongxuan’s pupils constricted. He found it impossible to understand the world anymore.
He knew Xia Weiwei, who was in the same school as Wang Hao, but she hadn’t been so strong before!
Did something happen to Earth in the past half a month that enhanced everybody?
Boom! Boom!
Right then, a streak of fire descended from the sky between the two armies. On closer look, it was none other than Wang Hao and his mecha wolf.
“Wang Hao, what are you doing here?” Xia Weiwei looked at Wang Hao warily. Though Wang Hao was alone, he was famous for his shamelessness. Who could tell what he was up to?
“Nothing!” Wang Hao shrugged and got out of the mecha wolf. He was slightly disappointed by Xi Rongxuan’s army. “There are only 300,000 people. Minus 50,000 people, I can only get 2,500,000 points in total.”
Everybody’s lips twitched. Did he have any idea what he was talking about? Was he planning to devour all 300,000 prisoners?
Before they realized it, Wang Hao had opened a bottle full of a scarlet drug, which vaporized the moment it touched the air.
Xi Rongxuan’s pupils constricted. Remembering the drug that Wang Hao gave to him, he drank it quickly after a brief hesitation.
Le Xuan frowned and also drank a bottle of the drug.
If she remembered correctly, the drug that Wang Hao just used was the drug that he made with Xue Qianqin’s blood during the inter-school contest.
He had planned to apply it in the final battle of the inter-school contest, but nobody dared to fight Wang Hao when he was so strong, so it was never used.
Since they were on the same team, Wang Hao had given antidotes to Le Xuan and Xia Weiwei, and Le Xuan had been carrying it ever since, in case Wang Hao took advantage of her with the poison.
“This drug looks familiar, doesn’t it?” Xia Weiwei tilted her head and thought hard.
“It’s the drug that Wang Hao made. Where’s your antidote?” Le Xuan said in a hurry.
Xia Weiwei was suddenly enlightened. She hurried to drink the antidote without any hesitation.
“Ugh...”
All of a sudden, all the students and prisoners blushed and fell, without the strength to even talk anymore. They were all scared and did not know what was going on.
In the meantime, a red fog creeped across the sky and soon covered the surrounding hundred square kilometers.
〈〈Ding-dong. The host has successfully poisoned others. Reward: 5,000,000 Villain Points!〉〉
Ignoring the System, Wang Hao looked at Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan, who did not collapse, in surprise. A moment later, he finally remembered that he had given them antidotes during the inter-school contest.
“Well, well...” Xi Rongxuan trembled in excitement. The unconscious students were definitely leverage for him to negotiate with the Four Focused Colleges.
“You’re quite smart!” Wang Hao sized up Xi Rongxuan and began to collect the points of the 300,000 prisoners.
Xi Rongxuan looked at Wang Hao’s back, wondering if he should kill Wang Hao. With Wang Hao’s talent, his identity as a level-three Medical Grandmaster, and his cunning personality, he could definitely make a nightmarish enemy.
However, Xi Rongxuan lost his courage when he remembered Wang Hao’s combat ability. Forget it. I might as well get out of here first.
