The Art of Chaotic Divinity

Chapter 331: Drunken Pavilion!

Chapter 331: Drunken Pavilion!

Half a month had passed in the blink of an eye.

Ling Feng had been living peacefully at Tianwei Academy. Even the young prince, Mo Lin, seemed to have vanished without a trace, no longer troubling Ling Feng or pestering Qin Wanwan.

Of course, Ling Feng could guess the reason behind this sudden disappearance.

Mo Lin's vitality diagram had been altered by Zifeng who had drained much of his kidney vitality. Naturally, he had lost his abilities as a normal male and was unable to perform manly functions.

It was likely that Mo Lin was frantically seeking medical treatment, too preoccupied to cause any trouble.

Ling Feng estimated that, aside from him with his own Profound Art of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, there was probably no one else capable of curing Mo Lin's dysfunction.

Of course, there was always a chance for a miracle.

However, according to Ling Feng's assessment, if Mo Lin's condition persisted for another six months or so, his "little brother" would likely fall off on its own. At that point, no immortality pill or miraculous medicine would be able to restore him to being a normal man.

After more than half a month of various studies and training, the rare two-day monthly break had finally arrived!

The roommates at Tianshu East Court took advantage of the rare break to either rest or train. Ouyang Jing, as expected, seized the opportunity to take Zhou Yun out for some sightseeing.

For the first time, Ling Feng decided to leave Tianwei Academy voluntarily.

Having been in the imperial capital for almost two months, he felt it was time to write a letter to the Wenxian Sect where he was the sect leader. He wanted to inquire about its situation. This way, he could avoid disappointing the sect members.

...

Ling Feng had an excellent memory. As soon as he arrived, he memorized the map of the imperial capital clearly. After quickly completing his errands, he was ready to relax.

Following the enticing aroma of wine, Ling Feng made his way to a tavern called the "Drunken Pavilion," where the scent of the wine was the most potent!

He ordered seven or eight dishes made from fourth-tier demonic beasts and three jars of fine wine, feeling satisfied as he handed the menu back to the waiter.

Today, Ling Feng was determined to indulge himself properly!

Meanwhile, at another table in the tavern, five young men in their early twenties were enjoying their drinks. Suddenly, a man and a woman entered and approached their table.

The man, who was roughly in his twenties, was fairly handsome.

If Ling Feng saw him, he might find him somewhat familiar. This was Yan Chong, the lackey of the young prince, Mo Lin, whom Ling Feng had slapped a few times half a month ago.

The woman, about seventeen or eighteen years old, was in her prime and had a striking figure. She wore a light yellow palace dress with a light-colored sash accentuating her slim waist.

As she entered the tavern, the sound of patrons swallowing hard could be heard from all around.

"Senior Brother Liu, how can you still be in the mood to drink here!" Yan Chong rushed to the five men, slamming his hand on the table. "Senior Brother Liu, did you know that while you were away, a newcomer almost turned Tianwei Academy upside down?"

"Hahaha, turning Tianwei Academy upside down?" Senior Brother Liu laughed heartily, taking a large sip from his wine bowl. "Elder Yan, who could possibly overturn Tianwei Academy?"

"Senior Brother Liu, you must have heard of the yellow-tier student who joined our academy this year named Ling Feng!"

"Ling Feng?" Senior Brother Liu thought for a moment, and then sneered. "Isn't he the kid Gu Tengfeng from the East Court's sword team recruited? What kind of waves could a yellow-tier student make?"

As he spoke, he touched his nose and shifted his eyes to the young girl beside Yan Chong. He gulped as his thoughts began to wander.

"Hehe!" Yan Chong smirked, knowing Liu Shengjie, the guy drinking in front of him, was a lecher. The reason why he brought such a little beauty was to increase his bargaining chip.

"Senior Brother Liu, you don't know how arrogant that kid is! Just days after joining Tianwei Academy, he started challenging everyone, claiming that only the students from the East Court were elite while the rest were trash and useless!"

"What?" Liu Shengjie stood up abruptly, glaring at Yan Chong. "Did he really say that?"

"Yes! He even said that he would soon lead the East Court's sword team to sweep through the other courts' sword teams, trampling all his defeated opponents underfoot!"

Yan Chong took a deep breath as he continued to fabricate his story.

"Outrageous!" Liu Shengjie slammed the table. "How dare he!?"

Liu Shengjie was a member of the West Court's sword team and one of its top fighters. Hearing that the East Court's sword team claimed it would sweep away all the other sword teams naturally made him furious.

"That mad dog! One of my brothers, who had no grudge against him, simply told him not to be so arrogant, yet he dared to break the arm of that earth-tier student from the West Court!

"And this is Junior Sister Yan'er," Yan Chong introduced the girl beside him to Liu Shengjie and the others. "She almost got humiliated by that beast! Yan'er, tell the senior brothers how that monster mistreated you!"

"Is that true?" Liu Shengjie slapped the table and stood up, grabbing Yan'er's hand and putting on a concerned expression.

"Boo hoo..." Bai Yan'er wept, leaning into Liu Shengjie's chest, her sobs shaking his heart. "Senior Brother Liu, you must get justice for me!"

"Fuck!" Liu Shengjie, feeling hot all over from her touch, no longer cared whether the story was true. He hugged the girl tightly and cursed, "That damned animal! When I return to Tianwei Academy, I will make sure he gets the punishment he deserves!"

"Hehehe!" Yan Chong's lips curled into a satisfied smile as he thought coldly: Ling Feng, you are done for!

After plotting for half a month, Yan Chong finally chose Liu Shengjie. Liu was strong, lecherous, and hot-tempered—a perfect and brainless pawn.

Such a person was ideal for manipulation!

...

As the saying went, coincidences created the best stories. Ling Feng was idly waiting for his food when he suddenly overheard someone mentioning Tianwei Academy. His interest piqued, he began to listen more intently. As he continued to eavesdrop, he realized that someone was plotting to use others to kill him.

What a vicious scheme!

"Very well! This is excellent!"

Ling Feng muttered, resting his chin on his hand as his eyes flashed with cold light.

He vaguely remembered that Yan Chong was a lackey of Mo Lin. After half a month of silence, it seemed they were finally making a move against him.

And the funniest part was, he had stumbled upon it by chance!

Without hesitation, Ling Feng slowly walked over toward Liu Shengjie and the others.
