The Legend of Min Hong

Chapter 243: Comprehending The Dao In Battle

Chapter 243: Comprehending The Dao In Battle

The old man muttered to himself when he saw Min Hong look in his direction though, Min Hong could see nothing even with the 'Eye of Infinite Dao', this old man could see everything as clear as daytime

Not because the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' was weak but simply because Min Hong was not powerful enough to wield the amount of the power of the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' needed to gaze and peer through the void

"I'm sorry venerable elder, but do you think it is safe that we allow this fight to go on?"

"I don't think he knows that the fifth grand elder is about to join the fight, and that might be fatal, if he was attacked at a crucial moment"

"This kid is overly talented and would be a huge waste if he lost his life here" Chu Huang spoke into the empty air as he received a nonchalant response;

"Life out here is not even one percent as harsh and wicked compared to what we face here"

"If he is going to survive here at all, then he must learn to battle in the most unfavorable situations"

The old man within the void responded as he prevented the emperor's grandfather from interfering in the fight

But for Min Hong who was passing through the void at this point, he was feeling a deep sense of danger and dread with every single passing millisecond, and something kept telling him that if he spent any second longer than normal in here, he might as well forget about ever returning to the land of the living

But Min Hong at this point was busy comprehending and improving his knowledge of the Space Dao as he kept staring at the different dimension

At this point, he was looking at four screen like sheet of transparent foil all around him

One overhead, leading to another dimension, same with his right, left and beneath all leading to a completely different dimensions except from the one on his right which lead back into the Dogon Empire's desert land

"Is this the relationship between the Space Dao and Void Dao?"

Min Hong muttered to himself, but obviously, he couldn't hear himself speak, after all, not even the concept of time exists within the Void, since the Void Dao was very much stronger than the Space-Time Dao

Min Hong stretched his hands towards the shimmering space curtain to his right which was leading to a separate dimension, and just like that, his hands passed through, but when he brought back his arm, it was completely withered, as he wondered what kind of dimension he had just put his hands through

"But if every dimension is protected by the Chaos, why can I easily breach another dimension?"

"Is it because of my comprehension of the Chaos Dao?"

Min Hong began to mutter to himself, and as more question popped into his mind, Min Hong was subconsciously delving deeper and deeper into the mysteries of the universe that not even Chu Huang would dare to do, at least not in this place

Min Hong then tried again with another different space curtain and the same thing happened, and as a result, Min Hong began his experimentations

After all, time doesn't exist within the void and as a result, he would most likely return to his dimension and have to instantaneously defend against the attacks of the four grand elders

"That can wait this is much more important"

Min Hong simply surrounded himself with the aura of the Oblivion Dao which made anyone who try to sense Min Hong's location see or sense nothing

"One can never be too careful in a place such as this"

Min Hong muttered before going a step further to coat himself in an extra layer of Chaos aura

Thus at this point, anyone who passed by would sense nothing other than the Chaos, and then, if they tried to pry through that patch of Chaos energy, they would find nothing within, even though Min Hong is currently sitting within

Just like that, Min Hong began to study the relationship between the Void and Space

Time passed in what seems to be years upon years upon years, but all these was only to Min Hong because in the actual reality, or more like within his dimension, not even a second had passed

But something strange was happening to him also

As Min Hong kept comprehending these Daos, his existence kept melding with the void, and this included his cultivation, soul, mind, body and even Qi

In fact, anyone who stood close to Min Hong at this point would feel like they were standing close to the border that led into the infinite void, and it was at this point that Min Hong's eyes snapped open

The spatial curtains around Min Hong rippled slightly as Min Hong gave a slight grin

"It is just like the trials of the 'great creator' had described it The Void was born out of Oblivion and even existed before Space and Time themselves"

"It was the void that was shattered when Chaos was about to be trapped, and it was these shattered fragments of the Void that became each pocket of space"

"Thus, that means every dimension currently in existence is just a tiny shattered fragment of the infinite Void itself"

Min Hong then looked over to his left, but this time, he did not put his hand through, rather he just slid his hands across the fabric of that the shimmering spatial curtain

Then all of a sudden, he shut out his Space Dao completely and found out that he couldn't see all the fabric of space that surrounded him anymore

Then he tried passing his hand through, just like he did earlier, but nothing happened then he released just the concept level of his space Dao and saw these spatial screens again, but this time, they were unstable and chaotic like billions of broken shards of sharp glass

"This is why Concept Level Space Dao cultivators find it very hard to travel through space and can only move short distances if they pushed themselves very hard"

Min Hong thought to himself;

"It would be like travelling to billions of broken glass shards No one can take so much pain"

Then he reduced his Space Dao to the First Plane and noticed that the space became even more chaotic and were even swirling like vortex

"I will definitely suffer grievous injuries if I try to travel through space using a First Plane Concept Level Space Dao"

Then he increased his Space Dao to the Third Plane Intent Level and noticed that these space screens around him had actually stabilized and was now like a solid glass, and furthermore, Min Hong could sense that he could crack or break or shatter these spatial screens with a thought;

"So, this is where the term 'spatial cracks' originated from, unh?" He muttered rhetorically

"It is just an Intent Level Space Dao expert shattering space to enter a different dimension..."

Once again, Min Hong increased his Space Dao level to the Seventh Plane Intent Level and noticed that the Space screen around him had turned somehow watery; like it was just a stream of water roiling like the beach on a gentle summer afternoon.
