Thinking back to Xu Tiange mentioning earlier how they had hunted a Gold Armored Sea Demon and extracted a Base Mutation Egg, Zheng Yan speculated that Lin Shen might have gotten a Base Mutation Egg from the Mutant Sea Demon God General.

The thought that he had had the chance to get a Mutated Crystal Base Egg but ended up being robbed by the Angel, while Lin Shen had gotten a Mutated Crystal Base Egg and might even safely last until the countdown ended and return home, made Zheng Yan very annoyed.

After exchanging information, most people decided to return to the plains and continue hunting Base Variant Creatures.

Having come to such a magical place, they couldn’t go back empty-handed; even after being robbed, they would hunt some Base Variant Creatures to get materials or Base Mutation Eggs.

With so many mutant creatures here, if luck was on their side, they could get a Mutant Egg—even just a Mutant Steel Egg, all their losses would be recovered, and they would make a fortune.

As for the robber Angel, they weren’t overly worried, as usually, the Angel would rob but not kill; at worst, they would simply get robbed again since they had little left to lose anyway.

Lu Qing and Xu Tiange had no objections and temporarily left the corpse of the Mutant Sea Demon God General with Lin Shen and Wei Wufu to watch over while both of them went off with their respective teams to find prey.

Lin Shen and Wei Wufu sat down under the shade of a large tree, looking at the herds of sheep in the distance, feeling much more relaxed.

Lu Qing and a few Mutators, guided by Zheng Yan, arrived at a spot where the plains met the mountains.

Zheng Yan and his group had been here before and found a type of Alloy Creature, but at the time, they didn’t value it much and didn’t stay long.

Now, these Alloy Creatures were the perfect prey for them, who lacked pets; they couldn’t be picky anymore.

“Lu Qing, you take people to hunt around here, I’ll go check other places to see if there are more suitable Base Variant Creatures for hunting,” Zheng Yan said, then turned and walked towards another direction.

After losing sight of Lu Qing and the others, Zheng Yan veered to one side, heading straight for the valley where he had previously been robbed by Angel.

Not long after entering the valley, he saw a figure of Angel descending from the sky. A flicker of joy passed through Zheng Yan’s eyes.

“You again, what bad luck,” Tian Xin said, glancing at them and recognizing Zheng Yan whom they’d robbed before, feeling somewhat annoyed.

“But since I’m here, how could I return empty-handed? My friend, could you give me some face?” Tian Xin narrowed his eyes and walked over to Zheng Yan.

“Wait, I know someone who not only has a Crystal-based pet but also a Mutated Crystal Base Egg,” Zheng Yan suddenly spoke up.
