The first thing Evan looked at back in the tower was his new weapon, Mammon's Gaze. This scythe sword was a 4-star weapon as well as his armor. Evan was counting on this weapon to have some unique feature as well.

[This weapon is a hybrid of a scythe and a sword. The owner of this weapon can change his fighting style depending on the situation and place, which gives him more flexibility. The handle of this weapon was forged from rare obsidian, which is mined only in the depths of the hottest volcanoes. The blades of this weapon are made from the claws of a second-ranked wyvern that has evolved three times. This beast lives in ever-burning forests, among bloody geysers.

This weapon is capable of cutting through most second-rank armor. What's more, many defensive spells can do nothing against the sharpness of this weapon. The blades of this weapon are capable of turning the blood that sprinkles them into bloody flames. This flame will cover the blades of the weapon and incinerate its enemies. When the bloody flame is enough, it is possible to use the unique feature of this weapon - the Bloody Cara.

The effect of Bloody Cara depends on the weapon mode. If the Righteous Punisher is in sword mode, then all the flames will turn into a fiery sphere at the end of the sword. In this case, the wielder only needs to pour some mana, and the sphere will turn into a flaming beam.

If Righteous Punisher is in scythe mode, all the accumulated flames can be released in a single swing. In this case, a terrible, fiery wave will be created, capable of roasting a monster of the second rank alive]

Evan was thrilled by the description as he had expected Righteous Punisher, as well as Scarlet Sacrifice, had a special ability. But he hadn't expected it to vary by scythe mode, which pleased him greatly.

"Okay, now it's time to get to the fun part." Mumbled Evan and his spatial ring glowed.

Several dozen scrolls and various stakes appeared in his hands.

Dorlus would complete Evan's order within three days, but he could provide the necessary formations on the spot.

Evan spent the next few hours setting up these formations and restoring mana. Given the total number of formations, it was a laborious and exhausting process.

But once the work was done, Evan could begin Creation. He was confident that this number of formations would be able to contain the strange energy that would emanate from his body.

Evan also set up thirty flasks, which Dorlus had kindly provided him, against the room's walls.

"Reykar," Evan said quietly, and the one-eyed raven appeared on his shoulder.

This time Evan wanted Reykar to absorb as much of the strange energy emanating from his body as possible during the Splash. Evan would break through the third Barrier, condense the right amount of Void Liquid drops, immediately make a breakthrough, and move to the stage - Two-Pointed Star.

Evan had ten days to do all that, and he was sure he could do it. He also bought a lot of mana crystals from Dorlus. They would help him quickly condense the necessary amount of Void Liquid drops.

Whoooosh.

His spatial ring glowed, and hundreds of bright crystals appeared around him. Evan was about to dry each crystal.

"Okay, let's get started," Evan muttered, and his Warp spun.

Huge streams of mana headed for his Nirvana. Reykar didn't hesitate to absorb as much mana as he could. Evan wanted Reykar to become stronger with him. He would need Reykar's strength in the battle against the Tears of Light group.

After only a few hours, the first few links in the chain began to collapse. This time the process took much less time. This meant that Evan's understanding of how magic worked in this world far exceeded the necessary level in breaking through the third Barrier.

After about a day, the last link was broken, and then the powerful Splash that Evan had been preparing for happened. A huge amount of gray energy was released from his body. But, unlike the last time, this energy could not change anything. The formations that Evan had set up completely blocked that energy.

It was just floating in the air for a while, but suddenly it began to be absorbed by Reykar. At the exact moment, some of the strange energy went to the flasks. Evan positioned the flasks so that they did not fall within the radius of the formations. That way, the energy could go to them without any problems.

When the first flask was full Evan, cast a spell, and an ivy vine appeared next to that flask. The vine wrapped around the cork and plugged the full flask. Evan was skilled enough to stay focused on Creation and control the ivy vine.

Reykar greedily absorbed the strange energy and gradually grew stronger. A little more, and he would go to the next level.

Evan continued to absorb mana greedily. He had to use the full power of his purified Crimson Warp.

After only nine days, Evan had condensed 4,999 drops of Void Liquid. All he had to do was to condense the last drop, make his breakthrough, and become a Mage on the stage - Two-Pointed Star.

Drip.

When the last drop fell, Evan sighed and muttered, "Great, now it's time to get to the fun part. I'll finally get to the next stage and get a lot stronger."

Unlike Barriers, a mage could move to the next stage at any moment. But, he had to be completely focused on his goal. He had to be very attentive, and nothing should interfere with the mage. 

Otherwise, if the mage made a mistake, he might even die. At the moment of breakthrough, the mage increases the concentration of mana in his Warp. Thanks to this, he could use armor, weapons, and spells of the second rank.

Moreover, the mage's body was impregnated with this mana, and he becomes several times stronger. Quite a skilled mage at the stage - Two-Pointed Star could easily kill most mages at the One-Pointed Star stage in a few hits.

Along with Evan, Reykar was also getting stronger. He had already absorbed a gigantic amount of mana and was now equal in strength to a mage at the stage - One-Pointed Star with three flames on the platform.

What's more, his cells have gone into motion.. If he absorbs a large amount of energy from Evan again during Splash, he'll most likely be able to evolve a third time.
