"Why are you so quiet?" Elise turned to Loriel after not hearing the man said anything for a good while. She opened her eyes and looked at him. Loriel didn't look relaxed as she thought he would. 

Elise scooted closer to the man and touched his cheek. "What's wrong? Are you unwell? Is your headache back?"

Now, her skin touched his during such a difficult moment and Loriel had to exert all his sanity so as not to pounce on her and kiss her senseless.

If he did, he wouldn't be satisfied and would want to go all out. He had been keeping his desire to himself for a long, long time.

He added, "It's a very relaxing place to be, in the mountain in Switzerland. It doesn't have onsen, but I am sure something can be done to get the sulfuric steam water in there and make an onsen since Switzerland is surrounded by mountains."

Elise laughed out loud at Loriel's silly remarks. She was taught geography by her personal teacher back home and learned that none of the volcanoes in Switzerland was active even though it was surrounded by the alps.

Loriel realized the same thing after he said those words. He just blurted nonsense because he was feeling nervous. Elise was so close to him and his nose had smelled her sweet distinct scent, even among the distinct smell of the onsen.

"I am glad you found it funny," he said with a smile.

"Yeah... you are funny when you said you can do this or that and make things happen," said Elise. 

"Don't you like it?" Loriel asked back. He tried to focus his gaze on her face, not on her breasts. They were hidden under the steam water, but some parts were exposed and his imagination could fill the rest.

When Loriel didn't hear her voice again, he opened his eyes and turned to look at his wife. Ahh... he could see her side profile from this side uninterrupted.

"Loriel," Elise whispered.

"Hmm?" Loriel smiled at her. Wondering what Elise thought about him watching her earlier. Hopefully, she didn't consider him a pervert or lame.

"This is such a wonderful night," Elise turned her body to face Loriel and slowly her hand touched Loriel's cheek. Her fingers ran down his skin and then she wrapped her hand around his neck. Soon, her other hand followed suit.

Now, she had had both hands around his neck and then she tilted her face closer. Loriel's heart was immediately pounding. What did she want to do? Did she want to kiss him?

His gaze was filled with longing and Elise noticed this too. She smiled faintly and slowly moved closer and touched his lips with hers.

She closed her eyes and kissed him. The former king was ecstatic, he immediately hugged her waist and kissed her back.
