In the palace's upper-floor garden, Aleron sat at a round table in the small open pavilion.
A bunch of pills and empty potion vials settled on the table before him.
Aleron had already chugged the potions to increase his physical stats and was digesting their effects by meditating.
Mortal-rank Strength Potion, Agility Potion, Stamina Potion, and Health Potion.
But he was not alone. Odar was sitting right beside him while Darzax sat across them with a bunch of books on the table, reading about this world's history, geography, and other information.
He had also commanded the strongest 50 Vampires and Werewolves of Legendary rank under him to create the Shadow Displace formation in the city.
"Haah...."
Aleron opened his eyes after a few seconds as he finished digesting the potion and felt ten times more powerful than before, feeling his body in its best shape and condition ever!

Darzax smiled and put down the book before both of them vanished into the table's shadow and emerged from the shadow of a tree in the small forest two kilometers away from the capital city.

Darzax had stored all the item-type treasures in his Shadow Pocket, a sort of inventory. He also couldn't find anything above Epic-rank worthwhile. There were only a few legendary- rank items, but not very valuable in his eyes, and nothing useful as a catalyst for him to do summoning.
As for various magical resources, Darzax ordered the best Alchemists in the kingdom to use them and turn them into consumables.
The Alchemy House of the kingdom was fully busy at the moment as everyone inside was working to produce pills and potions.
Since they had turned into Vampires, Werewolves, and ghouls, they could work more than their previous human selves.
"This sword is good, my lord," Darzax took out a strange golden sword.
It was strange because its blade wasn't made of metal, but a rough golden beam. It had a rough texture, unlike a sleek light-saber and it didn't even look like a laser, but it was an energy-structure nonetheless.
"This is a Light-elemental sword of Epic-rank. Other Epic-rank weapons are too heavy and have requirements while the few Legendary-rank weapons we have are not something you can wield at the moment, but this one is as light as a feather and deadlier than most," Darzax said with a smile.
"Great," Aleron said with a laugh and grabbed the sword's dark golden metallic hilt.
After grabbing the sword, Aleron eagerly waited for a new banner to open.
However, five seconds passed by and nothing happened, making him frown.
"What happened, my lord?" Darzax asked upon seeing Aleron standing and frowning instead of going to kill the sleeping Earthen Plate Bear 30 meters away.

But the moment he was within 10 meters range of the Earthen Plate Bear, its ears twitched and it woke up.

Seeing Aleron, it made a dash towards him with its crystal-brown claws and patterns on its Earthen-plated body shining.
Aleron was surprised, but he stood his ground and narrowed his eyes before pointing his palm
at Bear.
'Grimbolt Spear-50 Mana.'
His left hand transformed instantly before a deadly Grimbolt Spear shot into his shadow and emerged from the Bear's shadow before striking its body.
The Bear's momentum was lost and it tumbled forward while it was severely injured in its
belly.
Aleron waved his right hand that wielded the Light-elemental sword at the Bear who stopped just one meter away from him after tumbling.
*Swoosh!*
The sword's blade passed through this level 38 Elite-rank Bear's head like a knife cutting through butter, killing it swiftly.
