Chapter 34: An Attack? An Angel Appears!

The scenery outside the window kept changing along the way. They were approaching the palace.

A blue-haired soldier who was eating steamed meat next to them and listening in to his comrades’ conversation swallowed a large piece of meat in a hurry. He pointed to the sky and exclaimed, “Hey, look, what’s that white light on the horizon?”

Everyone looked in the direction he was pointing at and saw that in the distant horizon, amidst the darkness of the night, there was an exceptionally dazzling ray of white light.

It cut through the sky at an unbelievable pace, leaving behind a long streak of white flames. That was the result of the atmosphere being burned at a high temperature.

The soldiers’ eyes slowly widened as they stared at the ray of white light in shock.

That was because the white light seemed to be heading for the capital.

“Heavens, is that a meteorite?”

“Get off the city wall! It’s coming here!”

“Run, quick!”

The distance between the white light spot and the capital was rapidly shrinking.

By the time everyone could react, a two-meter-tall figure had already crashed onto the eastern side of the capital’s city wall from the sky.

An angel had always been a symbol of something sacred and untouchable.

Angels were favored by the heaven and earth from the moment they were born in the Sacred Pool. Not only were they born with a natural affinity for many different natural elements, they were also talented in the rare light element.
