He wished for wings, but before he could acquire them, they were ripped away from his back, and his dreams were shattered alongside the last sanity remaining within him—the sanity that made him keep his composure and kept him calm at all times. What Anna has done has made Heisenberg grow madder than ever before. Nobody had ever made him this angry—not even his kidnappers, not even the injustices he suffered!

“I have worked so hard to accomplish it... And you took that away from me.” Heisenberg continued to cry tears of blood, his eyes glowing with crimson and black light. “Unforgivable… You’re truly a monster. How could you? How could you do such a thing to me?!”

Full of arrogance and selfishness, Heisenberg could only think of himself at this moment, thinking of his situation as pitiable. Despite all the murders he had committed, all the people he had eaten while he was hiding from society, and all the terrible things he had done, without any remorse at all, Now that something bad was finally happening to him, he considered it awful. It had happened to him many times before, but after he walked outside of that laboratory, he thought of himself as invincible.

“You’re one hell of a psychopath if you think that what I’ve done to you is an injustice!” Anna roared; she was thrown down but quickly regained her footing across the skies, her angelic and demonic wings harnessing her Mana as they flapped rapidly, rushing into the skies. Her two powerful swords glowed with celestial and demonic energy.

As Heisenberg saw Anna drawing closer, he started to panic. Deep down, a trauma had been inflicted upon him, like a vulnerable child that was trying to accomplish his goal of all life. She took that away; she stabbed him when he was merely a fetus! What a horrendous person! He couldn’t even see her without feeling both anger and fear! His lips trembled as his eyes distorted with a swirl of chaotic emotions.

“G-Get… Get away… Don’t you dare come closer! GO AWAY!”

His screams not only carried his strong emotions, swirling around one another, but were even further intensified by the Demonic Power his now-wounded Body and Soul could not handle properly anymore. The Demon King Seed implanted on him by a mysterious Void Ruler was now beginning to affect him negatively, instead of simply allowing him to blossom into a natural disaster—the sort of disaster he always envisioned himself to be.

“I’m not getting away.”

Anna’s eyes glowed with divine and demonic light, and her Aura surged, fusing with her Cosmic Energy and her Celestial and Demonic Forces, swirling together into a mass of stars and black and white light, resembling an ever-growing nebula surrounding her.

Her {Radiance} converged with her Aura, quickly transforming her powers; dozens of gigantic crimson snakes surged out of her {Radiance Aura}, hissing furiously against Heisenberg’s attacks, which echoed as screams that shook the heavens tremendously.

Anna’s crimson snakes were easily crushed as the invisible shockwaves coming from Heisenberg’s endless screams of pain utterly destroyed them before they could get a single centimeter closer to him. She quickly started to consider that, despite having interrupted his metamorphosis into a Demon King, Heisenberg had still gained at least one-quarter of a Demon King’s power.

Enough to help his own developing {Radiance} evolve even further, and that’s without considering the explosive and near-endless source of demonic energy the Demon King Seed gave to the vessels that carried it!

“His screams can generate such powerful shockwaves! Was this even the intended power he would get? No, this is something he just acquired out of his utter despair." Anna thought, feeling slightly guilty. “If only I could have saved you like Baihe... But you’ve fallen far too low, Heisenberg. Even if it costs everything I have, I need to stop you.”

Anna didn’t really have any other option anyway; she knew based on the novel’s knowledge that every world that once gave birth to a Demon King was quickly destroyed, becoming mere Fragments of Abandoned Worlds, Dungeons.

And it was from these Dungeons that these Demon Kings, most of them still alive and stranded across the cosmos, would eventually arrive on Earth. However, throughout the story, there was never an opportunity for a Demon King to be born here. She never imagined that Heisenberg was the perfect vessel for one this entire time, due to having only been some minor villain that was quickly forgotten after dying by her brother’s hands!

“This is all my fault... The changes I’ve brought to this world have only made things even harder,” Anna thought. “But it was a price I was willing to pay to save our world, and even now, I don’t regret it!”

Killing a Constellation on the First Awakening was only the beginning; Anna had to completely change how everything went so Earth could even have an opportunity to be saved at the end. And she would do so without any hesitation. No matter what,.

“RAAAAH!”

With a furious roar, Anna erupted with all her powers, her Skills activating one after another, and as they manifested, fusing their effects into her own {Radiance Aura}, dozens of golden, crimson, and black stars materialized around her.

“{Cosmic Domain}: {Celestial Novas}! {Demonic Stars}! {Chaotic Suns}!”

The endless barrage of cosmic energy-fueled projectiles reached Heisenberg, managing to pierce through his invisible barrier made out of the shockwaves generated from his own screams and engulfing his entire body in consecutive explosions!

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Heisenberg felt agonizing pain as his incomplete body started to fall into pieces, too frail after having its metamorphosis interrupted. The immense portal that opened above him started flickering; the more damage he took, the smaller it grew! As long as he were to die, the portal would disappear, and the city would be saved from being swarmed.

