The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 94: [Change that is about to come!]

[Hiradale's POV Continued!]

"And now they are going to talk to the soul of the first floor who is wandering in the tutorial."

Explaining everything from the start to the end without missing even a single piece of information, I finished my story before looking at the faces of all those around me.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

And as much as I had expected, they were too surprised to speak at all. I could see the doubt in their eyes, having difficulty in believing what I just said, but given how 2 had a permanent lie detection on, I don't think I would have to prove my credibility here.

The golden haired man, with a horizontal deep scar on his left cheek, looked at me with his azure blue eyes that had a purple hue in them. Wearing silver gold armor under that glazing white fur coat, he sat there, pondering what I just spoke. And then looking at the snowy white-blue haired girl beside him, he asked for confirmation.

Seat 2 was a snow elf, her skin as white as snow, she was once a queen of her tribe. Her characteristic black red pupil over her black cornea was a proof of her royalty. Though because the apocalypse came a bit too early for her, she wasn't able to awaken her bloodline abilities and could only show the basic abilities of a high elf. Still that doesn't mean she was weak by any means.

"He… isn't lying," she answered as she looked at me with a shocked expression. The other gasped a little as they heard 2's words, before they observed her as if wondering if her skill was working or not. Though, on second thought, they realized that it was a stupid question, but that only made them feel more ridiculous about the words that I spoke.

"He isn't under any spells either," the one who spoke was 4, narrowing her eyes even more, trying to see more into my mana, trying to find any form of disturbance possible. But the more she couldn't find it, the more agitated she became.

Seat 4 had black short hairs that reached upto her shoulders, while her characteristic golden eyes were something her race took pride in. Wearing a black cloak with the symbol of [Corrupted Ones], she had most of her body covered. Except for the leader, I don't think anyone has seen her body in the entire tutorial.

Seat 4 was from an ancient race of Seers that came from a higher world. When the apocalypse appeared in their world, they were the last race remaining with only 3 beings surviving the first tutorial. Though those 3, including her, are one of the strongest people present in this tower right now.

"Could it be a spell that even I can't detect?" She added as she began pondering but, the leader interrupted as he spoke,

"I don't think so. If his system status says that he is fine, then he must be. But that also means that everything he said was true. Not including the part where that kid can make changes to the system, the fact that 11 can use mana is already something we need to look into.

We can easily check whether his gift is growth type or not when we meet him, but right now what takes priority is the plan that he has suggested. To save a dying planet from the apocalypse… Do you think it's possible?"

Seat 2, paused her thoughts for a moment before turning to me as she asked,"what do you think about that 3? Since you saw everything with your own eyes, what are your thoughts on the matter?"

"It's ridiculous to even think about it," I spoke honestly, making her sigh before I added,"just like the fact he closed the rift, and the fact that 11 can use mana now. Everything he has said or done is ridiculous."

Their eyes looked at me for a few seconds before the leader gave his words,

"All right. 3, 5. Stay here and handle the things. Call 7 and 8 as well, ask them to manage the things here. 2, 4. You are coming with me.

Prepare a portal directly to the first floor, I am going to meet that kid personally."

And we all nodded at his words, before we moved on with our own work.

A change to the tower was going to come soon. And I personally think it's going to shake the tower from its core this time. My heartbeat was racing for the storm that was about to come…

Things are about to get interesting again.

[Arian's POV!]

Walking towards the castle alone, I looked at the players around me taking a look at the castle garden, enjoying the view of the night. I asked the Admin and Annabeth to keep a distance and keep themselves hidden.

I am not exactly the type to attract attention, so I would rather do things without anyone knowing.

Looking at the map, where a pink coloured dot was present, I wondered if she was the same as the corrupt ones. Though on second thought, I didn't feel the dirty energy coming off from her as the ones with the corrupt energy. Also, their color was deep purple to blackish purple in comparison to the normal pink that I was looking at on the map.

My steps took me into the castle, in the left wing, near the kitchen. It kind of made me wonder what she was doing there, though the answer became obvious as I saw her trying to look something in the closets, hoping to find some ingredients.

'She was talking about making a strawberry pie, right? Is she going to do it herself?' I thought as I saw Nora searching from one cupboard to another, while I walked closer to her.

Hearing my footsteps, her eyes turned to me with a slight surprise. The previous bored eyes were now filled with a bit of joy as she observed me before speaking,"Oh! It's you again!"

She then moved closer to me, walking barefoot, as she hoped for a few steps like a little girl. Her eyes observed me with the same smile as she spoke,

"Do you know where the strawberries and the cornstarch are?" She asked with a slight excitement as she looked at me.

'So she really was making a strawberry pie, huh?' I observed her as a smile appeared on my face.

"Making a strawberry pie?" I asked and she was surprised," yeah. I can't seem to find the ingredients."

She made a rather exhausted expression, as she seemed to be getting annoyed with all these searches and stuff. Though I doubt she would find it given there was not a single ingredient present in the kitchen, and that which was present was mostly rotten.

I looked at the map, at the other kitchen in the castle, but the result was the same. Perhaps they were getting food from somewhere else? I mean, the portal could be a viable option.

'Anyways, making a strawberry pie, huh?' I thought before looking at my inventory. I think I bought a lot of ingredients with me hoping to use my [Perfect Cooking!] somewhere in this tutorial. I always wondered what it would feel like to camp and cook.

Though perhaps as it may be, the first time I will be using the skill isn't in the wilderness but in a castle's kitchen.

"The castle doesn't have any ingredients," I spoke as a dejected expression appeared on her face before I smiled and continued,"but I guess you are lucky."

"Huh?" She then looked at me surprised as I took out 2 packets of strawberries and a bunch of other stuff that would be necessary to make it. Her eyes widened before they glistened as they looked at the ingredients with a happy smile on her face.

The saliva was already dripping out of her mouth before I took a step back.

Wiping her saliva immediately, she looked at me with a hopeful expression asking,"can I… have those ingredients?"

"I don't like people touching my ingredients though… How about I cook you a strawberry pie instead? Though it won't exactly be for free," I spoke to her making her widen her eyes before she apologized,

"Ah! I am sorry but I already have a husband. I don't think I would do anything indecent with you."

'Do I look that shady to her?' I was feeling awkward a little before I answered,

"It's not that. I just want to hear your story. Is it alright with you?"

She looked at me with a surprise before her eyes dulled again. She smiled at me before speaking,

"I can tell you everything you want. But it won't be exactly fair with you. I don't think you understand but you will forget everything that happened so… I don't know. I can maybe pay you with points instead?"

I sighed as I understood her point of view. Though I was still surprised to see that she is honest and fair. She had the complete chance of taking advantage of me, yet she was just with her decision.

Well, this also made me happy. At the very least, I can put a little bit of trust in her as well. Much better than her backstabbing me or lying to me later.

"It's all right, Nora. I was just surprised to see you sad back at the tower. It made me curious about your life, that's all. I can make a strawberry pie for free, don't worry about it. Though can we still become friends?" I smiled as I looked at her, while she answered,

"Thank you for understanding my situation, I know-" and then she realized something was wrong with what I said. And she looked at me with her eyes widening enough to almost make them fall off.

"What did you just say?!!"
