The Alpha's Return

Chapter 85 - Moving Seperately

"Why was I never aware of this? Why would you divulge such important information to all of the supernaturals? Now, we are at their mercy.", Arthur lamented.

"Its not like we gave them any sensitive information. At the least, we didn't intend to. Anyways, we know how they got this information. What do we do? We need to inform the gods about this. And we need to do this fast.", Praneeth said.

"We can go all the way to the gods.", Lucas suggested.

"Which gods?", Angela asked.

"We will split up. Teams of two. I will go to Asgard. I am not going anywhere near Mount Olympus.", Lucas said with a shiver.

"That is why you have to listen to the people around you. You were an idiot, to try and break through the place. And all for what? To get Aphrodite to sign your underwear? You were probably the most idiotic person in the world at that point.", Praneeth chuckled.

"Let us not talk about the past. Anyways, I will go to Odin. He will give me some weight, Fenrir being his actual nemesis and all. He will have to listen to what I say, and he cannot just kill me.", Lucas said.

"You just want to go to Asgard because you will end up in Valhalla if you die, don't you?", Raphael laughed.

"I am the most wanted by Lucifer. He is not going to let me go. I would rather die twice than go to hell.", Lucas said.

"Alright. I shall go to Kailash. It has been quite a while since I did my pilgrimage there, and it will be good to do that as well.", Praneeth said.

"I will join Lucas to go to Asgard. It is not exactly friendly in Greece and in India. I would rather of to a nice and tolerable place for a change.", Angela said.

"Then I will go to Egypt. I have to inform the gods there that their nemesis and the biggest enemy has sent his minions to the mortal world, and that even the sphynx made a move.", Michael said.

"I will join you, Michael. I don't trust you to do a good job. I'll make sure that you don't mess it up.", Arthur said.

Michael glared at Arthur, but he did not say anything. His irritation was clear in his eyes, but it seemed that he was very tolerant about this.

"Eva and Raphael left. Who wants to go to Kailash, and who wants to go to Greece? I know that Mu Chen would not leave the chance to meet Hephasteus.", Lucas said.

"Don't act as if you know me so well.", Mu Chen said, still sitting on his chair.

"But you are going there aren't you.", Lucas asked.

"Hehehe.", Mu Chen giggled.

"You gave HIM the monkey wine? A guy who can't take alcohol?", Lucas looked at Praneeth.

"Your fault you slept for so long.", Michael shrugged.

"And you didn't give me the moon drops. You know what? I can't care less. I am going to Asgard. I am going to get myself some mead, and I am going to rub it in your damned faces.", Lucas harrumphed.

"Do you really think that the Asgardians will welcome you with open arms? You are destined to destroy them.", Michael asked.

"Not me. Fenrir. I am the one who is stopping all of that from happening.", Lucas corrected Michael.

"Fine. I will go with Mu Chen. I have no interest in going on another trip with Praneeth. He does not know how to enjoy anything in life.", Raphael interrupted.

"Now isn't this fitting? The two most boring people are going to India, one of the most exotic places in the world? What's that word I am looking for? Yeah. Ironic isn't it?", Lucas said.

"Okay. Now that the teams are formed, when will we be leaving? Who knows when the Marquis will strike? Isn't it better if we keep someone here to make sure that nothing happens?", Praneeth said.

"The Indian gods are the most social gods. They will know. You and Eva can stay here and keep base. I am going with Angela. I am not in the mood to take care of council stuff. I am not going back to that life again.", Lucas shook his head.

"That is... an interesting proposal. What do you think, Eva?", Praneeth looked at Eva.

"It is better if the responsible ones stay here and keep point to make sure nothing too big happens.", Eva nodded.

"Truly, they are the most boring pair in the world. Okay. I am going to leave tomorrow. Angela, your jet or mine?", Lucas looked at Angela.

"Mine is better. So, where will Bifrost connect? Scandinavia or Norway? Or was it Denmark?", Angela asked Lucas.

"Scandinavia is literally the two of them and Sweden combined. Do you have any idea what you said? You just proved that you have no geographical sense.", Lucas said.

"I never needed Geography. I always have someone to do this for me. So, tomorrow? Where will I be staying today? The last day in new york can't be spent in a warehouse.", Angela said.

"How about we go to the Hilton? I have the presidential suite there always reserved for me. The owner owes me a favour. I happened to have accidentally saved his life.", Lucas said.

"Then why are we waiting? Let us get going.", Angela asked.

"You are not going anywhere. Lucas, where is it?", Michael appeared in front of them almost instantly.

"Where is what? What are you talking about?", Lucas asked.

"My car. My dear car. You took it, and now I can't find where you parked it.", he asked.

"The car? Oh shit. You had the car! I totally forgot the car. It should be parked somewhere around the building. It has been seven days man. It should have gone to the towing service.", Lucas shrugged.

"You sent my precious to the towing area? You are dead. You are dead to me.", Michael shouted as he stormed out of the room.

"Okay. That was a bit too much..", Lucas said as he opened the door that Michael slammed, and held it for Angela.
