Chapter 817
The room was quiet. Aeria and Illyna were tangled up together, their nightgowns in complete disarray. Strange objects filled the space, and candles of unrecognizable shapes were scattered across the room.
“D-Davey?!”
“K… Kyaa!!!”
Aeria suddenly screaming and Illyna retreating in shock made them look like they were nervous newcomers caught off guard. Watching them panic, stopping whatever they were doing in a fluster, was strangely adorable.
“What’s all this?”
“Umm… Well…”
Davey saw strange restraints lying around, along with something that looked like a drill.
“Were you trying to take me down or something?” Davey asked with a pale face. Illyna scratched her cheek awkwardly, giving a sheepish smile.
“It’s... the heroes... They gave it to us,” she explained.
“Those guys...” Davey muttered, shaking his head. For a moment, he was worried they might have some unusual tastes, but his concern seemed unfounded.Davey sat down on a nearby chair, still dressed in his gown. He watched Illyna and Aeria, both sitting on their knees with faces flushed red. They were frozen in place, looking embarrassed beyond measure.
‘Well, this is just too good to pass up…’ Davey thought with a smirk.
Picking up a leather restraint, Davey grinned mischievously. “You know, I could put this to good use.”
“Eeock!” Aeria let out a loud hiccup, clearly flustered.
“R-Really…?” she squeaked.
“I’m just kidding,” Davey said. He knew teasing could be fun, but only when the mood was right.
“Are you both alright?” Davey asked calmly, still in his seat.
“Huh?”
“With this current situation.”
Illyna exchanged glances with Aeria before nodding.
“Originally, today was supposed to be Aeria’s day to celebrate the first night with you, not me.”
“I-It’s fine, Illyna!” Aeria said hurriedly.
“Still...”
“Per even said to never place a hierarchy on each other.”
Perserque had emphasized that consideration for each other was essential. That was all Davey needed to hear.
“But… Davey.”
“Hmm?”
“What... What do we do now?” Illyna stammered.
Davey sensed that Illyna wasn’t thinking straight. He let out a sigh, stood up, and picked up an ordinary statue sitting on one side of the room.
Crack!!
Without a word, he smashed it and tossed it out the window. He then turned to the empty corner of the room and glared menacingly.
“Let’s not cross any lines, you bastards. Trying to use aphrodisiac scents? Are you guys insane?” he growled. “That’s how you guys get yourselves on a registered list.”
“Tsk.”
“He’s too discerning.”
“Didn’t I say this guy would catch on?”
“It was our only chance to mess with him forever!”
“Oh, Goddess Freyja, are those lunatics even worthy of being called heroes?” Davey muttered to himself, watching as a few of the so-called heroes began slinking away with disappointment.
“You fucking crazy bastards!!”
Suddenly, Daphne arrived, storming onto the scene. She grabbed the troublemakers hiding in the grass, pulling them out by their ears. “There are limits to what’s acceptable! Do you want me to deal with you myself?!”
“Daphne, ow! You shouldn’t be the one talking about limits!”
“I concur!” one of them cried.
“Q-Quiet!”
Rho Aias soon appeared, effortlessly restraining the miscreants and lifting them into the air with a troubled expression before tossing them aside. Davey could tell that she was quite furious herself.
“Phew...” Davey sighed.
“Just get back to what you were doing, Davey,” Daphne said as she waved her hand and disappeared.
As he heard the screaming fade away, he locked the window and made sure to seal it. He then turned back to Illyna and Aeria. “That was an aphrodisiac scent, probably something Hypocria made. The effect is exactly what you’d expect.”
Illyna shifted uncomfortably, crossing her legs. “Uh… I was wondering why my body felt a little strange…”
“Ugh…”
Aeria trembled as he perked up her ears. She made a clearly embarrassed face, with her face flushed with shame, but her tail—something Davey hadn’t seen in a while—was swishing from side to side uncontrollably.
“D-Davey... Now what do we do?”
“Well… Do you want a drink?” Davey offered, hoping to calm the tense atmosphere. He then tried to pass them two glasses. But as they tried to get up, Illyna stumbled.
