Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 255

255 The savior is assaulted

[Let’s keep walking. But this party room is, let’s say, quite surprising. Wanna take a look?]

Vincent shrugged his shoulders and kept walking. He wasn’t interested in seeing a room that could make him lose composure and his poker face.

Vincent wanted to be prepared to act, unlike his current feelings of anger and disgust at the sight of a guard.

After passing through multiple halls, Vincent felt like he was in a maze. The halls were all the same. Even the windows showed the same tree species whenever a tree was in front of a window.

Vincent shook his head. Kazumi never notified Vincent of finding a hidden room, nor Lilith. It added more to his anxiety. He blamed the stress of being found when Kazumi was looking in a room to be interfering with his judgment and vision.

It would be game over if Vincent meets a guard and gets escorted to the code-named guard number zero. Kazumi wouldn’t be able to check out all the rooms since her body was anchored to him. The possibility to find Lilith would become almost impossible.

Time passed, and after walking quite far from Viscount Demel Blackheart’s office, Kazumi notified Vincent to enter a room.

[I think this is Lilith’s bedroom because it’s another luxurious-looking room.]

[Wait here while I take a look at our surroundings and check if there are any guards nearby.]

.....

Kazumi quickly left to secure the perimeter.

Vincent entered the bedroom, and he felt impressed, as Kazumi mentioned. The room looked like it was of a young teen, yet it had the feeling of a mature woman as well. It was as if the bedroom was shared with two people.

The bedroom had a royal rich-looking canopy bed. It had multiple pillows with blue pillowcases, a blue bedsheet, and even the curtains attached to the canopy bed frame were blue. Additionally, all the fabrics had golden stitches and small golden stitched embroidery.

Vincent turned his gaze to look at other things in the bedroom with white and blue. He noticed that even the window curtains were blue. It was easy to guess what favorite color the owner of the room has.

Vincent looked on the opposite side of the bedroom. There was a small desk with a large mirror. The desk had an abundant amount of perfumes and makeup on it.

Vincent thought that not even a makeup studio would have this many products on one desk.

Vincent turned his gaze yet again to the window. Beside it was a bookshelf filled to the brim with books. A few books were even stacked on each other.

Besides this bookcase was another desk. It had a quill and a closed bottle of ink. Multiple papers were on the desk as well.

Vincent noticed a small bucket with crumpled papers in it. Curiosity overcame him, and he picked up the bucket. Vincent dumped the crumpled papers on the desk, and five balls of crumpled paper rolled on the desk surface.

Vincent picked one crumpled paper and opened it. Since no one was in the room, he read out loud.

“My knight in shining armor visited my dream yet again. Ohh, woe me as I try to make him stay with me for much longer. But my eyes open, and the dream ends. I am back to the nightmare once again. When will my dream become real?”

Vincent frowned and placed the paper on the desk. *Gulp* He picked another crumpled paper, opened and started reading.

“My favorite color is blue, but I am starting to like the color green... like the one who took my breath away... like the one who made my heart hurt, my chest lit aflame, and my tears of happiness break this weak body... when will those emerald jewels look at me again I wonder...”

Vincent didn’t need to read to know her favorite color. The green parts of the words made him think about how he flirted with Lilith to stay out of trouble.

‘Was Lilith writing a book or something?’ He thought while placing the paper on the desk and picking another crumpled paper. As Vincent read the contents of the next paper, a blush appeared on his face.

“When will my knight in shining armor revisit the evil monster? When will he save me and remove his armor to see his body? When can I remove his bandages with my teeth to lick his wounds? Ohh, when can he ravage me and do as he pleases with my body?”

*Thud!* Vincent stopped reading as the questions became more erotic the more he read. He slammed the paper on the desk to stop before it got worse. Two more crumpled papers remained, but Vincent didn’t feel like reading them anymore.

‘If Lilith Lionheart wrote this, does it mean my flirting worked to this extent? If Lilith actually wrote this, does it mean she had dreams about me and about removing my bandages and...’ Vincent shook his head to stop thinking.

[I’m back.]

Vincent was startled when he heard Kazumi’s telepathic voice enter his mind.

