Chapter 128 - The Sneeze!
Meanwhile, Lilith looked at the two stone slabs on her hand with a complicated look in her eyes. She stared at those ordinary piece of rocks until she could watch them no more.
"How even…" she sighed, her voice tired, her icy white breath forming smoky figures in the air before disappearing into nothingness.
It was snowing today, and she was dressed in a long red robe that held her massive jugs in place but they could not run away from the fate of jiggling when she moved, creating an erotic sight.
Her dress was cut at thigh and until the feet, showing her long and beautiful legs whose smooth surface reflected the light from the snow.
She had wanted to enjoy cold and snow while drinking cold tea. She had prepared everything and was going to sit down on her favorite chair when…
Her thought came to an abrupt end as she turned her attention to the stone slabs.
"Why even are they here? In this abode?" she cried out in dejection while holding the stone slabs.
She had been chilling as usual, living her boring day to day life like she was a robot. To prevent her further interaction with Le Fang Ling until the right time came, she had even sealed off the dimension and made the portal connecting to this place a disoriented maze.
And it had worked. Her daughter was kind enough to not disturb her.
But today!!
She sighed as she looked at the far way horizon of the dimension.
"She managed to find back her way here and all for this," she had a dumbfounded expression on her face. She even had the urge to throw them away and burn them to smithereens but, oh well..
She sighed heavily and simply decided to place them on her table. The crease on her forehead smothered out as it got replaced by a warm smile of pride.
"That girl, she grew up a little since the last time I saw her," she sighed as pride welled up in her chest.
"She is indeed worthy of being called my daughter and getting my genes," she mumbled while curling up her lips in a devilishly enchanting smile.
She gently cupped her breast in her hand and smirked.
"But she still has a lot to grow to surpass me," she chuckled as she let go of her massive jugs, making them bounce a bit as they collided against each other.
At the same time..
"Achoo!!" A loud sneeze echoed in the hall of eternal blossom sect, attracting gazes from all of the disciples, elders and even the sect leader who was in the middle of an important speech.
Some even giggled while other simply turned away their gaze from the person to save themselves from dying because of second hand embarrassment.
As for the person in question, she had covered her mouth with her hand and was leaning a bit forward. Upon sensing various gazes directed towards her like arrows, she had no choice but to act normal.
"Everything's good, please continue," she smiled as she gestured towards everyone to look away and be attentive at the lecture session that was going on. She too managed to fake a smile at the elders who were looking at her as if they had seen a wild species.
The only difference was that she was not.
An Cheng saw the flustered expression on her face and could not help but let out a small chuckle.
'Stupid,' she mumbled in a soft voice.
The same went for the other few students who were familiar with Le Fang Ling to a certain degree. Even Zhang Wei, who really hated Le fang Ling to the bone could not help but snicker a bit hearing her sneeze.
The sneeze was not the main reason why this situation was funny. But the fact that her sneeze managed to do this amount of destruction was the true remarkable aspect of this whole situation.
The serious assembly that was supposed to have been held without any disturbance went through a phase of some serious humor which managed to lighten up the atmosphere.
The commotion soon died down and everyone started to turn back to look in front of them.
Even the sect leader managed to snap out of his trance and get back in to his lecture.
"Cough," he cleared his throat to grab attention from everyone there.
Elder Lin, Elder Mo, Elder Shen, Elder Jiang, Elder Po, and other elders all covered their mouth to hide their amusement before they finally calmed down.
"As I was saying…" he picked up from where he had left before and continued talking.
"Is someone talking bad about me behind my back?" Le fang Ling wondered as she wiped her nose with a silk handkerchief.
"Might be," Nagina answered nonchalantly. She was more focused on the speech that sect leader was saying. If one were to look at the concentration level of everyone present here, Nagina was bound to win over everyone by a high margin.
"But," Le Fang Ling refuted with a frown.
"Damn, it's just a sneeze," she complained as soon as everyone stopped staring at her as if she was some sort of clown on circus. Everyone looked at her as if she had killed a man in public and they were judging her.
'Well, you can't blame them,' Nagina's voice sounded in her head. Le Fang Ling turned her head to look at the white serpent that was resting on her shoulder.
She had asked Nagina to stay in her small snake form so that it will be easier for her to travel with her. She was bound to attract wanted and unwanted attention from other people here of she was to walk around with the half snake Nagina or the full human form Nagina.
Well, not that her snake form was any better…
Still, it was better as the gaze she got were from either people who adored cute little snakes or from people who avoided snakes like plague, like Fu Yao Yao who almost jumped back twenty feet upon seeing her.
"Your sneeze was something else, even I almost slipped down from your shoulder." Nagina shrugged as she thought about the ill fate which almost stuck her when she was least expecting it.
"Oh, my bad I guess," Le Fang Ling showed an embarrassed smile as she was done with wiping her mouth and nose. She never imagined she will end of sneezing right now nor did she imagine it will cause a big commotion such as this.
"People are weird here," she could not help but shake her head in dejection. She turned her attention to the sect leader who was reaching the end of his short and sweet announcement.
"Finally," the sect leader who looked younger than many of the Elders there said, his voice a little high pitched to empathize that it was something important they all had to listen to even if they were not paying attention before.
"I am sure you all know that we are hosting the annual tournament which is indeed a great honor for us," he said with a profound smile on his face.
"But, it is also equally great responsibility for us to hold his annual tournament." He said his expression and tone solemn.
"Like every year, we have people from all the sects all across the continent coming to participate."
"And since there is no restriction on who can enter and who can't, the number of people participating will skyrocket," he paced around a bit.
"That includes the high number of mortals and immortals who will be attending to witness the glorious matches."
As he continued speaking, in front of Le Fang Ling, a screen showing the whole content map and also the four main sects from the four different provinces.
She looked at the four biggest dots in the map which represented the four major sects.
The Heavenly Dragon Abode in the East was a growing Sect located on the AZURE DRAGON VALLEY.
The Eternal blossom sect was established on the VERMILLION BIRD PEAK IN THE NORTH and was currently the second strongest Sect in the entire continent.
Finally, there was the mysterious sect in the west. Located on the Western Province of the DIVINE WHITE TIGER TEMPLE was the Great Tiger Palace; the strongest powerhouse Sect that raised strongest Cultivators and martial artists.
The Astral Sky Forest Sect in the Sothern region located on GRAND BLACK TORTOISE plane. That was also her hometown.
"Hmm, my old man and that piece of shit elder brother will be coming too huh," she mumbled as she saw the astral forest sect of the southern province.
She had no idea how the people from the other sect were and she was not interested as well. She was not taking part in the tournament as she wanted to focus on her training first.
She had her re test and promotional test in 6 months which meant she had no time to spare fighting a losing battle.
After all, the contenders were going to be those elite seniors and cultivators from all around the continent to whom she could not even hold her candle.
"Just seeing the fights from the sideline will be more than enough for me to learn a few things or two," she nodded with a determined smile on her face as she swiped away the tab.
"Last but not the least," the sect leader said.
"All the best to all the participants from the Eternal blossom sect," his voice resounded in the hall.
"You are our pride, Bring glory to us!!"
