The second she gave Rui to Kane, she just barely managed to intercept a Sage that sought to wipe Kane out with Rui.

She needed to keep him engaged.

The Gorteaun Martial Sage snorted. "You think I don't know that?"

She gritted her teeth as she withstood his devastating attacks one after another. She knew it.

Her Martial Art was almost obsolete against Martial Sages.

They were still capable of feeling wrath and despair and all the emotions that they were capable of before. However, she couldn't destabilize them.

The enlightenment was a causal understanding of who they were. There was nothing that they themselves didn't understand about who themselves and had made peace with. On top of that, the Sage Realm was very different from the prior Realms.

The fact that she had broken just a weak ago was more damning than it would have otherwise been in the Lower Realms.

If not for the manifold giving her three and a half months, she would have never been able to even attain Sage-level combat power.

Sage Vermillion and Sage Shinken grew shocked as the Devil overcame their pressure with his own power.

"You monster!" Sage Skinken shrieked as the sheer amount of destruction that Sage Damian unleashed surpassed their greatest expectations.

"Rgh!!" Sage Shinken gritted his teeth as countless blasts of destruction crashed against his guard.

Sage Damian deployed every high principle and destruction he had ever mastered in his entire life.

Quark gluon plasma, a form of matter that filled the universe at for the first hundred millenial of its life. Nuclear fission.

Matter-antimatter annihilation.

Also of them.

The sheer power he unleashed was beyond Shinken had ever dreamed possible. Yet, he held on, deploying his own principles of defense, relying on radiative and gravitational dispersion to disperse the destructive onslaught that Damian threw against him.

Meanwhile Sage Knight Vermillion spiralled around Damian at extraordinary high speeds as she peppered him with a barrage of countless attacks one after another. BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOM!!!

Each attack while not too powerful was unavoidable as it struck Damian one after another. Her entire Martial Art revolved around a single extraordinary high principle.

Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. One could not know both position and velocity of a particle with absolute certainty. The more certainty one had of one, the more uncertainty one had of another. By relying on hypnosis to maximize the certainty of her velocity, she was able to maximize the uncertainty of her position.

This allowed her to gain a level of combat stealth that was absolutely absolute.

She had harnessed the very laws of the universe to reinforce her stealth.

Nobody could know where she was.

Not without violating the laws of reality.

That was why she was the strongest Martial Sage in the Britannian Empire and one of the strongest Sages in all of human civilization.

"I'll just destroy everything and everyone everywhere!"

Sage Shinken and Sage Knight Vermillion froze with horror as Damian unleashed an even greater wave of destruction as he summoned more Materia Prima from not just the root of his own being but also from the root of the very around them. Heaven and earth began melting away out of existence across the battlefield as he pushed back against the two peak Sages.

Instantly, they abandoned their battles and surged to converge upon him.

The very next instant, the Kandrian Martial Sages converged to reinforce the Devil against their former opponents, standing behind and beside him as each Martial Artist pushed themselves to the limit in exerting their power.

That was a mistake.

It converged upon a single point.

It converged upon a single point as the very fabric of space and time crumpled under the sheer weight of the power that they outputted.

It came to gain its own gravitation pull as the combined power of forty-five Sages converged further and further as its own gravitational pull accelerated the convergence of all that power unto a single point.

It gave birth to a cosmic monster.

It gave birth to a singularity.

A black hole.

They watched as they felt its gluttonous hunger draw them in. They watched with despair as it marked the beginning.

Far away in the Imperial Palace of the Britannian Empire, sat a man upon a throne.

He opened his eyes slowly as his gaze shifted towards the impending apocalypse.