“Ow... I think I got a cramp in my leg...” Illyna winced.
It was almost comical that someone as powerful as Illyna—who could slice through dimensions with her swordsmanship—was complaining about leg cramps.
Sighing, Davey grabbed the bottle and sat on the bed beside them. Pouring the wine, he handed them their glasses. “Here.”
Then, he reached over and gently pulled her legs over to him.
“Wait... Already?!” she exclaimed, startled.
Contrary to her expectations, Davey slowly massaged her pale legs, pushing and pulling her toes to release the cramp. She moaned softly from the pain, but then soon relaxed as her muscles loosened.
“Errr…”
“Hold still. It’ll pass in a minute.”
Davey then noticed Aeria trembling—she also had cramps. As he touched her legs, she widened her eyes and perked her ears up once more. At the same time, her tail wagged side to side even faster than before. He figured she wasn’t saying what was exactly on her mind.
“Tell me if it hurts. Muscles are more sensitive than you think, so you have to massage them properly to avoid trouble later.”
Aeria nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. She winced as Davey massaged her but didn’t utter a sound. After he finished and relaxed both of them, Davey felt a wave of relief wash over him as well.
The room was quiet, and the three exchanged glances for a while. Then, unexpectedly, Illyna gulped and leaned forward, kissing Davey. After their short kiss, she wrapped her arms around his neck, gazing at him with a dazed expression.
“Davey… I…”
Even without the aphrodisiac scent, she seemed swept up in the moment. Her dazed expression made Davey feel like he was getting pulled into it as well. As he felt her soft touch, the sounds seemed more amplified than usual.
He had made a promise to be responsible for the two. And so, there was only one thing he had to do at the moment.
Gently, Davey caressed Illyna’s cheek and pulled her into his arms. She quickly surrendered herself to him.
And now…
Thud!!!
“...”
* * *
With a sudden explosion, the ground split apart as if an angry god had torn the earth apart with a massive earthquake. In an instant, the furniture in the room tumbled into the widening crevasse. Illyna was startled but quickly reacted, leaping to support herself on the still-intact part of the floor. Davey grabbed Aeria, who was about to fall, and pulled the two to a safer spot.
“Maybe I should’ve fallen too…” Illyna muttered.
Davey heard Illyna say gibberish even in the midst of the chaos, so he just ignored her and turned his head to see Rinne and Perserque quickly approaching.
“Davey!”
“What’s happening? What did those idiots do this time?”
“No! It’s the space itself—it's collapsing!” Perserque shouted.
His body tensed at her words.
“Collapsing? Even though this space is artificially created, it shouldn't be falling apart like this, right?” Davey asked.
Unfortunately, Perserque didn’t have the answer to his question—it was clear that something unusual was happening.
“Take them to a safe place. I’ll investigate the situation,” Davey instructed.
Illyna, flustered, hesitated. “T-Then…!”
“I’m sorry, but it’s not the right time.”
“Sigh…”
Illyna made a crestfallen face. Davey figured she was probably looking forward to this moment for a long time, but the sudden disaster had interrupted everything. He then noticed her eyes flicker with frustration and anger.
“Thanatos…” she said while gritting her teeth.
Leaving her behind, Davey headed toward where the heroes were gathered.
‘They should be there, where they always have their drinking parties all night long…’
But then, his thoughts suddenly cut off. It was because of an enormous pillar, from who knows where, blocking the way in front of him.
‘A pillar? No, it seems like a leg.’
It was a leg that was easily hundreds of kilometers tall. A metal giant towering into the sky was looking down at him.
"Ha... Seriously, this shameless bastard has no sense of decency."
Davey muttered while gritting his teeth. He then raised his arms to his side. Red and blue threads came flying to connect with his fingers, and something quickly flew to his hands.
He knew there was no way the heroes were taken down by the enormous giant.
Yet, they were silent.
It didn’t seem like the collapse was caused by the space itself, but rather by the appearance of this monstrous being.
Davey had no clear where it came from, but he knew one thing for sure: it had to be destroyed.
The towering metal giant noticed Davey, then raised an arm high into the sky to draw their sword.
