Chapter 64: Human-shaped T-Rex
Chapter 64: Human-shaped T-Rex
On Ganda, the mecha wolf descended from the sky and landed. Wang Hao got down from the cockpit and shook his dizzy head.
Though he could control the mecha wolf, he could activate few functions besides the two machine guns on the shoulder.
Also, the mecha wolf consumed too much mental energy. Wang Hao was dizzy and felt like throwing up after a short flight.
No wonder they allow mecha in the game. It’s really difficult to control without the assistance of AI. Wang Hao sat down and took a rest.
Mecha was an ultimate weapon on the battlefield for the Universal Federation.
However, once it was hacked, it would aim at its allies and slaughter its own people.
To avoid that, the Universal Federation had invented a method to control the mecha with the human brain, or mental energy.
As a result, the demand on the pilot became very high. But it was nothing compared to the losses in war. After all, the Universal Federation’s population was high enough for pilots to be picked.
Since using mecha was very difficult, mecha pilots became special professionasl. Only those with higher cultivation could use the advanced mecha.
Yet, some warriors could defeat mecha with their weapons. There were some famous battles between mecha users and martial warriors.
In the end, everybody agreed that mecha was only a weapon, and that it was up to the pilot how powerful the weapon was.
Crack! Crack!
Suddenly, Wang Hao heard a tiny noise. He rose and looked around. “Who’s there?”
“A kid from a rich family...”
Four ferocious men approached him aggressively. Anyone would be angry if they were thrown as prety to a bunch of students who were no stronger than sheep, let alone such heinous criminals.
“I thought you would be stronger than Level-Two Martial Apprentices.” Wang Hao snorted and drew his laser sword, not intending to use the giant sword at all.
Even though weapons had been distributed to the prisoners, they barely posed any threat to Wang Hao.
“You’re rather bold, kid. You’re not using your mecha?” The man in the lead sniffed while the saber in his hand hummed. Then, it suddenly darted toward Wang Hao.
“Boring!” Wang Hao warmed up his body and suddenly disappeared with his Natural Lightning Gait.
Pu!
In the next second, blood splashed, and the man in the lead collapsed with confusion all over his face.
He could not understand why he only saw Wang Hao’s shadow but not the boy himself when he died.
“Gulu...”
The other three prisoners swallowed. The cold aura of killing around them made them shiver.
They were absolutely certain that it was a Natural gait, but how could a high school student have been capable of it?
Pu!
Blood spewed.
Before the three prisoners figured out why, they sensed pain on their necks, then fell and lost consciousness.
〈〈Ding-dong. The host has killed others. Reward: 40,000 Villain Points in total.〉〉
Wang Hao’s eyes glowed. He forgot that killing meant Villain Points. Though he felt guilty about attacking civilians, he was fine with killing prisoners.
Thinking about that, Wang Hao quickly scanned the black wristbands of the prisoners and earned forty points in total.
“I’ve earned forty points so easily. It seems that I will be rich in everyone’s minds after I go to Empyrean North University.” Wang Hao jumped on the mecha wolf and searched for prisoners on the desolate planet.
...
Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan were riding a floating motorbike in the wilderness.
Since the whole planet was built into a match ground, the Four Focused Colleges had provided vehicles for students so that they could be faster.
“Xia Weiwei, stop touching me.” Le Xuan glared at Xia Weiwei who was seated behind her. The violent girl was not only unbelievably strong but also particularly interested in beautiful girls. Now, her hands were slowly moving up Le Xuan’s waist.
“You’re so petty!” Xia Weiwei pouted unhappily.
“Huh? Enemies!” Le Xuan frowned and quickly stopped the motorbike. Two prisoners appeared and came at them aggressively.
With gold light flashing in her eyes, Xia Weiwei drew the giant sword on her back and leaped so powerfully that the air squeaked and the sword sparkled.
“Hoooo!”
Xia Weiwei roared and smashed her sword on one of the prisoners.
BOOM!
After an enormous earthquake, cracks appeared on the ground.
“Argh...”
The prisoner squeezed out a last syllable, before he was reduced to a pulp of meat.
“Well, well...” The other prisoner was so shocked that he soiled himself. That was not a high school student, but a human-shaped T-Rex!
“Xia Weiwei, can you be a little gentler? This is disgusting!” While gagging, Le Xuan drew her revolver and shot at the second prisoner, except that she did not use a real bullet but one made of her spiritual energy.
“I was already gentle. I did not even use one-tenth of my strength,” said Xia Weiwei, feeling wronged. She had become very strong since she received the family heritage.
Le Xuan shook her head and collected the prisoners’ points, before they rode the motorbike away.
...
The teachers and headmasters of the Four Focused Colleges were observing the picture taken by satellites in the command tower in the safe areas.
They needed to find the talented candidates among the nearly five million students.
As for their cultivation?
No teachers would pay attention to that. After all, the students were from a level-one planet, and they were generally at a low level.
Principal Zhong Li was also in the room, but unlike the other teachers who were busy searching for talents, he enjoyed his afternoon tea casually, which made the other teachers scorn him.
Li Hao was a dean of Western Brilliance University. Because he was careful and responsible, Western Brilliance University had appointed him to select talented students.
Li Hao had been very angry with Zhong Li, who was responsible for Empyrean North University, since he came to the command tower.
How could Zhong Li be so at ease? He was being irresponsible toward the students as well as the Four Focused Colleges...