“It hurts…! Ahhh, mother… It hurts so much! Mother… Why did you have to leave me?! MOTHER!!!”

The mad, incomplete Demon King grasped his own skin with his claws and started tearing it apart, blood splattering everywhere and beginning to swirl around him, without falling into the city.

“What is he doing?! He’s calling for his mother?!” Anna muttered. “Wait, that’s right.”

Anna quickly remembered one bit of information she got from the novel—something the author truly never went into detail about. It was mentioned that Heisenberg was born into a very poor family and that his mother had died in front of him due to a terrible disease that ate away at her health. The worst part was that Heisenberg kept talking to his dead mother, even as worms and flies started swarming her and even when the corpse began smelling terribly.

“Motheerrrrrr…!!!”

Heisenberg gave one last scream. His entire body looked like a dried mummy, yet he remained alive, his blood and flesh swirling around him and quickly taking the shape of a beautiful woman with long hair and a wide bosom, her gigantic hands caressing him softly, protecting him from all the dangers of the outside world.

“Mother… Mother! You’re back…! You’re finally back with me.

He continued crying even as he looked like a dried corpse, hugging his mother. Anna didn’t know what to even think at this point; the sole thought of all he went through made her slightly guilty of what she was doing. But at the same time, she simply couldn’t stop now.

And in that moment of hesitation, perhaps due to how much empathy she often felt for others, especially tragic characters, Anna was caught off-guard. Heisenberg’s mother wasn’t just a decoration; her gigantic bloody fists pummeled down towards her with enough force to shatter her {Radiance} Barriers and punch right through them.

“I won’t let you touch my precious child.”

BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM! BAAAM!

“Fuck! Argh!”

Anna quickly defended herself using her armor and her gauntlet. Several layers of Abyssal Energy and Blood Energy encompassed her entire body, and her skin turned gray colored like steel, but even with all her defensive boosts...

CRASH!

“How strong is she?!”

Anna was quickly thrown back into the falling castle, clashing over the wooden ceiling and blowing away several pieces of rubble on her way down. She felt her shoulders having dislocated, and when she opened her eyes, both of her legs were broken.

“She’s tough… Did that thing absorb all of his demon king’s powers?”

As Anna wondered that, she gnashed her teeth and healed her wounds using her strongest spells combined with her Healing Touch Skill. The bones were not too broken, so as they healed, she felt a lot of pain. But she was getting used to it.

“Anna!”

Baihe and her group quickly reached her after what had happened; it was all so quickly they were unable to even fight themselves. From Heisenberg absorbing Beelzebub to Anna stopping him and then fighting him, no more than thirty seconds passed!

“Baihe, everyone…!” Anna slowly stood up, quickly looking into the skies again. The “Mother” was simply floating in midair, doing nothing but protecting her child; at the same time, the demonic gate only grew wider, and flying demons had already started pouring out.

Her Angelic Knight Spirits and her Demonic Knight Spirits, both of which she could summon using her [A Being Between Heaven and Earth (A Rank Privilege)] and [A Being Between Hell and Earth (A Rank Privilege)] Privileges immediately went to receive them, beginning to slay them while keeping themselves away from the big boss.

However, this was only buying her a couple of minutes at most, as the flood of demons would be so large it would eventually cover the skies completely. And these summoned spirits could only last a single hour and were only twenty at most. Things were looking pretty grim for her.

“Are you okay?! Did you have to go fight that thing on your own?!” Baihe resisted the impulse to smack Anna in the head for being so reckless.

“I’m sorry, but we don’t really have time to talk about these things leisurely!” Anna said, quickly beginning to fly back onto the floors above.

“Do you even have a plan to deal with that thing?!” Kevin asked him with an irritated voice. “I saw your brother and my sister coming towards us; we should join with them at the very least!”

“Big brother…” Anna quickly smiled. “You’re right. I shouldn’t just try to do all the things myself. I’ve got all of you here, and brother too.” They all climbed back to where they were—the last floor of this gigantic castle, whose ceiling was open, leading to the darkened, crimson skies.

“Big brother… Just what in the world did he become now?” Annabelle cried. “I never imagined he would go this far.”

“It is an ominous presence; it feels like it is trying to constantly encroach on my mind as if he were attempting to brainwash me and force me to obey.” Sara was resisting the powerful brainwashing abilities the Demon Kings had over monsters and demons. It seems that because he wasn’t complete and because she was under my influence, it wasn’t working, and it was only an annoyance.

“He… He absorbed Beelzebub and started to undergo a metamorphosis. Heisenberg seemed to have been destined to become something called a Demon King, forces of nature that embody the greatest sin of a world.” Anna explained. “I managed to interrupt his transformation, and with that, I’ve brought us some time. He’s not at his peak anymore, and he’s actually very frail. We have to simply find a way to break through his {Radiance} and that “mother” of his. And maybe we can win.”

“A Demon King?!”