“Blue Ribbon and Red Ribbon.”
In response to his voice, the two telekinetic blades came into his hands. Both swords radiated with terrifying sharpness and Arbit’s power. Davey, however, wasn’t entirely sure how his power affected Blue Ribbon and Red Ribbon yet.
Davey decided to use Red Ribbon first. He lowered the tip of the sword, took a step forward with his left foot, and deflected the giant’s powerful strike.
‘I’m not going to let you die that easily, since you disrupted me and my two wives’ historical night,’ he thought.
[Longsword]
[Cleaving the Heavens]
The sound of ripping echoed as blade energy surged forward.
But something unusual happened.
“Hm?”
Instead of sending the energy flying outward, it materialized immediately in front of him, as though the intermediate step of launching was skipped altogether.
Slice!!
In an instant, Red Ribbon’s authority to slash physical laws ripped through everything within its radius. Davey then realized that her authority had gotten stronger.
He took another look at Red Ribbon in disbelief, now getting the feeling that he had created something incredible.
“...”

At the same time, the time in the space where Davey existed and the time in reality began to realign. Normally, in this space created by Goddess Freyja, time barely passed compared to the outside world due to her authority and the unique traits of the space.
But now, as the two timelines overlapped, a series of effects began to unfold.
Among those affected were Odin and Dok Gojun.
After the ancient demon beasts had disappeared, sunlight had appeared in the Demon World. The demons that were engaged in restoration efforts thus became even busier—agriculture had become possible for the first time in ages.
Even though they were in a civil war, they couldn’t pass up the new opportunity. As if both sides knew what was best for them collectively, they put a stop to their fight and focused on farming, eager to harvest real crops instead of fake ones.
The demons had no clue what Davey had done, but an enormous amount of energy circulated through the soil, enriching it and ensuring plentiful harvests. For the demons, if the Demon World could become a livable place, there would be no need for bloody battles. They could all thrive instead.
Demon Lord Davey O’Rowane.
He had brought a lot of change, whether good or bad. Despite their cautiousness, fear, and even hatred toward Davey, they couldn’t deny that he was solving their problems more effectively than any Demon Lord before him.
“You have to plant them carefully! That’s the only way they’ll grow strong!” Arita commanded as she cultivated the vast fields with demonic beasts and low-level demons. She was the granddaughter of a Grand Duke and the demon authority in Astaroth.
She was excited at the thought of eating properly steamed potatoes for the first time. Traditionally, meat was a rarity, not vegetables. However, in the Demon World, where plants were more valuable than gold, vegetables were a rarity.
“I hope they grow faster so that I can steam them and eat them with salt…”
The demons, seeing her gulp with her eyes glued to the potato sprouts, worked even harder as if on the same wavelength.
“Alright everyone! Let’s do as much as we can today!”
“Yes!”
The demons responded enthusiastically. Despite the hard work, they were in high spirits. Even Arita grabbed a garden hoe and joined in. Though she was born as an upper class demon who would eventually reign on the demon throne after Astaroth and Liline Orlouge, she was just as unpretentious as the other demons at the moment.
But then, a sudden noise filled the sky. Something came flying before she felt someone push her away.
“Huh?” Alita blinked in confusion.
Boom!!
A massive spear, seemingly hundreds of meters long, slammed into the ground with an earth-shattering crash.
“...”
Arita stared in shock as the nearby demon who had saved her life was crushed beneath the debris.
“Joseph... What... What's happening…?! I’m scared…” she muttered with tears welling in her eyes.
“Miss! Get down!!” another demon shouted.
Another spear came flying.
As Arita dodged the second spear, she looked up, eyes wide with terror. In the distance, an enormous armored giant was slowly approaching.

Editorb’s Thoughts:
Damn Davey, back at it again with the super suave moves! The man is so charming that he’s even gettin’ gash from Mother Earth on his wedding night 😂🤣
My dear literary patrons, don’t let Davey’s skewed views mislead you: Things like BDSM and bondage aren’t something extremely unusual, something to be ashamed of. You like what you like, and as long as you’re consenting adults it’s all gravy. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.
