“You—! You all—!” The attendant in a cyan robe gritted her teeth, her voice seething with anger. “You bunch of fools! You’re being tricked, and here I am trying to warn you, yet you’re too blind to see it! If you end up poisoned, you all deserve it!”

Her words went too far, insulting nearly every martial artist and cultivator present. Immediately, their faces darkened, and they glared at her with fury.

“Watch your manners, Cui.” A cool yet sweet female voice suddenly rang out from the back of the crowd.

A woman in white, her face concealed behind a delicate white veil, stepped forward with slow, graceful movements.

Her eyes could light up a room, vivid and enchanting, but there was no smile on her face—only a cold, aloof air. She carried herself with the grace and pride of a noblewoman, leaving others to admire her beauty from a distance, as she seemed so out of reach.

“Miss, I was only trying to follow your instructions and warn them not to take the pills recklessly, but they—” Cui, the attendant in cyan, walked up to the woman in white with tears in her eyes, her voice filled with frustration and hurt.

Of course, the woman in white was Yun Feifei, who had been watching from outside Serenity Pharmacy just moments earlier.

Yun Feifei ignored Cui’s protest. She nodded toward Xi Yue and said, “Sorry for my maid’s lack of manners.”

Though she spoke words of apology, there was no trace of regret in her expression. She remained as aloof and proud as ever, her demeanor cold and unyielding.

But everyone watching felt that Xi Yue was so lucky to receive such an apology.

Only Wu Tiandi coldly snorted as he muttered, “If you know your maid isn’t someone you’d want to show around, maybe you should leave her behind next time. Don’t embarrass yourself.”

Yun Feifei’s gaze turned cold, but she ignored Wu Tiandi. Instead, she fixed her eyes on Xi Yue and asked, “May I have a look at your pills?”

Xi Yue didn’t even spare Yun Feifei a glance. “If you want to buy medicinal pills, please queue up.”

Cui couldn’t hold back any longer. With a burst of anger, she snapped, “Do you seriously think my young lady would be interested in your pills?” She glared at Xi Yue, her voice harsh. “My lady is a grandmaster level alchemist, and you’re just selling a mere grade 6 pill. Do you think we’d care? If it weren’t for her compassionate nature, worried that your customers might end up with damaged meridians or spiritual roots from those faulty pills, do you think she’d waste her time on you?”

“Cui!” Yun Feifei shot Cui a warning glance but didn’t deny Cui’s words. Instead, she turned to Xi Yue. “I’m also a pill refiner,” she said calmly. “I’ve heard that the Five Elements Spirit Purifying Pill has remarkable effects and works on all types of spiritual roots. I must admit, I’m quite curious about it.”

“From what I know about medicinal pills, each grade has its own expected potency. If a pill exceeds that, it usually comes with hidden risks. The Five Elements Spirit Purifying Pill you used earlier is only grade 5, yet its effects surpass those of grade 6 pills, which doesn’t seem quite right.”
