Chapter 477 477: Auric Galaxy: Storm Calling
Chapter 477 477: Auric Galaxy: Storm Calling
There was a small shockwave released from the glowing ring that was floating in front of Cole. It was just about the size of a hand band but still, Cole could feel gravity in constant flux, as the ring looked like a constantly flowing river of golden light.
"So now what?"
[Auric Galaxy Technique: : a circular ring of infinite and perpetuating gravity. Within the confines of the rings, the laws and states of gravity can be manipulated and controlled. Push, pull, compress, and expand.]
Cole looked at the ring again, with a thought he summoned another one similar to the first, and far faster than before now that he had the technique. He spun them around himself lazily for a bit before bringing them to hover over his palm as Lyren came over.
"That's it? All this time for two glowing friendship bracelets you should-oof!"
The two rings pointed in Lyren's direction as Cole made them push out gravity. Given their small frame it was like getting hit with a tank shell, and Lyren was only alive because he was not like normal pups….or Mechanoids, or Animechs. Guess the dog was all that and more.
Cole picked the pup up, feeling guilty a bit as he expanded the rings from the size of a bangle to the size of a shield, and then he began to spin both rings, altering them to pull. The moment he did so, the center of the rings developed a black hole.
Cole's eyes almost popped out of his head as the rings began to suck up everything in sight. Cole watched as the clothes went into the ring and…. Nothing came out the other end. All that was left was strips of clothes ruined from the force of the black hole tearing them apart.
"Well if you can do that all this time why the hell have we been running?" Lyren asked, as it walked towards Cole who stopped using the technique.
"You talk too much." Cole said to Lyren as he crossed his legs, continuing his floating about, as he shifted his focus to the next skill. In all honesty it didn't take him. Too long to figure the technique out, and this was because he was already quite familiar with it, as for the next technique?
It gave him a more direct method of attack. The Storm Calling technique sounded very....magical. or whatever the hell it was, ultimately though Cole knew this was the core of his world Storm skill. It was so sad he lost it when he was just getting to like it, and that was when Cole finally realized it.
He was great at close quarters combat but that had never been his strong point. Reach, in battle Cole had a lot of reach and could deal with multiple opponents at once. His domain and domain based skills let him attack hundreds of not thousand at the same time causing massive swathes of destruction in the process.
In gaming terms he would be a CC/AOE/DPS specialist. His biggest strength, at least right now from what he could see was to figure out a way to make every battlefield he finds himself in his own backyard.
But perhaps it was too early to assume, the Cosmic stat truly was a heavy hitter but given the theme of the [Auric Galaxy ] seems more centered on AOE techniques, there was more but, but he was not sure he would be able to explore the other techniques. After all the slots were only three and he was about to comprehend the second for the skill.
These were things he was familiar with, but with three slots, he needed to be a bit more careful of what technique goes into the cosmic stat. [Gravity Rings] had more potential for damage and [Storm Calling] would most definitely be about a domain skill or an AOE damage skill, it was time to see what it really was.
Somehow he understood it almost immediately, perhaps it was because he had already comprehended a technique so understanding of the skill and the stat was a lot deeper than before.
Cole clapped his hands together and released a shockwave that spread from him. Rapidly storm clouds began to form above his head and subsequently started raining down thick bolts of silver blue lightning along with white flashes of cutting wind as the entire interior of the commercial washing machine was ruined by the rain of thunderstorms.
"OOoooowwww!"
Cole chuckled, if he could get Azrael stuck in one place long enough, the. The dude was fried. Using the [Gravity Rings] to hold and opponent in place and then the [Storm Calling] technique to rain down the wrath of God…or in this case the wrath of Cole on his enemies.
The synergy was amazing, and this was just one stat! He shuddered to imagine what the rest could do and apparently this was not the strongest it could be. Cole's range had been severely reduced from kilometers to mere hundreds of meters, however the power he could bring to bear was more…so much more.
[You Have Comprehend Auric Galaxy Technique by 100%]
[You Have Comprehended The Technique ]
Cole smiled, it looked like he was smiling a lot lately. Either ways Azrael should make another attempt in his life once again and see just what Cole had in store for him. He shook his neck from side to side, now that he had those down, normally what should come next would be the Divination stat technique. But no way in hell was he messing with that, so all that's left is do as Lyren said and attach him to a stat and maybe Black Malakai, Methuselah and Azazel into another.
Well no time like the present, but the question here was that out of all six stats which one of them would he slot Lyren into. Either ways he still had a bit of time to figure that out, but no matter how he looked at it, only one stat seemed viable to hold a creature or chaos like Lyren.
