Chapter 148 - She's Even Crazier Than Me
A few minutes later, they came out of their room with more decent clothes. However, it seemed they didn't have much choice since the clothes were still quite revealing. After all, it was probably Zero who had bought all those clothes for them. They didn't have much choice.
Nevertheless, I no longer focused on their appearance. I needed them to beat the shit out of Zero, who was still barely bruised around his stomach area.
"Alright, you now have two choices. You can either go and leave right now. Or give Zero a little goodbye gift and leave. If you don't want to hit him, I won't force you."
"Uh…can we know what's outside? Where will we be coming out? Also, can we come out with you?" They asked. "After all, you will able to protect us if anything goes wrong… well, if you want to protect us, that is."
I waved my hand in a dismissive manner. "As soon as we're Zero. I'll guide you all back to the Human Empire. Don't worry, I won't let you all alone right after this. That would be quite cruel."
They all breathed sighs of relief as they suddenly all walked forward toward Zero, stripping him of his remaining clothes just like he had done to them for so many years.
Then, they formed a single file, and one after another, they kicked him right into his stomach as hard as they possibly could. I just smiled as I saw Zero in pain; it was satisfying that he was suffering after all those years. Some of the girls even aimed for his head with their kicks, causing him to bleed from his nose and his lips to break.
Within minutes of this, his face was also bloody, even less recognizable than before. He wasn't close to dying yet, but he was clearly in pain as he kept squirming with every hit he received.
"Are most of you feeling satisfied now?" I asked with a smile.
Practically, all of them nodded except for a single one. The girl who had been bleeding from her ass. She shook her head as she smiled as if she had lost her mind.
"I want to kill him!" She said as she continued to smile while saying those words. She had clearly lost her mind in the revenge, which was something that had happened to me in the past, so I could clearly understand what she was feeling.
Even those who knew her well in the room couldn't help but look at her with scared gazes, unsure of what was happening to her.
"Oh, do you know?" I smirked. "How do you want to kill him?"
"I want him to beg. I want to see him begging me to stop…I want to see the despair on that shitty face of his."
I looked into her eyes, and she had truly reached a new stage of crazy. There was so much hatred mixed with happiness that I wasn't sure what the right decision would be. Still, if that's what she wanted, then I would help her do so.
"I see. Anyone else who wants to see such a thing?" I asked as I looked around. However, none of them raised their hands or looked interested in the slightest. This beating had been more than enough for them. "No one…huh. Then, we will give him despair in private. What's your name?"
"Emma!" She said with the same crazy look on her face as before.
"Alright, Emma. Then, I will help you achieve this. Though, we won't show the others because… well, it will be quite the disturbing sight."
Zero's look on his face completely changed when he learned that I would get involved. He knew that I was capable of anything. "Wait, wait, wait, you said that if I removed their slave contracts, they would be the ones taking care of my death! Why did you lie to me?"
"I lied. What are you going to do about it?" I said with a smirk as I grabbed hold of his torso and brought him with me to his bedroom, with Emma following closely behind.
She was smiling brightly. Something had clearly switched in her mind, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to keep her around me and teach her a few things. However, I was still thinking about it. If she lost her mind too often and did not respect my orders, then things could be quite complicated quite fast.
Once we closed the door behind us, I looked over to Emma. "I will teach a torture method that is sure to make any person lose their mind, begging you to stop right away. So, watch closely."
Emma just nodded without saying anything.
Then, I proceeded to approach Zero, who already had an expression of fear etched into his face. I moved over to him as I summoned a strong flame in my right palm.
"Ready?" I smirked.
"No, no, no! Don't do this to me!" He shouted as loudly as he could as my hand got closer to him, and once it finally touched his body… he screamed. He screamed so loudly that even those outside the room could hear him. They could only imagine what was happening there. However, when I looked toward Emma to see if she was traumatized by what she was seeing, I noticed that there was still the same look on her face as before.
She was smiling as if admiring what I was doing.
"Want to try?" I asked her. "I'll guide you through it."
She nodded fervently, excited to torture someone.
'Yeah, this girl is definitely crazier than me. At least, she seems to be obedient to what I say.' I thought, still evaluating whether she would be a nice addition to my close circle.
She walked closer to Zero, who had his skin completely charred black.
"P-Please…don't do this to me, Emma," Zero suddenly begged. However, that only made Emma more excited.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
I got behind her and placed my hand behind her back, helping her guide the mana inside her body. Then, a flame formed inside her right hand as she brought her closer to Zero, too, burning him right away.
Laughing as he exclaimed screams of pain. She continued for minutes upon minutes. I helped her keep her flame by giving her some of my mana.
She laughed like a maniac as she saw him burn under her eyes.
More than thirty minutes later, there was no longer a single scream coming from Zero's mouth. In fact, he was just a black ball. No one would be able to recognize him as a human any longer.
"T-This was amazing!" Emma suddenly said as she looked at Zero's charred body. "Thank you!"
She jumped into my arms and gave me yet another tight hug.
I smiled awkwardly, unsure if I had just created an even crazier person than me. "L-Let's go back."
She nodded once more, listening to me right away.
As if she turned around and headed for the door. I pulled out a small container and gathered some of Zero's blood. After all, I still remembered the potion that Zale had mentioned when I had first arrived at the tribe's village. It would be a nice potion to carry around.
