Chapter 62: Homing Fury Bolt, Erasure



"Huh?" Aleron's eyebrows jumped as he didn't even feel anything. 'I guess this armor is too tough for him.'

The seemingly slick semi-jelly armor completely blocked Turthar's attack.

"Try this," Aleron grinned and punched again as he swung his fist forward.

*Swoosh!*

'Too simple,' Turthar snorted.

However, his eyes rolled upward while getting bloodshot in the next second as he suddenly felt an impact right between his legs because... Aleron's half-arm had vanished into a strange tiny portal that was connected to another portal that appeared between his legs.

'Awesome!' Aleron grinned as he successfully used the 'Wormholes' he created, connecting his attack. There wasn't much knowledge of space, but he had observed and read enough to comprehend Space Syllabus on his own.

Aleron's fist emerged from there and struck Turthar, shattering his exoskeleton with a massive impact as a loud crunchy sound of his something bursting along with a sonic boom echoed.

Turthar shot upward like a bullet with his expression horrified and painful. 'What the hell is going on?!'

'Why is he that powerful?! That energy...don't tell me it is Magilore?!!

He had only sensed Magilore recently, but couldn't see or touch it, let alone use it! But here he was, seeing it in the hands of a Legendary-rank human.

'How?! What's going on with that kid?!'

Suddenly, he felt danger bells ringing and glanced below as he saw Aleron with his bow nocking another arrow.

Aleron's eyes glinted as he designed the arrow, but this time, it was with the intention to kill this demon.

He also activated the bow's effects-Echo Mirage and Vorpal Point.

Echo Mirage: Enchant an arrow. When it impacts, the same will be conjured without consumption of any energy, but having 100% of the original arrow's powers.

Vorpal Point: Designate a target. If the arrow right after using Vorpal Point strikes the target, it will ignore a certain amount of defense and increase the power of the arrow.

'Arrow: Homing Fury Bolt,' Aleron's eyes sharply glinted. 'My Magic Potency is just 5000 while that demon has it above 500k and also has considerable Mana.'

Aleron could see that this demon had pills that restored his Mana. He must have done that right after using that Voracious Maw because he could see that this demon had recovered his Mana.

'This should do it.'

'An Arrow with 50 million Magilore utilized in it.'

An unnerving and palpitating aura released from the flickering light blue arrow with cyan sparks that looked ethereal and dreamy.

Turthar saw it and desperation appeared in his eyes for the first time. 'Why?! Why does he have Magilore?!'

'How can he wield it like this and have this much amount?!' Turthar couldn't believe his eyes as he floated a kilometer above, feeling as if his death was written on that arrow.

Without thinking anymore, Turthar burst out with all of his power as his demonic wings shone, and....he escaped with all his might.

"Not today," Aleron narrowed his eyes and released the arrow.

Turthar who had already flown a couple of kilometers away and was crossing distance at his full speed suddenly felt a chill crawling his back and captured the arrow coming at him within his soul sense rang.

It was flying right behind him, about to catch him.

'Bastard! He even used Soul force to mark me and designed the arrow such that it will follow me?!'

Turthar's eyes couldn't help but produce a hint of despair amidst desperation.

He needed an obstacle to block this arrow and make it impact something else other than him.

There was a way to do that too.

Unfortunately, he was high in the sky and the arrow's speed was too fast.

Before he could go down to use some mountain or any other obstacle to escape, the Arrow struck him.

'I'm dead,' Turthar's eyes reflected the whole battle in that instance before regret appeared in his mind. He didn't measure his opponents. If he did, he would have escaped from the start instead of fighting and could live.

*Chriii...Crackle!*

Echo Mirage activated and blasted the second arrow at the same spot even though Turthar was already, completely erased.

*Boom!*

'First gacha quest of the day complete,' Aleron smiled.

A large phenomenon of beautiful yet destructive lightning with strange waves of colorful sparks exploded in the sky a few kilometers away from the city as if some grand fireworks, but that was not all. A large hole in space appeared at Turthar's location, creating a harrowing void with silver-milky horizontal flow behind it.

The colorful lightning tendrils and sparks around this void made this scene look beautiful yet terrifying.

Rias, Roxen, Melkern, Bergetta, all members of the Aurspec clan, and many people of the city watched that phenomenon of utter destruction on a large scale, their eyes stupefied with no

exception.

The explosion's shockwaves spread to the whole city and all other areas as powerful winds blew and clouds raged.

Although people didn't know what was happening at first, it didn't take long for them to know the situation. When Turthar and Aleron talked a bit in the sky, everyone clearly knew that a powerful Demon had arrived in the city and this news also spread fast.

An unknown group was defending them while trying to kill the demon.

As such, cheers rang out amidst the city when they saw the beautiful yet destructive explosion

in the sky that confirmed the demon's death beyond doubt.

"I am not dreaming, right?" Roxen blankly looked at Aleron as she mumbled.

Rias dazedly shook her head, "I knew he was very powerful, but this much..."

Yueha, Mei, Hua, and Fang surrounded Aleron with varying but all jolly expressions.

"You all did good holding on," Aleron smiled as he put away the bow into the inventory. "But we still have the unfinished work of cleaning this city," Aleron said as he looked below at

the whole city.

"Mr. Aleron."

Melker, Bergetta, Lake, James, and a few other powerhouses arrived there.

Yueha and others stood beside Aleron as they faced the incoming group.

"Thank you for the help. If it wasn't for you, this city would have turned into our graveyard," Melkern sighed as he seemed to have aged a few years since his first appearance.

"No need for thanks," Aleron said with a laugh. "I am just doing what I like. And now, I need to do one more thing, so I hope you'll help me with that."

"Just tell us and we shall give our utmost to aid you," Bergetta said with a bow and charming smile at Aleron. 'If the House of Dark Rose can have ties with this group....I must do my best!' Mei's eyes coldly shone as she looked at her. 'Yue, vixen eyes on Master.'

Yueha internally snorted as she glanced away from Bergetta, 'Humph, that woman got no chance. No worries.'

"What would you like us to do?" Melkern respectfully asked as he looked at Aleron.

"Well..." Aleron's eyes faintly glowed before everyone saw a bigger version of the city's 3D model map.

"I've noted some good places in this city, so I want to enjoy some time here. But before that- 'Aleron smiled as the city's 3D map started changing, "-let's clean the city to my liking first,

shall we?"

Everyone looked at the map and saw something appearing above all the tiny humanoid-

shaped dots that indicated the city's people.

Marks.

Most of the marks were White and Yellow, both looking like trees and flowers while a small percentage of the marks consisted of Red and Black, both looking skulls.
