White unknown to the threat right in front of her, did not hesitate a bit and answered Liora with a straight face.

She even has a tone of superiority as in her eyes there is nothing wrong in what she did, She just answered the question which was being asked to her.

Liora was speechless when she heard the words of White. This may be the first time this has happened to her in her whole life.

Normally others could not fathom what she says and means, And now she was receiving end of this treatment. She felt little sympathy for those who had to suffer from her behavior.

Of course the thought of attacking White did cross her mind cause that's what the beast do, They show their dissatisfaction through the physical actions but she drops the idea for some reason.

Maybe she didn't wanted to appear as a violent woman but again that would be against her nature as being violent and showing off her strength is the way she knows how to woo and impress her mate.

"Well she was here before you, So she was not lying."

Amara who wanted a partner like her for Alex came to the rescue of White and firmly answered to Liora.

And she also thinks what White said logically is right, White does come here first and saying that as a fact would not be wrong.

Of course it was her in the place of Liora right now, She would have looked at Alex for the come back argument as in their relationship. She is muscular and he is brain or at least that was their dynamic in childhood.

Liora didn't know what to say, She had thought of going wild to remind everyone who is queen of this land but she dropped the idea.

There is Amara here, Each fight with this girl by default becomes 2 vs 1 as Shapira also joins.

This made her embarrassed which may be the first time for her to feel this way as she tried to change the subject.

And she also didn't want to create an impression on this breathtakingly handsome boy.

Which was unlike her but that can be reasoned by her having high as 390 favorability towards Alex making her act unlike herself.

So if violence is not an option then she doesn't know what else to do and say.

She wanted to ask Shpaira what she wanted to eat, So she could go quickly and cook it for her.

Amara, hearing Liora talk about Shapira, answered as she knew Liora would not be going to push the issue anymore.

After all, she has known this girl since their teenage years. If Liora did not like something she would shy away from expressing her dissatisfaction through sheer might.

That is the reason they became friends in the first place because she is too similar to Liora.

If Liora change the subject other than pursuing the issue meaning she gave up on it, And would not pursue forward anymore. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

But that makes her bearable doof.

"What?! You lost Shapira?!!!! How could that even happen? Were you not careful enough"

Liora suddenly got up from her chair and strode towards Amara, Then she grabbed her two arms from the side with her two hands as she questioned Amara shaking her back and forth.

She could not believe it at all, Amara, The title holder of Prodigy in millenia, The best Beastmaster there lost her contacted beast.

Not only did she lose it but she was not even able to sense it. That is impossible to do with a contact beast as they are not simple pets.

Each contact is not like normal contact words on the paper but its more like an soul oath bounding both beast and their masters in the bound known as contract.

So they two are directly connected by the souls, There is no way they could not be able to sense each other's location.

They two alway know the location like huwoman's know the position of their limbs without even needing to confirm it cause that's the part of the body.

Same for the beast and their masters, They both are like extensions of each other.

There are only two reasons one may not be able to sense each other.

First is the obvious one and that is the death of  one party.

After all, Just like how huwoman's could not able to feel once their limbs are cut off, Same with contract party not able to feel one another as contract party is cut off.

Though there is the phantom connection thing just like the phantom limb but it's rare occurrence.

Of course Liora did not wanted this to be the case as this means something happened to that willful Kitty.

Seeing the face of Amara thankfully it's also seems this is not the reason as she would not be this calm as well.

Because if anything happen to the contacted beast, Beastmaster get backlash from it no matter how strong the master is they still suffer from the backlash as souls get harmed from it.

But the 2nd reason even makes her wary to admit it, Cause if something does not happen to Shapira then the only other reason why Amara can't feel her is because that Kitty may have fallen into the spatial rift.

Those are terror of the natural force of space, extremely powerful with unknown origins.

"Amara please tell me that Kitty has not fallen into the final doom?"

Liora with anxiety in her voice questioned Amara hestantly.
