The Alpha's Return

Chapter 110 - Loki

"Hello child."

"Damn it. What the hell is wrong with these timings? Why is he appearing at a time like this? Is he begging me to try and kill him?" Lucas growled.

"Calm down. I am just here to talk." Loki smiled.

"Yup, That is exactly what you say to a person that you just sabotaged, don't you? I have to stay in this boring place for another few days because of you. Does Odin even know that you are here?" Lucas asked.

"Why would that senile old man know anything about what is going on in this world? He is still wrapped up in that bubble that he thinks is reality. Meanwhile, the world is changing, and the new kings are approaching." Loki chuckled.

"What do you want?" Lucas asked.

"What do I want? That is very simple, isn't it? I want my eldest son back. After all, he was born to do what I most desired. I just want him to fulfill his destiny, and bring me glory, and bring him fame." Loki smiled. His mouth was wide open, and every single one of his teeth was shown.

"You mad man. I thought that I had enough of this after that while Marquess incident, but to think that it is repeating again. What the hell are the gods doing? Allowing a scourge to enter and exit their precious haven without permission." Lucas frowned.

"Oh my! How very hurtful! Fenrir. Tell him to stop. You know how words can hurt. And they can never be taken back." Loki said with a condescending tone.

"Just tell me what you are here for, and what you want to do." Fenrir growled.

"I want you to join us. I am not as idiotic as that lass. I am not going to force your human body to just die. I am going to let that human child stay alive. I just want you after all, and I can accept any side package deals that come with you. But for our ideals to be fulfilled, you are an essential part of our plan." Loki said.

"Do you think that I don't know why the Marquess wanted to release me? Do you think I don't know that you will use me as bait? What are you going to do after all the gods are going to try and seal me once more? Steal Hofund?" Fenrir asked.

"Hofund? What the hell is that?" Lucas asked.

"It is the key that opens Bifrost. Very covered by the ice giants of Jotunheimr." Fenrir quickly explained.

"You look at me so cheaply. Do you think that I think so little of you? You are a very important person to me, and you are such a powerful tool if used right. The Egyptian dogs know nothing of your value. But do you think that your own father won't understand you the most?" Loki said.

"Tell me what you want me to do. I will think about it." Fenrir said.

"Why the hell are you in a hurry? Do you think that this stupid war even matters? Just so that you can satisfy your material desires a little? After the war is over, as long as you help me, both of you will be allowed to pick between all of the women in the world. I will even allow you to take any valkyrie that you want. Why are you being so stupid? Think for the long term. You are just going to be able to look at them for a few seconds, that's all. I will give you the opportunity to force them to even roleplay for you." Loki said with his arms apart. All of a sudden, holographic women appeared in front of Lucas' eyes. All of them were dancing in front of him with quite provocative clothing.

Lucas was in his wolf form, but even he could be seen as shocked.

"I will think about this. But you still haven't answered a very important question. Why do you want me in your plan so badly? Because you are confident that you are not going to be able to overthrow Odin and Thor all by your own?" Fenrir asked.

"Those two idiots do not stand a chance against me. Do you really think that those mush brains can even comprehend what I am about to do? Your little brother is about to be released, and he will unleash the world in a hell that was never seen before. And as for your sister, she is ready to take the mantle of keeping all of the gods in a prison of her making." Loki said.

"I will think about it. Now get out. Shoo. You are not the most reliable person that I know, and you did not even help me out when Odin chained me up. I don't trust you as much as you think I should. I would rather stay in this status quo than actually side with the wrong people and risk being chained up once more. I don't want to go through that hell again." Fenrir said.

"But we will win. Ra is forever going to be swept in Apophis' shadow. Odin is meant to be devoured by you. Kronos himself is almost revived. All of the ruling gods have doom coming towards them. All of them have made huge mistakes in the past, and it will bite them in the ass. At this time, do you really think that siding with those gods is advised?" Loki scoffed.

"Actually, I am sure that if I side with them, they will even release me. But if I side with you, I won't have a life to look forward to. Do you think I don't know what Apophis wants? He wants complete chaos. I will not allow the mortal realm to become a messy piece of shit. It has a lot of stuff that intrigues me, and I don't want all of that to end. Status Quo is fine for me." Fenrir said.

"Do you call siding with the gods, status quo? After all of this is done, they will go back to being their normal selves. Zeus betrayed the same cyclops and sent them back to that pit even though they helped him. Odin locked up his own grandchildren because he was afraid that they were too powerful. And as for the Egyptian gods, all of them are a little crack in the head, so they are only going to make the world worse. In such a place, the gods who actually care about ruling the world should be the actual choice, should they not?" Loki said.

"You bewitched Anglea just so that you can keep me in this place a little more right? Just so that you could pitch me this whole thing to Fenrir." Lucas said.

Loki shrugged. He then looked behind Lucas, and back at him.

"I do not have a lot of time. even I can trick Brinhyldr for only so long. Think about this, Fenrir. Awaiting you is a life of a king. Do you want to let that go just for a little more freedom?" Loki said. With this, he disappeared from where he stood.

Lucas paused for a while.

"That bastard. He has the gall to mess with me? He could have just come to me personally and said all of this. Why does he have to inconvenience us?" Lucas cursed.

"Calm down, Lucas. My father had his reasons. Odin has been putting his eye on Loki especially these few days. Leaving for a few minutes is one thing. Going to the mortal realm and back is another. My father is obviously trying to stay out of Odin's mind for the moment." Fenrir said.

"What I want right now is not you protecting him. Tell me. Are you thinking of siding with them? Because the last thing that I want is for heaven itself to get overrun by chaos. I ned to make sure that all the gods recognize our goods work, and for me to be cleansed of all my karma. No matter how this war goes, not even the victors will be able to completely change how the world works. And I have no intention of going to hell." Lucas said.

"Tell me, Lucas. Is heaven really worth it? Worth risking all of what you have built for?" Fenrir asked softly.

"Everyone that I know is gone. Everyone that I care about is there. And do not forget, Fenrir. We have already tried to break through there once. God is very serious about keeping the sanctity of the exclusive club, and he is still pissed at me for trying." Lucas said.

"But everything that you are doing seems a bit much just for going to heaven." Fenrir said.

"No matter how many good things I do, the amount of bad karma that I have negates all of that. I will never be able to balance the feather. I will topple even the whole ostrich with what I have done in the past." Lucas shouted with frustration.