[We don’t have to worry about getting discovered here. All the rooms around this one are clean and well maintained, but they are empty.]

[Quite the opposite from the rooms near Demel’s office. Those rooms make the mansion look as if it is an abandoned building. ]

[Furthermore, I couldn’t find a guard nearby. Could it be that all the guards in the mansion are the only ones we met? That means only five plus one unmet private guards and the bastard Demel are the only people to worry about.]

“Yes, that would be great. I read these... ahem, papers with me on a few of them. Hehe, it makes me want to see Lilith and ask her what she thinks about me.” Vincent chuckled.

[You’re not lying, are you? Your acting wasn’t top notch at that time, but... it this why Maid Xu asked about making love with her lady every day as if she is the last living woman in the world?]

“Lilith Lionheart... She is still holding on even in her situation. Maid Xu helping her might also be why Lilith sounds so expressive in her. Ahem, writing.” The papers were still on Vincent’s mind.

Vincent sat on the comfy bed and looked at the ceiling. “The chandelier looks pricey as well. Nobles sure are rich unlike me... well, I scammed that black hearted bastard eight gold, hahaha.” He laughed.

[Are we going to dilly dally here, or are we going to continue?]

“Yeah. It’s better to go. But it sucks that we couldn’t find Lilith” *Sigh* “let’s continue looking around. Then we will go to a guard to resume our plan. But I hope we can find Lilith. We need her help to make this plan have a higher chance to succeed.” Vincent got up and prepared to leave the bedroom.

*Thud, thud! clang*

“Did you hear that, Kazumi? Didn’t you say there weren’t any guards nearby?” Vincent asked.

Kazumi looked around and used Mana Sence to be safe. Her gaze soon stopped on a large wardrobe covered by a large blue bedsheet.

[The sound is coming from the wardrobe covered by the blue fabric! I can sense mana inside, and it is moving.]

[It’s a person! There is a person inside!]

Kazumi immediately used Soul Export again and went to see who was hiding or trapped inside the wardrobe. Kazumi didn’t want to stop thinking that the person inside the wardrobe was an assassin.

[Let me see who it is...]

Kazumi entered and exited a second later.

[Vincent, hurry! Lilith is stuck in here! I don’t know how she can fit inside here, and she doesn’t look too good.]

Kazumi said while rushing into Vincent’s body to preserve mana.

Vincent frowned. He pulled the blue bedsheet out of the way, and the sight in front of him made him furious.

The large wardrobe doors had two doors. They were open by a quarter or a little more, and a small chain with a lock was wrapped around the door handles to keep the doors closed.

“This is too much!” Vincent summoned an ordinary sword he got from the large bags on the horses. After a few good tugs, he broke the handles without making too much sound nor injuring the person inside.

However, Vincent wasn’t prepared for what was about to happen next. The wardrobe doors forcefully opened, and a large overweight woman fell on Vincent.

*Thud* “Ugh... so heavy.” Vincent rubbed the back of his head and looked at the woman on top of him. He focused his gaze and checked out her condition.

.

[Name] Lilith Lionheart

[Race] Human

[Age] 28

[Condition] Minor Injury, Tired, High Life Bane, Medium Insomnia, Medium Malnutrition

[Traits] None

[Stats] Strength 5 || Agility 4 || Perception 8 || Mana 7

.

Vincent pushed Lilith from one side and rolled her off of him. He removed the gag from her mouth and cut the rope tightly wrapped around her chest and arms. Lilith could breathe freely now.

.

[1x Minor Healing Potion (Uncommon Quality) summoned. x0 remaining.]

.

Vincent summoned the healing potion he found and placed it in his mouth. Then he fed the content mouth to mouth. The potion was quite valuable to Vincent since his healing spell used precious Soul Power to use.

A few seconds later, Lilith squinted her eyes open. She could feel her lips warm, and her eyes could see the man of her dreams giving a passionate kiss.

Lilith thought it was another dream instead of what was actually happening. Vincent was being mindful not to waste even a drop as his Soul Power was on the line.

“W-wait!” Vincent exclaimed after Lilith wrapped her arms around him. Vincent fell on her this time.
