Undying Warlord

Chapter 660 Throwing Gods

"He is really your Loverboy, Princess? Didn't you say that he disappeared 27 years ago…and that he was already at the Peak of the third Tier…he was—..." The Brawler Saint Ilia, also called Silver Chicken, gasped while pointing at Dilan.

Goldy's expression finally crumbled and she used some of her Power to fling Ilia several kilometers through the air, "Shut it!"

"Please ignore them, they're…idiots…" Goldy, or Ariel Silvertale, also known as Princess of Haven, said hurriedly.

Dilan nodded his head with a wry smile before he pointed at the Soul Contract.

"Once you sing, I will answer your questions, no matter what. But you will have more questions the more you ask, just so you know…and the answers might not be pleasant to hear," He pointed out before he added, "and I would like to move the flying island immediately because the Sun God's territory will turn into a warzone because he is dead now."

"You guys were just too greedy to get your hands on his Divine Relict because you could have overwhelmed the other Alliances with it, or am I wrong?" Dilan added, smiling lightly at Ariel. She was still a little baffled, staring at him with an open mouth. It looked like she wanted to say something but no word escaped her mouth.

This rarely happened to the Princess of Haven. In fact, it hadn't happened for a very long time, precisely since the day the Powers had chosen her as her Apostle…

Without saying a word, Ariel Silvertale signed the contract that came into effect immediately.

Dilan received a notification from the System and he nodded his head. The Soul Contract worked as expected.

He opened the Divinity Messenger Board, entered the chat of the Undying Group -Flying Island- and entered a short message.

[I am alive, made a deal with the Princess of Haven and we can enter their territory without anyone bothering us. The flying island remains our territory. So just slaughter the invaders, who come without reason or permission. #MissionComplete #SafetyFirst #NoComplaints]

Dilan was trying to ease everyone's tension with the hashtags, and it worked out…just not as he had expected. He received a massive flood of messages in the next ten seconds, mostly from Lara, Marie, Siegfried, and the others, scolding him for leaving just like that.

Dilan's lips twitched looking at the messages but he couldn't help but smile. He felt good seeing how much they worried about his well-being.

Being able to heal infinitely was one thing but being able to heal infinitely and others still caring about his well-being was something he could hardly describe.

It would be easier to accept if everyone were to try exploiting him with comments like 'you won't die either way', 'it will heal in a few seconds, don't be like this.', and 'how can you be so selfish? You have the powers but you're not using them for us!'

Dilan knew that there would be people like this, Ascenders who would make efforts to exploit him. However, that was fine with him. He knew that such people would come, and it was not as if he was helpless against them.

As long as the flying island was fine and everyone was living on it, he could cope with it.

The 'fight' against the three Archangel Lesser Gods was a little bit different than expected, it was weird if one wanted to put it like this, but Dilan was still in a good mood.

Why? Because he was able to get his hands on a great deal in exchange for the truth. There was nothing he really had to hide, so the truth was actually not worth mentioning for Dilan.

"Before you ask, I finished my Tier-4 Advancement mission not long before I sent you the message on the Divinity Messenger Board," Dilan pointed out before Ariel Silvertale could say something.

She looked at him and opened the Divinity Messenger Board only a moment later.

It was only then that she saw a new message.

"...Oh."

"I saw your messages as well…I hope you didn't have it too hard!"

Dilan might have a few questions for Ariel Silvertale, especially when it came to the day she proposed to him to abandon the system, but he felt like that could wait.

Ariel Silvertale couldn't hurt him or anyone who was officially considered a citizen of the flying island anymore. In fact, all subordinates of the Princess of Haven were not allowed to hurt him or his people anymore.

That was written in the Soul Contract and Ariel Silvertale would have to follow everything written down in the contract.

It might seem a little bit extreme for someone to sign such a disadvantageous Soul Contract, but Ariel Silvertale had sensed Dilan's talent even before getting to know his name or the fact that he was in possession of the Divine occupation. He was also in possession of the Divine Relict.

Adding a few facts that included her intuition, Ariel Silvertale was certain that the Soul Contract with Dilan was extremely cheap and more than worth it. In fact, after she got to know who Dilan was and that he had returned as Tier-4 Ascender not too long ago, Ariel Silvertale was even more sure that Dilan was actually on the losing side of the Soul Contract.

However, Dilan didn't care about losing or winning as long as he was able to get his hands on the things he desired!

"Shall we go then?" Dilan asked, trying to avoid an even more awkward situation. Ariel Silvertale didn't really say much and Rooster..eh..Tenur was staring at Dilan and Ariel with a bright mischievous smile.

The Holy Guard Archangel was just about to open his mouth when Ariel Silvertale snapped with her finger. A mysterious force pulled at Tenur's six wings.

Dilan looked at this with interest and he witnessed how the Lesser God was flung through the air before he disappeared in the clouds several kilometers away.

"That's definitely one way to make sure that people shut their mouth…"
